Favorites :: Vintage VHS :: When Sybil Danning Says Watch, You Watch, Pilgrim.

Here's a batch of Sybil Danning's Adventure Videos courtesy of U.S.A. Home Video, a combination of standard and over-sized boxes that used to be littered all over the lost and lamented Video Kingdom, to which I will always be thankful for introducing me to Women in Cell Block 7.

Favorites :: Vintage VHS :: Columbia's Drive-In Classic Covers!

Apparently, at some point, the old American International back catalog of films belonged to Columbia, resulting in these spiffy, retro-four-walling poster box covers. Now, I think the majority of the films are under MGM's banner. And it's my understanding that the reason why some of these featured titles have had a DVD release while others haven't is over some lingering copyright issues when Jim Nicholson and Sam Arkoff's split in the late 1960's over Nicholson's divorce, a direct result of his pursuit of actress Susan Hart; a rift over split assets that has been kinda festering since Nicholson's untimely death a few years later. And that's why I Was a Teenage Werewolf, Invasion of the Saucer Men, and several other AIP classics haven't made the digital leap yet. I'm sure it'll happen someday, I hope; but until then we can at least have these on our shelves.

Favorites :: Vintage VHS :: SEE! The Vengeful Fury of an Inflatable Pool Toy!

About the only Larry Buchanan flick that I haven't seen yet, this beauty was part of Monterey Home Video's Midnight Madness line that also included the likes of Planet on the Prowl, Terror Beneath the Sea and The Creation of the Humanoids.
