Nurgle : Nurglings finished !

I finished these Nurglings yesterday.

I thought this was going to be an easy & quick job , but it wasn't. These buggers have a lot of details and are not so big. And if that wasn't hard enough , I used 3 different colors.

3 Piles of Nurglings and 7 loose ones. ( so far )

 I really like the diverse look of these fellows and the fact that they made some in ( almost ) every box of the Nurgle army. To stimulate the collecting aspect , I guess.

That's it for this project , on to the next one...

Chaos Lord finished !

 Today I didn't enjoy painting High Elves , so I worked on the Chaos Lord that was still on my table.

And I was able to finish him.

I painted him in the green color-scheme (Nurgle). He'll be the commander of the Marauders (also painted green / Nurgle)

And here he is commanding his forces.

That's it for now.

8 Chaos Marauders finished !

Yesterday I finished the last 8 Chaos Marauders of this regiment of 16. As it was to late and I had to get up at 4.30 a.m. to work , I took the pictures today after work.

 Now this group of 16 is finished !

 And a army picture of my Chaos army !

I hope to keep up this pace ... it's the 18th and already 17 miniatures painted !

And they keep cumming ... next up Fyreslayers ( Dwarf ) color test model !

5 more Chaos Marauders join the fight ...

Today I finished the 5 remaining Chaos Marauders on my paint table.

I made 1 with axe and shield and the other 4 with 2 handed weapons ( conversions ).

 And a group picture of the 8 that are finished.

Now the paint table is empty and ready for the Age of Sigmar starter box that I bought a few days ago. Can't wait to start on them. I finished these first otherwise they would have been pushed back and waiting for a while.

Another 2 Chaos Marauders finished !

Today I finished another 2 Chaos Marauders.

2 Axemen with shields. And I altered the other 5 Marauders that where on my bench. I wasn't happy with them. They're now 4 Marauders with two handed axes and maces and another one with axe & shield.

Chaos Marauder Champion finished !

After the Dwarf Quarrelers I started on some Chaos Marauders. I have built 8 so far and primed them black and today I finished the test-model for the colors. This will become a group of 16 , just like the Chaos warriors. These 8 are just standard built with axes and other one hand weapons and shields of course. The other 8 will be with 2-handed weapons that are converted with weapons of the Marauder horsemen box. The model is also magnetized like the Chaos warriors.

This was a start to increase my Chaos army , because they're about to grow with the arrival of the new starter-set : Age of Sigmar ! ( My copy is already ordered ! )
