Change your Google Fi phone number
If you want to change your phone number, you need to contact the Google Fi support team. You can do this if you get spam calls or prefer a new area code. Self-service isn’t available for this option.
When you contact support, provide:
- The email address associated with your account
- Your current ZIP code
- Your preferred area code for the new number
After you confirm the request, the change can take up to 24 hours to complete. You can check your new number in the Google Fi app.
Find your account number & transfer PIN to leave Google Fi
To transfer your number from Google Fi to a different service provider, you need your account number and transfer PIN.
- Sign in to your account on the Google Fi app or the Google Fi website.
- Scroll and tap Get transfer info.
- You can find your account number and an option to generate your transfer PIN.
Tip: When you generate the PIN, it may begin the cancellation process. This can’t be undone if you change your mind.
