2. At 5 months, Caleb is 16 pounds, 10 and a half ounces and is in the 56th percentile.
3. Caleb is 26 inches long and in the 58th percentile for height.
4. So our little Caleb boy loves to bounce and be loud. He seems to love the bouncer and will bounce and jump happily for a good while. He also likes to bounce in our laps while holding him. He also seems to love to screech. He is so loud sometimes. When he's upset, he screeched angrily and in the mornings when he's awake, he can be happy but starts screeching loud and happily until someone picks him up.
5. He is still a heavy spitter upper. :P He definitely loves to get me covered in spit up right at the most inconvenient times. I let a sister hold him for me for a couple minutes during Relief Society and he managed to spit up all over her skirt, I felt pretty bad, but she was really nice and calm about it. :P I carry a receiving blanket around with me to catch spit up cuz it covers more area than a small burp cloth.
6. Caleb is cosleeping with us. It's our own fault, we haven't really tried to get him to sleep in the play pen. Seth is still sleeping in the crib (toddler bed) and he falls asleep really easily and quickly when I lay down with him. For naps and bed time, I just lay down next to him swaddled and with a paci and he usually falls asleep right away. Sometimes I still need to nurse him to sleep. He sleeps pretty well through the night, I usually have to feed him once or twice. But he also still wakes up super early or in the middle of the night to poop. Can't wait for that to stop... :P
8. We think Caleb must be a little sensitive to loud noises or craziness. He has started crying uncontrollably sometimes and it seems like it comes out of nowhere, but it tends to happen when we're visiting family and there's a lot of noises or excitement or when I've been nursing him and I have to yell something to one of the other kids in the other room. I'm not even upset, I think it's just the surprise he doesn't like, and he gets overwhelmed or something.
