The odds were against us.....

but, IT'S A GIRL!!!!! Aaron and I are both really surprised and he doesn't quite know what to think, but I am extremely EXCITED!!! I would of course been happy with either but I was kind of hoping for a girl!

Wedding

Last weekend we went up to Dahlonega, Ga (North Ga) for one of Aaron's high school friend's wedding. Aaron was a groomsmen and we had a lot of fun. We got to leave Bryan home with Grandma and Papa and so it was just us. Here are just a couple pictures. Aaron looked so cute in his tux!

Halloween

So as you can see, Bryan was a giraffe for Halloween. The pictures that I have are not that great because he didn't want to pose for me but he did like his costume. We took him trick or treating and at first he was pretty scared. Pretty soon though, he realized that when he went to the door he got candy, so then he liked it, except for the couple people that were dressed up at the door. He didn't care for that much. We had a fun night!!!

I think that I am finally over the hump of morning sickness! I haven't felt very sick for a few days (well morning sickness, I have had a cold and cough)! Hopefully I am not speaking too soon, but finally, maybe I can start enjoying this a little more. Good news, I have an appt. on November 21 to have a sonogram, so we can then find out what the gender is. I know it is still 3 weeks away, but I want to know what everyone's prediction is. BOY or GIRL????

Bryan went to the bathroom in the toilet!

We are not officially starting to potty train Bryan yet, but maybe we should if he keeps doing it this well. Aaron was putting him in the bath yesterday and took off his diaper, Bryan immediately grabbed himself and said "oh no". Aaron was like, "what, what is wrong". Bryan says "poo poo". So Aaron put him on the toilet just to see what would happen, well Bryan went pee and then grabbed some toilet paper, put it in the toilet and flushed the toilet. Aaron was really excited and congratulated and praised him for a few minutes. Then, Aaron put him in the bath and a few min. later, again Bryan said "poo poo," so Aaron put him back on the toilet and again Bryan went pee, put some toilet paper in the toilet and flushed it. This time, Bryan knew that he had done a good thing and gave thumbs up and was yelling "yayyyyyy"! It was too funny!

Bryan's 2nd Birthday!

Bryan's Birthday was on Sun., October 5th. He turned 2!! We had Aaron's family over for lunch and cake. The pictures are a little out of order, but I am sure that you can get the point. When we sang Happy Birthday to him, he got a little scared I guess and started to cry, but he quickly calmed down and blew out the candles. Then, after he had a few bites of cake, we tried to take it from him so he could open birthday presents. Well, he wasn't done with cake and got a little mad (it had already been a long day and he had missed his nap).



















He got some new cars from Katie (Ricky's girlfriend), a new soccer ball and a basketball hoop with a ball from Grandma and Papa in Georgia. He also got a new toy box from Grandma and Papa in California. He loved them all and was really excited!!!

Bradley is in the MTC

Well Bradley left for the MTC on October 1st. So he has been there for a week now! We will all miss him very much!

Good News

Well, I am sure that most of you know now, and if you didn't know before, than my post of being sick in California might have given you an idea..... I am pregnant again!!!! I am about 10 weeks along and due on April 16th. Bryan will be 2 1/2 and Aaron will be finishing school so we think that it is perfect timing and we are pretty excited! Now if I can just get past this morning sickness....

California Trip

Ok, here are finally some pictures of our trip to California. Bryan had a lot of fun and got to know his California grandma and grandpa a lot better!

Change of Plans

My mom and I got in the car today to take the 2 hour drive to LAX and we got around the corner and I had to throw up. So, I did my business and we continued on. We got about 45 min. down the freeway and I kept feeling sick and I had to throw up again. I have been feeling sick this whole trip and I was really worried about this flight today. When I flew out here in the beginning, I was also sick, but luckily I didn't have to take care of Bryan. So, my mom called the airline and they were willing to change my flight to next Tuesday the 16th and my mom is going to fly home with to help with Bryan. Then she will be staying with us for a week! So I will be staying in California for one more week. We were really getting excited to see Aaron, but we will be with him soon!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Bryan and I have been in California for two weeks, but we come back tomorrow. So I will post a few pictures in a couple days!! We are excited to go home and see Daddy!

Bryan loves his Dad

As many of you probably know, Aaron's car is quite loud. Bryan has now learned the sound of his car and when Aaron comes home, Bryan knows. If Bryan is downstairs when Aaron comes home, he will run to the front door, yelling "Da Da". If Bryan is upstairs in his room playing (when he is supposed to be sleeping), then I can hear him in the monitor, he gets so excited and starts yelling "Da Da". Well the other day, Aaron came home and I could hear Bryan get excited in the monitor. Aaron got out of his car and started walking up to the door, he happened to look up at Bryan's window and this is what he found.

It is kind of hard to see, but Bryan's little head is looking out the window at his dad. He got past the curtains and the blinds and discovered that he can see out front when his dad comes home. Aaron told me to come out and look and so when I walked out, Bryan started yelling "Ma Ma". He is so funny!!!

Bryan and Sophie

Yesterday we had the Jenkins' over for lunch after church. Aaron's brother, Ricky, brought his girlfriend Katie. Katie has the cutest little dog, Sophie. Bryan just loves Sophie. He was having so much fun playing with her. Sophie started grabbing Bryan's bear and he loved trying to get it back from her. He started throwing it down on the floor in front of Sophie so she would grab it and then he would try to get it back. It was really fun!





Then this morning, I put Bryan in his highchair to eat breakfast and I went to the computer for a min. When I put him in his chair, I didn't buckle him in and this is what I found when I went to get him.

Bryan's new word

So the newest thing that Bryan is saying now is, Amen. When we say nightly prayers with him, he kneels down with us and at the end he says, Amen. Yesterday at church, at the end of Sacrament he said it as well. Too cute!

Once again, this is what I found when I checked on Bryan yesterday while he was taking his nap!

We went to the laser show at Stone Mountain last Friday. We had so much fun. Bryan was a little scared when the laser show first started, but then he warmed up. We went with the Jenkins' family and Grandpa Johnny bought Bryan a glow necklace. He LOVED it. He is still playing with it at home!

So, Bryan is in a big boy bed now. The transition was pretty easy and when it is time to go to bed, he doesn't really have a problem at all. Sometime when I put him down for a nap though, he will get up and play. So this afternoon I took him upstairs and put him in his bed. I was listening through the monitor and he did get up to play. After a few minutes though, I didn't hear anything. I went into check on him, and this is what I found.
