Saved information
Important: This feature is only available with a Google Home Premium subscription.
Ask Home can personalize the experience for members of your home based on information you’ve requested it to save. It uses this information to learn your household’s preferences and information and uses that to provide relevant responses and suggestions.
Ask Home may ask if you want it to save something based on your conversation. You can also request that it save something by entering a phrase like “Remember that our dog’s name is Charlie” into the prompt. Other than during onboarding, you’ll need to explicitly request or confirm you want Ask Home to save something before it’s saved.
After you’ve saved information, you can use it in conversation with Ask Home. For example, if you asked to save your favorite color as blue, you can ask “Set living room lights to my favorite color.”
You can also personalize your Home Brief using saved information. For example, "Focus my Home Brief on kids’ activities" or "Don't mention vehicles in my Home Brief."
To make Ask Home forget saved information, say "Delete all saved information" or "Forget everything you remember" and you'll be asked to confirm.
You can ask Ask Home about specific saved information. For example, if you requested it to save your favorite color, you can ask, "What is my favorite color?" You can also ask about all your saved information by asking, "What do you remember?"
