MASA...memang tidak ada...

"Maaf saya tidak ada masa". Itulah antara jawapan yang sering kita terima atau berikan apabila diajak atau ditawarkan untuk melakukan ibadah atau perkara yang baik serta bermanfaat..

Cuba renungkan sabda atau petikan kata nabi dan ulama ni

*Dunia itu hanya tiga hari sahaja; kelmarin yang telah lampau berlalu tidak ada apa-apa lagi, esok yang engkau akan hadapi, masih menjadi tanda tanya dan hari ini yang sedang engkau berada ambillah kesempatan sebaiknya..

*Dunia ini hanya tiga saat. Satu saat telah lewat, satu saat engkau sedang alami dan satu saat lagi engkau tidak tahu apakah engkau boleh samapai atau tidak. Oleh kerana itu sebenarnya yang engkau miliki hanya satu saat sahaja, kerana maut itu datang dari saat ke saat..

Maka antara ketiga-tiga tempoh itu, masa kini yang sedang dinikmati adalah yang paling berharga kerana ia berada dalam genggaman. Masa kini menjadi detik penentu; adakah ia akan berlalu menjadi kenangan manis atau penyesalan yang pahit. Masa kini juga jadi taruhan adakah masa hadapan bakal menjadi kenyataan atau hanya tinggal khayalan dan angan-angan.

Jadi, kalau boleh kata-kata "no time" jangan la selalu kita gunakan sebagai alasan untuk menangguh kerja terutamanya kerja-kerja kebajikan. Mungkin kena tukar kepada "make time" agaknye..

Alamak...paper belum abis mark lagi..adoi..sapa nak tolong? (especially kpd sahabat tu yg dah siap mark tuh..). ada 192 skrip jawapan nih! Minggu depan dah nak raya lak..

Hanya Ibu Yang Tahu

Banduan

Al kisah..berlaku Rabu lepas, dengan semangatnye bersiap-siap nak g klcc untuk konferen BioMalaysia hari kedua..So lepas dah siapkan Wajihah untuk hantar nursery, bukak le pintu nak keluar. Tapi malangnya bila cari kunci pintu tak jumpa. Baru aku teringat tak bawak keluar dari kereta semalam..Hubby dah kunci grill masa dia keluar subuh tu. Adoi! macam mana nak keluar? Cari lak hand phone..konon nak call hubby or sapa-sapa yang dekat untuk mintak tolong. Alamak..tak jumpa jugak. Takde!! Takkan nak menjerit mintak tolong lak. Akhirnya aku dan Wajihah merasa la jadi banduan. Duduk le kami dalam rumah tak boleh keluar. Nampak gayanye kena tunggu sampai hubby balik baru boleh bukak pintu. Terfikir jugak kalau la jadi apa-apa, macam mana la nak lari..bahaya betoi! Memang bagi pengajaran..
Moralnya..jaga la kunci selalu ;-)

Looking back..

To all my friends..(especially who work as a lecturer or scientist)

Your period of bachelor/postgraduate study is over, your thesis is complete, papers are written and the degree awarded...

Take a moment to reflect on this phase of your life, and try to remember the person you were when you came to the lab. Realize just how many skills and new abilities you have acquired, largely through your own efforts. Recognize the role of your supervisor in this transformation.

And now you may find yourself working in a institution/lab in which new graduate students are just starting out. Recall all the lessons that you learned the hard way, and try to help these new students to avoid making the same mistakes. But don't give them answer. Offer advice that allows them to analyse the problem and provide their own solutions.

I believed, this is the way you developed-do not deny them the same experience!

* I'm thinking of this after met a number of young scientist who do their summer attachment at this deparment. I can see their interest and potential. Macam mana la student2 ku yang ku tinggalkan yer..? Dah siap keje? Minggu depan saya balik tau..hehe. Hope we as seniors can guide the juniors to achieve their excellence in sciences..

