The Winter Jasmine

I love the winter Jasmine

and it's pretty yellow flowers

and I love to hide from Mum here

when she doesn't know where I am!

I pretend I haven't seen her

and she soon comes to find me

 and wants to know if I'm hungry and want my tea.

as if!!!

Ouch!

A couple of years ago Mum stepped back

and accidentally stepped on Hannah's Paw

and she needed to get her urgently to the vet.

While Mum was getting Hannah into her carrier

Lucy sat quietly on a cushion and sneezed and

found a fevver and nearly blew Mum off her feet!

Sitting in the Hall

.

I love to sit in the hall

and watch Mum going up and down

but I don't watch her too closely

as it makes her

get rather cross!

Sitting in the Sunshine

.

I've been sitting in the sun

and it was wonderful

when I rolled over.

Mum was miffed though

when I put my tongue out at her!

.

I'm Sleepy

.

I got very comfy

sat on Mum's knee

and she told me

she'd heard me snoring

AS IF!!

A Good Stretch

There's nothing like 

a good stretch

and a hint to Mum that when

you've finished your bath

You'll be taking a nap.

Stop Staring at me!

I was rolling on the floor

and wanted to take a nap

but Mum kept talking to me

so I gave up and

pretended to listen!

I'm sleepy

I'm feeling rather sleepy



so I think I'll take a nap

and relax in the conservatory

I thought it was peaceful

but as usual

Mum's rabbiting on the phone.

A Lovely Sunny Day

It's wonderful outside today

and I started playing

with the winter jasmine.

It's such fun to whap the stems

but I heard Mum behind me

saying leave the jasmine alone.

Oops!!

..

I'm Sleepy

.

I can't seem to wake up today

and I'm trying to wash my face

and make sure my ears are clean

so I can hear if Mum

is going to get me

my chicken dinner

.

Oh No!!

.

Go away Mum

as I'm feeling rather tired

and I'm going to spend

a while with my eyes tight shut

pretending I'm asleep.
