November was NaGaDeMon (National Game Design Month), and I decided to create an Action Horror RPG using my system (updated with all the modifications of Solar Blades & Cosmic Spells). Inspired by Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Supernatural, X-Files, The Chilling Tales of Sabrina, Grimm and many more TV Shows, comics and books, I quickly worte Dark Streets & Darker Secrets . It is written in a very direct and simple way, similar to Sharp Swords & Sinister Spells originally was, but with uodated rules and a lot of tools and tables to assist the Referee in creating adventures, NPCs, locations, artifacts, monsters and much more. The book itself will eventually be release in partnership with Gallant Knight Games , but the text is already written and ready to be used, so I am sharing it here with you all! It was my first crowdfunding campaign by my own (we made one for the Brazilian version of Sharp Swords & Sinister Spells to pay for a print run and some other stuff), and so far I am really happy with it (even though the currency exchange is quite bad for me, as I receive less for the dollar than I pay for it). Anyway, one of the last goals of the project was to release a artless version of the game for free too, to make the game more accessible and easy to use. Today's post is going to be a quick one. I really like making my own character sheets for the games I play. For some reason, the standard character sheets games usually have don't speak to me. They seem too, standardized, too regular, too "normal". I don't know. So, loving DCC RPG the way I love it, I made my own character sheet for it. Completely hand drawn, the sheet allows the use of any class, even those created by 3rd parties (aren't those fun?). So just click on the image above and get this character sheet.
