Turn on task notifications

Important: You can receive task notifications in the Google Tasks and Google Calendar apps. If both of the apps are installed, only one app notifies you. For example, if you have the Calendar app and the Tasks app installed, only the Tasks app notifies you.

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the settings app.
  2. Tap Notifications.
  3. In the app list, tap Tasks.
  4. Turn on Allow notifications.

Tip: If you don't have the Tasks app, you can change task notifications for Calendar. Learn how to update your notifications for Calendar.

  2. Tap Focus.
  3. At the top, tap the desired Focus.
  4. Under "Allow Notifications," tap Apps and then Add apps and then Tasks and then Done.
  5. Turn on Time Sensitive Notifications.
