Cats on Tuesday

Hello dear furry and human friends,
Luna, Luzie and Olli received a package from Goldie Shade and Banshee for Christmas. Olli unwrapped it at first and curious doggie Patch was helping. The mom of Goldie Shade and Banshee felted a fox tail for the kitties. I think it was the best toy they ever had. They shared it and played for longer with it. It was never boring like other toys


In the end Luna played it off ...totally...
Sorry dear friends....it is broken...but we all had soooooo much fun with it. Thank you for these great toy!!!
Here are sleeping the boys.....they looks soooo innocent...The humans of the Tabby are on vacations and leaves the little cat alone outside. In the meantime Olli shares his food and warm place with his friend.

Cat Art Sunday

Hello dear friends, we hope you all had furry wonderful holidays and got lots of yummy treats.
Luna enjoyed the wonderful smell of the decorated tree. We decorated the tree with unbreakable baubles on the ground. The cats find out how to play them off.
Here you can see the yummy treats which our furry friends from the woods in Canada sent us.


Look at these cute couple..... It is a gift from the beankids to our humans.

Cats on Tuesday

Hello dear furry and human friends. Christmas is not far and our humans are busy with preparing the holidays .
It was very cold the last days and we are kind enough to share the warm house with our friends. Since Olli and the tabby neighboring cat became very very good friends he is busy with fun fighting and stop bothering our cat ladies.

Snowy Cat Art Sunday

Here in northern Germany we have finally snow. It was very very cold the last two days. We had -11,4°C/ 10°F and now it is only -7°C / 20°F and we have snow. Snow is rare here.....
When I saw these pawprints I had the idea that it could be Cat Art. Can you see the smaller ones of a birdie ?
Today Steffen and Dad bought a Christmas tree at the countryside. Here you can see the smaller trees.... too small for us...
....and here are the larger ones....toooo big for our house.... ( on that photo you can see how dark it was at 2 o clock in the afternoon)
Steffen decided that this tree is the right Christmas tree for us.
Our friend Karla and Misses Peach have a Cat Art Sunday with angels today. I made this Paperdoll angel and want to show it today here.

We are so sad

We are so sad to read that our friends Prinnie and Bonnie are gone over the rainbowbridge.
Both were our first friends in Blogland.
Wir sind sehr traurig zu erfahren, dass unsere Freunde Prinnie und Bonnie über die Regenbogenbrücke gegangen sind..
Sie waren unsere allerersten Freunde im Blogland.

Its cold and dark outside and there is not much to do for cats. ...Except Olli is helping me with the cookies. Sorry for the bad quality of the photos... I did it with the Cyber shot...but Olli moved all the time...

Cozy Cat Art Sunday

Hello dear furry and human friends! We have a new Cat Art Sunday . This is the idea of karla and Misses Peach.
You can see at the first picture a little vintage angel orchestra. The angels are a special German artwork from the ore mountains.

This cute Christmas kitty is a napkin. We use it during the Advent time. Diese süße Weihnachtskatze ist eine Serviette. Wir benutzen sie in der Adventzeit.
I found this crochet star on a local fleamarket yesterday for only 1 Euro. Unfortunately it was the last fleamarket for the next 9 weeks here. Gestern habe ich diesen gehäkelten Stern auf einem Flohmarkt für einen Euro bekommen. Bei der gleichen Verkäuferin habe ich noch 2 gestickete vintage Weihnachtsdecken für 1 Euro bekommen. Leider ist der nächste Flohmarkt erst wieder in 9 Wochen.
It is cold here now and all cats decided to sleep in the house. Luna found a cozy place for a nap near my legs. It was possible to take a photo of her fluffy tummy. After taking the photo I tried to comb and brush her fur . ...Luna doesn´t love that furry much and bites me and the brush...
Es ist kalt geworden draussen und inzwischen haben alle Katzen beschlossen, dass es im Haus doch viel gemütlicher ist. Luna wechselt den Platz neben mir auf dem Sofa mit Luzie ab.
Nach dem letzten Foto habe ich versucht Lunas Bauch zu bürsten, aber die fand das doof und hat mich und die blöde Bürste gebissen.

PS: Thank you for all your nice words for the bean boys knuckle. It is doing much better says the doctor! It will be healthy until Christmas when he plays not too wild.
Vielen Dank für euren lieben Worte zu Steffens Handknöchel. Der Arzt hat gesagt, dass bis Weihnachten alles wieder in Ordnung sein müsste, wenn er den Arm nicht zu sehr belastet und zu wild spielt..... das sagt er einem wilden Kerl......

Cats on Tuesday

Hello dear furry and human friends. This is a short post, because I´m busy with taking to and picking up the bean boy . Today he has another date with the doctor for x-ray the knuckle.

Here in Germany at the 6 th December we had the Nikolausday and he not even brought sweets and chocolate for the kids . He also brought treat for the kitties. And he is kind enough to think of the tabby neighboring kitty too
Sanabelle treats are the best near Dreamies / Temptations....yummy....the tabby cat love them too.
A few of you asked us for a christmas card exchange. I made a few photo collages for the cards. Here is one .
We already sent off our cards and we received the first card . Thank you ,GJ, we hope our card has find the way to you too.

Cat Art Sunday

This is a very late sunday post, today! It was a very rainy day and Patch and Luzie had a longer nap on the sofa. Es regnet heute schon den ganzen Tag und Patch und Luzie verschlafen den Nikolaustag auf dem Sofa.
We have Nikolausday in Germany. St. Nikolaus comes in Germany at the 6 th December. The children put out their shoes in the evening before the Nikolaus day and in the morning they find sweets and chocolate in their shoes.
Besides we have the 2. Advent sunday and light on the second candle.
As you can see Olli takes care that everything is ok on the table. Ausserdem haben wir heute die 2. Kerze angezündet und Olli passt auf, dass wir alles richtig machen.
Here is a part of my seasonal decoration.
This year I tried again to find a kitty glass pendant for the Christmas tree. I could not find a kitty but I found a doggie... thats ok....maybe I can find a kitty next year.
Und hier nun ein Teil meiner Weihnachtsdekoration. In diesem jahr habe ich wieder versucht einen Glaskatzenanhänger für den Tannenbaum zu finden. Ich hab keine Katze gefunden, aber dafür diesen Mops....das ist auch ok....aber vielleicht finde ich im nächsten Jahr einen Katzenanhänger.
The black Steiff kitty received today a Nikolaus hat... die schwarze Steiffkatze hat heute eine Nikolausmütze bekommen....

Craftings and crashs

I´m a little late with everything .....bad in December.....because the beanboy hurt his knuckle. He had a crash during the sport at school. Now he has a tiny fracture that hurts very much and he couldn´t go to school the last 2 days. Unfortunately he has Guitar lesson and a school concert for christmas...sh...happens....
I´ve fun to crochet lots granny squares for a blanket. The family pets love to share the sofa with us and that leaves a lot of dirt and fur. So I decided to crochet blankets. This is a wonderful work for wintertime.
In a former post I showed the pink hexagon blanket but I mostly like the blue granny squares. You can see Luzie love it too.
Now I have to hide all the threads and crochet the grannies to a blanket. But I think I have to crochet some more grannies...I´ll show you when I´m ready and it is in use....

Cats on Tuesday

Thank you, dear furry and human friends for all your kind and helpful comments to Luzies problem.
Luzie is doing well the last days. She has her daily walk with me and the dog. When I´m watching TV she tries to stay with me. And the best is she prefered to stay in the house for a few nights.

Here are two short videos of Luzie. The first is when all come together for a meal.
The next is from yesterday evening when we cuddle on the sofa.
