Hello all, I finally got back from vacation so posts will hopefully become a more regular sight. Last Friday I celebrated my 30 birthday and well got some presents for myself connected with miniatures hobby. After much deliberation I decided to jump into Warhammer Age of Sigmar by Games Workshop . Since I have to start something new from time to time and I was a little bit sick with my square based Skaven Army, in the process of building for the last 3 years, I chose Stormcast Eternals. Why? Because they are shiny and people hate them. Plus they are something new in the Warhammer Age of Sigmar universe. Hello all,  so most of you write these horrid reports bragging about what you have managed to accomplish in the passing month so I have decided to join your ranks! :-) Not much to write actually but yet and still here we go. Not many posts this month and I don't predict more since I am overloaded with work. As for the plans for next month. Too many. I would like to start painting my SAGA Vikings and continue on my Cygnar. Hello all, today I want to show you my finished packmaster Skweel Gnawtooth. I have tried to improve my highlighting/blending techniques. Not satisfied but slowly improving. Anyway, enjoy! Hello all, long time no posts :-) I recently did not have much time to paint but I did manage to spare some and did wash the clanrats and put some highlights on the skin. Sadly the pics as usual are not of the best quality :) I need to get a good camera.

Hello all, so I did not quite have the time to paint during the last two weeks but still I managed to progress a bit. The horde is fully assembled by now and basecoated. I believe that I will be able to finish them by the end of the week and if not I will by the end of the month. I also had my friend asking me to paint an angel for her so I went for the Reaper Miniatures Angel of Mercy . I really like the sculpt and the weight of it. Feels solid. I have prepared the model and primed it white. I do not have to be quick about it. Plus since it is my first model that someone asks me to paint I will definitely take it slow. 

Hello, so I progress somewhat on all of my plans from the last post . So far I have managed to rebase my plague monks. I used a hobby knife to cut them off from the base. At some point they just popped out of place. I have glued them back. I now need to glue back some of the hands that I plan to reposition and I believe I will in the near future highlight them a bit.  When it comes to the 20 clanrats I am painting... I did find some time to basecoat but I did not paint all the elements. Hopefully, next week will bring more progress. Old clanrats got their eyes repainted.

Hi guys, today I want to show you the Warplightning Cannon that I have been building for some time now. Due to some free time connected to sickness I finally had a chance to finish it. Here are the results. I used some advice that you can find on The Chattering Horde blog by +Oliver Bayley I have also tried to paint some rust but I am not quite happy with the results. So I have managed to find some time during the last few days and decided to paint the last two rat ogres in my collection. Here are the results. I decided to paint a one more layer of highlight but I believe that the paint was not diluted enough. Anyway, here are the results. Enjoy!

Hello all, so I have updated the Skaven page a little bit in order to help you navigate through the blog. I have also found some spelling mistakes but they are long gone now. As have probably noticed there is a new subpage on the bar labeled Warmachine. I am slowly getting into the game by Privateer Press . I did some research and I know there are people playing in my city so I said why not? I was also getting tired by my really slow progress in painting my Skavens... so far I have managed to paint 40 clan rats, 20 plague monks, 10 giant rats, a rat ogre, 2 pack masters, a warlord and the doom-flayer. Still there is the Island of Blood, 20 clan rats, Hell Pit Abo, Warp-lightning Cannon and the Doom Wheel plus two lords waiting for the paint and brush to take care of them. With my pace it will take half a year to finish them all. I am not in a hurry but still it makes me a bit frustrated that there are like about 70+ models to paint. Plus I expect the new Skaven kits by the end of the...

Hi guys, I have finally managed to finish the Doom-Flayer that I have been writing about some time ago. I am not happy with the model thou. The resin cast was awful and I got discouraged during the painting because of that. Anyway, here it is. Try to enjoy :)

Hello guys, so I have been working with the Skaven Doom Flyer for two days now and I still did not manage to finish clearing the resin. What is more, I have cut my thumb badly a few times thanks to the delicate parts I had to clear with my hobby knife. Anyway, I know that GW would probably send me a new model if only I have the will to write to them, but... First of all, it is a present from my soon to be wife that she had brought from London last year and second of all, when I first opened the box I did not see the big miscast this whole miniature is. So I have started my struggle... In this picture you can see that one half of the miniature is higher than the second one. No idea what to do with this. I think I will just leave it here. The same problem occurred with the main wheel mechanism but there one just had to use the knife a lot since it will be mostly hidden anyway.

Hello, after a while I have finally managed to finish the giant rats from the old GW metal line (mine were dated 2003).