Miss U Baby

• I've received this video from my sister this morning
• It was recorded last Saturday, on their way to attend a wedding ceremony
• Becoknye si kenit ni.. Ntah apa-2 dia cakap..
• This is an example of new generation, baru setahun jagung dah pandai bergaya bercakap di telefon walaupun pegang hp terbalik..hehe
• Nasib baik dia tak nangis ikut 'mak nyah' nye berjalan walaupun ummi dan abahnye takde
• Anyway, TQ sis! Hilang rindu rasanye..

Yummy....

Dah 3 minggu jadi perantau ni.. Dah muak lak makan makanan segera. Nak makan makanan di sini pun sama jugak, tak berapa lalu rasanye. So kami dapat tahu daripada kawan2 di sini ada beberapa kedai yang terletak di Mill Road menjual makanan halal dan barang2 dari negara ku tercinta.

So apa lagi lepas habis keje di lab, dengan berbekalkan peta, saya & Puan Tod mula berjalan kaki ke kawasan tu. Kami berhenti dulu makan di restoran 'Chicken Cottage'. Kedai ni menyajikan makanan ala KFC..ada ayam goreng, burger dll. So kami pilih makan ayam goreng. Bestnye rasa! Dah rindu nak makan di KFC (sori xde gambar sbb kusyuk makan.. ;-)

Bila dah dapat tenaga kami terus ke kedai Al-Amin & Cho Mee yang tak jauh dari restoran tu. Di Al-Amin kami dapat beli ayam yang halal dan perencah tomyam. Di Cho Mee lak kami beli kicap kipas udang dan perencah nasi goreng. Tauke Cho Mee ni orang Malaysia, kedainye agak unik di samping barang2 dari Malaysia, kedai tu di bahagi kepada beberapa seksyen menjual barang mengikut negara Asean seperti Thailand, Filipina dll.

Harga barang jangan convert la. If convert tak sanggup nak beli..Cth, kicap kipas udang ni harganye 1.28 pound, perencah nasi goreng & tomyam 42 pence. Pejam mata je la..

Dengan barang2 tu dapat la kami bertukar selera..Menu hari ni Ayam goreng special & Tomyam udang dengan brokoli

Alhamdulillah....

Raja buah

Dah la masih risau pada diorang di rumah tuh..my hubby tak g keje arini, demam & sakit kepala. Si kenit tu pun dah mula selsema. Makan, minum pun tak tentu bila dah tak sihat..

Tiba-tiba my sister hantar gambar-gambar ni lak..saja nak bagi jealous lah nih, dia balik kampung makan durian

Takpe, Insyaallah dalam dua minggu ni durian tu tak luruh sangat so sempat la balik makan durian.. ;-)

Teringat lak lagu Mr. Os... jom nyanyi....

Oh kome, doyan udah loroh,

Moh kita, cepat pegi suluh,

Sunshine

Today is the real summer !!

The sun shine brightly..very beautiful weather even at 8pm as you can see in the last picture..

but not for me, as I'm felt so sad after called my hubby & daughter and I was told that both of them are not feeling well and lately my baby keep calling ummi or maa when she cry..:-(

I don't know what to say now..pity, guilty etc...

if I can fly sure I'll fly home but I can't! the only I can do is,

just pray for their wellness and happiness

Punting in Cambridge

Last Saturday, we spend our time for punting
A punt is a flat-bottomed boat which does not have a keel, and is propelled by means of a long pole

Punts is one of the most popular ways to see the famous bridges and colleges along the shallow River Cam

We can choose from taking a tour with a guide or hiring a punt for ourselves but we decided to use the guider to make sure we can enjoy the beautiful view along the river because the Cam goes through the heart of Cambridge and passes close to many very attractive old college buildings. At the same time the guider gave some information about the history of the colleges, bridges and any attraction along the river.

Since it was Saturday, the narrow stretch of the river congested with the tourist and caused collisions between inexperienced punters. What ever happen, all of us still with our camera and try to to give the best pose on the punt and snap all the beautiful view! hehe

This college quite near to the department, about 10-15 minutes walking distance
It is situated next to the famous college in Cambridge, known as King's College
Also near to the city centre, where we can buy what ever we want with discounted price ! Dugaan...
