Canon Photomarathon 2009

First time join the photography competition since i get my 1st DSRL, but really learn lots for this competition, you can see everyone had their own style or idea to capture their creativity photo. Of course i see a lots of photographer's passion, someone will ask me why i go canon's photomarathon? Some more pay Rm30.

Reason:
1. Is happy that hangout with a gang of friends which love photographing
2. Experience, with mean learning from each other, sharing idea.
3. RM30 is not a problem for me ...lolx...
Experience from the competition:
1. Camera setting and sense of alert need to be ready always to capture a precious moment's photo.
2. Sense, sense and sense, searching the correct feeling.
3. Passionate and be patient for waiting a precious moment.
4. Passionate , skill and camera is a very important tools to create a great photo :) Because no edit /touch up is allow during the competition, all is real skill :P

Theme 1 : Splash
This one is the most panic theme, totally no idea where and how to search the feeling of the photo. Because everyone is shooting at the same position, you need to make you photo look different than others.

Theme 2 : Red
I spot this accidently then i shoot it, but the photo is blur because i am still not ready the setting , but i like the expression , it was very natural :P
Theme 3: Shooting in progress
This one is most easy because you can get this photo everywhere :P

60 Earth Hour

60 Earth hour is a very good event for this year. We need to take action on global warming. I quite suprise that everyone of my friends are support this meaningful events. Even someone close off his light in his house, and frighten his dog.

So what i did on that hour?Switch off my pc and unuse electric and move my ass went to KLCC for shooting. During the way to KLCC, my friend was calling me and ask me where i am, this is the conversation.

HM: Hello , uncle, where are you now??
Me : I am on the way driving to KLCC..
HM: Do u switch off your car's headlight?
Me: Harrr...what the....*@#$%^%

Wahh...really dark!
Even the KLCC is off the light. ( no bring tripod....hahah so is blur )
Wahhhhhaha...i able to make the star effect~ thanks to my si fu again!

Asimo at One Utama

Today asimo will be visiting OneUtama, some of my friends has asking me who is asimo, i just tell them that asimo is a singer~hahaha.... then only they found out is a robot..

This is asimo~ some evolution of the technology nowdays~ASIMO stand for "Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility". My boss say there should be a Human hiding inside and act as robot :D , what the .....
We went to visit during lunch time, whaoo... many people :D
Here come the cute little robot :D, i think she/he is a girl, because her voice is like a cute little girl. Can speak Malay and english.

Yoyo...thanks for the invitation from John aka Miao for the awesome event. Quite sorry to him, because i was attending my friend wedding dinner, and i cannot make it on time. And i was late for the event. Really sorry again, i should buy you a dinner next time.
So i reach there around 11pm :D , thanks for joshua for the VIP parking sticker too. I feel so cool when i drive my old car and enter to the main gate :D , you should tell me early ma, i borrow BMW from someone ,LOLX

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2008

金狗標，金狗標，金狗噢的喂。。Yeah, still got 14 hour for Christmas Eve count down. But i still working at office. Someone very lonely here, because all my team member either onleave or fly back to their "base". Boring betul, totally no mood to work. Sienzzz...

This year feel abit lonely... no idea how to celebrate christmas and where to go at christmas eve too. Just post some shopping center's decoration to make myself able to feel the Christmas is coming.

One Utama, Theme is about "Band", very nice, the drummer can move his head to right to left, left to right. haha.. I almost meet him twist a day. During the way walk to my offfice, and the way go to car park after work.


Guess where? Yeah. Pavilion, not sure what is the theme. but the white Christmas tree look great.

So far, that all the shopping center that i go , not sure Mid valley, The curve and etc, what is the decoration about. Start feel lazy to explore all the shopping center , traffic jam, hard to find car park.

New year 2008 is coming soon, any wish?? hmmm...
1. Wish all my family and friends healthy always. Opss, include myself.
2. All go smooth on my career.
3. Travel to some county to my holiday, if can, i will try backpack, anyone interest?
4. Earn and save more money, so i can change my stupid hp and maybe brought myself a lappie(Laptop, i saw lowyat.net forum, they call their laptop call lappie..)
5. Relationship? Of course, i wish to get more friend ; Love? hmm...depend on fate. I will more focus on career, i m enjoy of single life :)
6. Importance is , continue life with happiness and meaningful~

A single Dream. A world of Hope by Terry Fox

Yeah, I just went back from the run, a heavy traffic jam at Lake Garden in the morning. You can see many categories of people, kids, family, teenagers, and older citizen (Chinese, Malay, Indian and Foreign) are coming for the run.

