For third-party services that require a subscription, users must have a subscription to that service to use its integration.
As a Google Workspace admin, you can control which of your users can use Workspace Integrations. Integrations are connectors to third-party services, such as Asana, Mailchimp, and Salesforce, that let users access and take action on their third-party content from Gemini Apps and Google Workspace Flows.
Manage access in your Admin console
Because integrations are available through Google Workspace Marketplace, you control access to them the same way you control other Marketplace apps.
If you manage Marketplace apps with an allowlist, you can limit who can use integrations. For details, go to Set whether users can install Marketplace apps and Manage the Marketplace app allowlist for your organization.
You can’t use API controls to restrict user access to integrations. Users can still use integration even if you change the app access from Trusted to Blocked.Set up helper apps for third-party integrations
Some integrations, such as Asana, require that you or your users install a helper app that’s provided by the third-party service. The link to the helper app you need to install is included in the integration’s Marketplace listing.
If you manage app access in the third-party service with an allowlist, you must allow the helper app in order for your users to use the integration.
