Light Pink and Blue Foils

Today I'm working with nail foils! I used light blue foils, light pink foils that have a bit of holo to them, and a little bit of some silver. I love nail foils, but I never use them because I can't find a way to protect them. With this manicure I tried out using a mixture of water and high gloss as a sort of "top coat". It didn't ruin and crinkle up the foils when I applied it, which was a huge plus. My foils still only lasted about one full day with it, although that's still much better than if I hadn't used it at all. I definitely need to try it out more though and experiment with how much gloss I use.

PNMC: Mermaid

Hello! I'm a little bit late with this one, but last weeks 52 Week Challenge prompt was mermaid. For my mermaid nails I did a gradient using Zoya Mimi, Zoya Remy, and Zoya Charla. These polishes blended together so well! I used foils for the scale nail by painting the design with the foil adhesive and then laying a silver foil on top when it was dry. I really love this gradient, but unfortunately the only way I could get the color to show up on camera was to use this horrible lighting! It looked much better in person, I swear.

31DC2015: Follow A Tutorial

Hello! I've decided to attempt a new 31 Day Challenge for the month of January. You can find out more about it here. I already know that there is no way that I'm going to be able to complete every single day, but I'm going to try to get as many done as possible. The first day is follow a tutorial. For my manicure I follow this tutorial in order to do this neat foil design.

New Years Eve Manicure

Happy New Years Eve! Here is the manicure that I will be wearing to ring in the new year. The design is basically what I do every year, but this time I used only nail foils! I got some nail foils for Christmas and I thought that New Years would be the perfect time to test them out. I love the results and I thought that they were so fun to work with!