"People mountain people sea" around the area. So we start the run around 9am after doing some body warm up exercise. Honestly is hard for us to make a run, most of the people in 'jogging' at the beginning point, I only do a speed up after a walk about 500m.

The short route is 3.2km for children, you can take challenge for 6km as a tribute to their loved ones (whose lives was claimed prematurely by cancer).

So i totally took about 40 min for the 6km run ( Because in the begining , i am jogging, not running).

There is an email that send by the Terry Fox Run KL Committees about cancer.

I would like to share this nice piece of article by Dr Albert Lim (source: www.malaysiaoncology.org):

Remember too, cancer do not discriminate! If good fortune permits, I will be updating you again in Terry Fox Run 2008! So till then!

I will going the run for next year again. And encourage your friend stop smoking to prevent cancer looking for you. :D

Terry Fox Run 2007

Anyone going for this charity organization? My 1st run in my life for charity :D

Date of The Run: 4th November 2007
Flag Off: 9 am
Venue: Taman Tasik Perdana (Lake Gardens)

Rules & Regulations:1) All participants must run on the designated route2) For wheelchair bound, and physically challenged participants, please note that there are slopes along the run route.3) Participants are to be at the assembly area by 8:45am.

The price for the T-Shirt (all sizes) is RM 25.00 per piece. Of course, extra donation is welcomed!

The Terry Fox Run has been held in Malaysia for over 15 years. The Runs since 2001 have raised more than RM750,000/-, with 2006’s contribution being RM281,000.
The Terry Fox Run is a non-competitive event for the whole family, with a large number of participants under the age of 10 and over the age of 50. Two routes are being planned, one for fun-runners and another for experienced runners. Cyclists and roller-bladers are welcome.
To take part in the run, just append your details in the comment section with your name, organization, t-shirt size and no of participant!
IMPORTANT: The pre-registration process is very important so that the Organizer can estimate the number of T-shirts to be printed. So, you can greatly help the organizer with their estimation by pre-registering here!

History of Terry Fox

I don’t feel that this is unfair. That’s the thing about cancer. I’m not the only one, it happens all the time to people. I’m not special. This just intensifies what I did. It gives it more meaning. It’ll inspire more people. I just wish people would realise that anything’s possible if you try; dreams are made possible if you try.” – Terry Fox (1958-1981)

Terry Fox was 18 years old when he was diagnosed with bone cancer. His right leg was amputated above the knee. Whilst in hospital, Terry was so moved by the suffering of cancer patients, particularly children, that he resolved to run across Canada (a distance of 8,500 kilometers) to raise money for cancer research. He called his journey the “Marathon of Hope”.
Terry Fox, an amputee, ran a marathon (42 kilometers) a day for 143 consecutive days - a total distance of 5,373 kilometers. At that stage, Terry was forced to abandon his run as the cancer spread to his lungs. Terry Fox died at the tender age of 21. Before he died, he knew that a fund-raising event would be held each year, with the same objectives as the Marathon of Hope - to help find a cure for cancer.
Since 1981, the Terry Fox Run has raised more than RM1.3 billion in aid of cancer research around the world.
The Terry Fox run is organized by a volunteer committee comprising individuals and representatives of institutions. All members of the organizing committee are not paid. Institutions supporting the Terry Fox Run include various embassies & high commissions, schools, colleges and universities, companies, statutory bodies, non-profit organizations and sports clubs.

FASHION ON 1” 2007 at One Utama

Last saturday , i has been date with my pretty friend, foong yee who take part of the event and invite me to attend the "FASHION ON 1” 2007 at One Utama.

I think this is the first time of my life to watch such a great fashion show, because usually i watch in tv only. However i do miss the 'woman secret' show on saturday 4pm, because unable to find a parking at One U. No chance to see the "free" show.

Most of the model is from russian. Totally cant believe it , they are totally tall, great body shape, blue eyes and fair. Totally just like a babe dolls. There is some malay and chinese model also. And i meet the companion of the TV reality show " I want to be model", he was cool and handsome, 190 cm tall than me 7cm only.Why he can be model, but i cant ? *crying....
