They all stall in the same places. Proper nouns break. Speakers swap. Summaries are too safe to submit as-is. Read the reviews — the same complaints, over and over.

So I rebuilt from transcription accuracy. Fix mistakes in place, then go from summary to sharing in one screen.

I build this in Japan, while sitting in Japanese meetings. What we add next will come from real use.

What can I record or upload?
Mic recording, audio/video files (common formats such as mp3, m4a, wav, mp4), media URLs (including YouTube), and meeting-bot invites for Zoom, Meet, and Teams. Processing time depends on length and source.
Which languages does transcription support?
99 languages — including Japanese, English, Chinese, Korean, Arabic, Hindi, and many more. Auto-detect if you’re not sure.
Is there a desktop app?
Yes. Desktop apps for Windows and macOS record your mic and system audio, so you can capture any meeting without inviting a bot.Go to the download page
Is Sumarii free?
Yes. The Free plan includes about 3 hours of transcription per month and generous AI for summaries, chat, and translation — no credit card required. Need more? Upgrade to Pro (¥1,980/month, tax included) anytime in the app.
Can my team share a workspace?
Yes, on the Team plan. Invite members to a shared workspace with shared sessions and a shared dictionary. Roles include owner, admin, and member. From ¥3,980/seat/month or ¥39,800/seat/year (tax included, minimum 2 seats). Upgrade in the app under Settings → Billing.
Can I export transcripts and summaries?
Yes. From any session, choose the format (txt, Word, Excel, CSV, or SRT) and which sections to include.
Can I organize sessions into folders?
Yes. Create folders, move sessions between them, and click a folder to filter; Sessions still shows everything.
Can I undo edits to a session?
Yes. Compare what changed and restore an earlier version. The last 50 versions per session are kept.
How much does Pro cost?
Pro is ¥1,980/month or ¥19,800/year (tax included). Team is ¥3,980/seat/month or ¥39,800/seat/year (tax included, minimum 2 seats). Upgrade anytime in the app.
Is my meeting data used to train AI?
No. Audio, transcripts, and notes are not used to train our models or the provider models we rely on. AI subprocessors operate under zero-retention terms.
Where is my data stored, and how is it protected?
Customer data is stored in Japan. Traffic uses HTTPS, stored data is encrypted at rest, and access requires sign-in with workspace-scoped controls. Audio is only reachable via short-lived signed URLs. Sessions go to Trash first; permanent deletion destroys audio immediately and clears text from database backups within 7 days.Read full security details
