Jenna

We have been in California for a little over a week now and we are having a lot of fun!! Jenna is crawling everywhere and starting to climb a little. She climbed up on the end table, which is seen in the next two pictures. Jenna has also gotten her first tooth. It has broken through the gums and is about halfway in.


In these next two pictures, she climbed up on the shelf on the ottoman.

These next two are actually of Jenna before we left. We came in to get her after a nap and this is how we found her.

A couple weeks ago was Jenna's first time eating solids. She didn't care for it at first (like most babies) but she warmed up a little after a few bites. I can't believe that she is already over 6 months now. Time goes by too fast! She is such a sweet girl and we are so happy to have her in our little family.






One day we had just gotten home and we were trying to bring stuff in from the car and Jenna started to get fussy, so Bryan grabbed this bottle out of my purse and started feeding Jenna. He just wanted to help! He also did that the other night...I had made a bottle but I wanted to wait till Jenna was actually hungry, so I decided to vacuum while I waited. Well of course, right after I started, she started to fuss but I wanted to finish real quick. Bryan went and grabbed the bottle and starting feeding her before I could!

Potty Training

Bryan has been potty trained for about a month now with only a couple accidents. He has done really well with it! We have still been putting pull-ups on him at night though. Well last night, Aaron went to put it on him and he said "no Dada, I don't want to wear a biaper (that is how he says it)". So Aaron made sure that he knew that if he had to go to the bathroom during the night that he needed to open his door and go to the bathroom. This morning he woke up at about 6:15, went into the bathroom, went pee pee and there were no accidents in his bed! Hopefully this continues and we keep having good nights.

Halloween

We had quite a scary dinosaur on our hands for Halloween. Bryan absolutely loved his costume. All day he kept sneaking up on Aaron and I saying "Roar". He was so cute! Jenna was a little ladybug and it was very sweet.

Bryan and the water bottles

This is a picture of Bryan and Jenna that Aaron's parents took. It is one of the best pictures of both them together that has been taken so far. Bryan 3 years old, Jenna 6 months old.



A couple days ago we bought some water from Costco, we brought it home and put it in front of the fridge. Before Aaron or I could get to it, Bryan said he wanted to do it and he started putting the water in the fridge. What was the best part was that he stacked them exactly the same way we do it.

Random pictures and the Zoo

We got tickets to the Zoo from a very sweet family that used to be in our ward so Aaron and I took the kids today. We had a very nice day and Bryan loved all the animals. It is so fun watching him walk around and look at all the animals saying "WOOK"!!










Here are just some random pictures of Bryan and Jenna. This first picture...see Bryan in the background climbing on the couch and Jenna being the happy girl that she is. Jenna is pretty much crawling now. She definitely gets where she wants to go.

Bryan's Birthday and Bowling

Today is Bryan's 3rd birthday. I can't believe that it has been 3 years. He is such a joy in our lives. Bryan is such a good boy! We have been so blessed. We actually celebrated his birthday on Sat. because Aaron is in St. Louis this week. We had dinner, cake and presents. He wasn't too excited for dinner but once the cake was brought out, he perked right up! Here are some pictures from the past couple days. Warning: there are a lot of pictures!

Bryan didn't want to wait for the cake to be cut. He dug right in!

The next 3 pictures of Bryan are with his presents from Gran Gran and Papa (Aaron's parents) and Aunt Elizabeth and Uncle Ricky. He got a Spiderman Memory game, Hi Ho Cherry-O game and a Zoom-O catch game.






Bryan’s present from Ma and Papa (my parents) came in the mail today. He was so excited to open another present. It is a leap frog “My First Computer”. He loved it!





We went bowling tonight with the Jenkins'. It was a lot of fun and Bryan loved it. He has been telling me the past couple days that he wanted to go bowling (he saw it on t.v.) and then ironically, my mother-in-law, Donna called today and asked if we wanted to go. Bryan was quite excited!
