Some Odd Girl Round Three...

So I am through to Round Three of Odd Idol over on Some Odd Girl. Blind voting is taking place over on the SOG Forum for everyone who has joined....I cannot tell you which card is mine obviously, but Myself and the other contestants would appreciate your vote!

Some Odd Girl - Odd Idol

So here is the first card I made for the Some Odd Girl - Odd Idol contest. I decided to make a larger A5 card and not my usual square card.

The main image is called Forest Friend Fairy an I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E15/E17/E18/E19
Eyes - B21/B66
Clothing - YG00/YG01/YG03/YG05
Bird - B000/B00/B01/B02
The papers are all October Afternoon Woodland Park and I added a piece of cream Bazzill cardstock, a chipboard sentiment from the same OA range and also a Craftwork Cards sentiment tag attached with twine.

I am pleased to say I am through to Round Three and voting for that starts in a day or so....I will add a link, but voting is BLIND so you will not know which one is mine...unless you think you can recognise my style!

Some Odd Girl - Odd Idol!!!

Well after my break from crafting/card making at the beginning of this year, I thought I would throw myself into a little challenge over on Some Odd Girl. Kristy is having a contest...ODD IDOL, and I am pleased to say that there were over 60 entries in round one, and Kristy and her DT chose their Top 20....and I made it through to ROUND TWO....

So here is the card that got me through ROUND ONE...

Cute Card Thursday - Something Blue!

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday our theme is Something Blue. For my card I have use one of the Some Odd Girl images called Coy Kaylee which I have coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E44/E47/E49
Clothing - B29/B91/B93/B95/B97/Y32
The papers are all Teresa Collins Everyday Moments which I have layered with some SU cardstock. I added a little damask stamp that I got at Hobbycraft for £1 to to the edge of the main image and a Hero Arts sentiment stamp and some bling to finish off.

Sure feels nice to me making some cards and joining in again...and a little DT rest for the first part of the year...and now I am back!!!! Go check it out...this weeks prize is from Whiff of Joy....HERE.
