last friday,a friend of mine went travelling by herself.she came to my house asking for advice about stockholm and with a map of stockholm i gave her off she went.a.l.o.n.e!she took a flight to oslo and then hop on the bus to stockholm that evening.arrived the next day,spent half-a-day in the capital city of sweden and took another bus back to oslo that very night.the next day she took a flight back to dublin.now she's safe and sound here as i just got a call from her.from her voice i could tell she really had a great time in the scandinavian countries.hats off!it's not easy tau nk travel sorang2.sebut stockholm,rasa nk senyum sorang-sorang.ah,kenangan.

exam is just around the corner.plenty to read and do.however pada saat ini jugak the urge to blog is at it's peak.so to be fair,i would like to fulfill what i've promised before,the continuation of stockholm syndrome.although he's in malaysia already i still nak smbg tulih gak.takpa la no.hehe.okies this time we talk about vasa museum.this is a place where in my opinion every tourist should go.i was stunned by the huge viking ship that was discovered i think in 1952 and evacuated 10 years later.saya ni buta sket lah kan about vikings ni but since incik ichigo ada,he told me everything from a-z and indirectly i had a free tour guide on what vikings do,how the lived and so on.let's have a look:

stockholm syndrome.epi 3 (money is not everything)

hello everyone.we're safely home=)home sweet home.no matter how good another place is,nothing feels like home.penat sudah tentu.nk kata jet lag tipulah sgt(time difference = an hour ahead from dublin) tapi mengapa asek mengantuk dr smp tdi?we touched down around quater to 12 at noon.then headed straight home.both of us were exhausted.

the flight was at half ten in the morning.since the city of stockholm is about 80 mins from the airport,we have to leave hostel around 6.15am on foot to the bus terminal to take 7am airport coach to skavsta airport.as we were walking there was a taxi at the traffic light who honked at us.we raised our hands as a sign that we were fine walking.the taxi continously honking us asking us to just jump in the taxi.it turned out that the taxi driver is a muslim from algeria and he actually gave us a free lift to the bus terminal.we got in the taxi and by looking at our panic stricken faces,he knew that we afraid he would charge us for the ride(dah la kami tgal 150kronor je=1.50euro).but later he told us he's just helping his brother and sister is ISLAM because he pitied us walking in cold weather.he mentioned money is not everything.dia siap bwk to the closest gate to the airport coach.before we left,he just asked for one thing,to send him dua'.we will.definately.

today incik ichigo is soooo kind to cook for yours truly.at first he told me to cook at home as he's tired to go out again.then at the city centre to change bus,he said"we mkn luaq je la.sian awak nk masak"."tapi saya nak mkn nasik"i answered.pastu kena jln jauh.then we decided to go home and cook the easiest meal like fried rice.balik2,i think he was so starving rebus 2 packets of maggi mee,one for me and one for him.and later this afternoon,dia goreng nasik goreng jugak for dinner.it might be a simple dinner but it meant a lot to me.maybe sbb saya kata nk mkn nasik jugak.heeee......=)))))thanx awak.

stockholm syndrome-epi.2 (museums are everywhere)

mood:mixed.happy to be here yet a bit down sbb esok nk balik dublin

for those who love museums and art not forgeting architecture,do come to stockholm.this is the place whére you can find museums and art galleries every 100 metres.for people who appreciate interior design like moi....u'll be happy to find so many shops and places where the interior designs are actually the main thing that invites u in.so modern and minimalist kinda way.swedes definately have good taste.

had a good time shopping.nothing extravagant,yours truly just bought souvenirs to be brought home.incik ichigo did a lot of shopping though.the old town which is just a stone throw away from the hostels really has lots to offer.from souvenirs shops to fine restaurants,it took almost a day to cover them all.but the most enjoyable thing as usual is photography.i love taking many pictures of him at the old-fashioned streets around the old town.and for the first time he wasn't reluctant to pose and do as what i instructed him to.hehe.

tomorrow dah nk balik dublin.sedey=( all in all,i have fun.if i have a chance,i would certainly come here again and revisit the places i'd been together with the memories left this time.so kena kerja kuat-kuat lepas nie and save as much money as i possibly can.

haha,tukaq sket format menulis.we are freezing with the temp pada takat beku.sungai dan laut diselimuti ais.no joke.while crossing the bridge to the other side of stockholm,i was telling incik ichigo that sesiapa yang terslip or purposely buat summersault ke dlm air sungai atau laut tu confirm akn mati..bukan sbb drowning tp hypothermia dulu kot.well....too many assumptions for today.tapi berjalan berdua pada takat beku di mlm hari bersama lampu-lampu dan deruan air sungai mnderu deras sambil melihat kanak-kanak meluncur ais (sebenarnya nk cari kedai kebab,lapaq!)adalah sgt romantic dan menenangkan.heheh.selain membebel dan berjalan seperti robot,tiada lagi yang mampu dibuat(apatah lae menda bukan-bukan).nk amek gambaq pun mlas.sejuk hingga ke tulang.tapi....stockholm sgt cantik,tertarik dan deboom!sgt cantik suasana nya.susah nk explain but this place definately is at the same level as swiss,but with slightly different atmosphere.the ambience is....calming.and...and...apalah makna sesuatu tempat jika tempat shoppingnya tak happenin' kan?i was drooling walking along rows of shops along the street.malangnya sesampainya kami untuk 'mengambil bau' nk bershopping kedai pun tutup.hukhuk.tidak mengapa.esok masih ada.hihihi.

okies.got to go sleep.esok nk pi bus tour and boat excursion around the famous archipelagos.

owh before i end,the viking ship is seriously amazing and cool!!!!!!
