Break-a-leg Haleigh

Haleigh was in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs play. She had many roles. The one she is in costume here for is the raven who betrays Snow White by showing the witch where she was hiding. She did great!

The picture w/ Noah is him embarrassed because he just gave Haleigh her flowers and the girl across from him said, "Oh how sweet!"

Free Bowling!

We had a coupon for up to 10 to go bowling for free (plus the cost of shoes). So we invited a few friends and went on a day that the kids had off from school! Ended up other people had the same idea and they ran out of shoes, so they got to bowl for FREE in their own shoes.

Kalli 5 mos.

Isn't she lovely?

A Frog in my house!

I see this grown man hopping around in the front yard on all fours trying to get something....a FROG! I told him, Matt, not to bring it in the house. Does he listen? No! A Frog in my house. And not, a small one. A HUGE one! ehhhhh! ;) The kids loved it! Then they let it go in the back to hopefully hop to a new home.

Slide at Cox Farms

Cox Farms

The BEST pumpkin patch/Fall festival I have ever seen! Has great slides (for adults too!), cider, hayrides, rope-swings, hay-tunnels, picture-opps...etc!!!

We went here on Oct. 22nd, 2007 w/ Auntie Heather! Too fun!

Doesn't Noah's expression w/ Auntie say it all?

Surprise visit from Auntie Heather!!!

Heather came for the weekend!!! (Thanks Uncle Mike for sharing her w/ us!) We started the visit w/ a late night drive home on Friday night from DCA. She spoiled Melissa on Saturday, her birthday. We went for a beautiful drive in the mountains to see the Fall Foliage after church on Sunday. She took probably 100 pictures of us (picky viewers). Thanks Heath! That night, she made Awesome salsa, as well as other yummy Mexican food!!! Monday we went to Cox Farms w/ the kids. I took them out of school because they hadn't seen Auntie in 2 yrs.! We had a BLAST!

Melissa turned 30!!!

We started the day off with a relaxing walk (Heather, Mommy, and kids) while Daddy and Uncle Robert took a hike in the mountains. Mommy took TONS of pictures on this lovely Fall day!

While Mommy rested, Auntie did a craft/gift project with the kids (late nights when fun family is in town). They woke me up w/ this CLEVER apron of the kids hand prints they drew w/ fabric pens. It says, "Mommy's helping hands" in pink jewels. Loved it!

Went to the store to get a few things for soup. Upon my arrival, Matt came home w/ a dozen roses and gifts. He went over his budget!

Then we rushed over to trunk-or-treat at the church. Haleigh was Mulan, Noah a ninja, and Kalli a buzza-buzza bee.

Came home to eat my favorite cake, yellow w/ Chocolate icing...YUM!

And went to bed....PHEW!

Field trip to Luray Caverns

Haleigh took a field trip to Luray Caverns. She's our bloomin' photographer!

She said the picture in the middle looks like fried eggs...I said an owl...what do you think it looks like?

Tuesday

Matt's little hobby

Isn't he good??? He started this watercolor class the other week and he's really enjoying it. His teacher said to him, "You've taken a watercolor class before, right?" He then said that he hasn't. She said he was doing REALLY well and showed his picture in front of the class. Too fun!

Tuesday

Noah's self portrait...

Too cute...totally him! He's wearing the necklace Daddy gave him. Which Uncle Michael gave Daddy years ago when he was making them! :)

Daddy's idea of Conference Sunday...

Well at least he got some ZZZZZ's! What did he call it....Subliminal ?

Author, Patrick Carman, signing...

This Author came to their school this week. Haleigh had to have the book "Into the mist" w/ his signature in it. So.....she earned it by doing lots of good deeds and chores! Barnes and Nobles... there we went.

Noah got an autographed trading card and pretzels with frosting, too! Cool!!!

Twins???

This is my life! I get to play with the babies all day!!This is Kalli and her BFF (best friend forever), Simon!
Me and the two little ones! (I get asked if they're twins often. I say, "Close enough. They are only 14 hrs. apart.")
Auntie Heather made this fun blanket!!! Thanks Auntie!
Ahhhh...aren't they cute?

Kids being silly

Kalli Laughing almost 4 mos. old

Wednesday

Recent news...

Noah with his best friend Ryleigh from Kindergarten. She is also his first crush. Just yesterday, picture day, he said, "Ryleigh looked really cute today, Mom."
He is my sweet boy who always ends up with a scrape or cut somewhere on his body, daily. Today, his lip. I went into his class
to volunteer and noticed he wasn't in there...nurse's office.

Kalli is 4 mos old and the picture of her in the swing is her first attempt at eating cereal...not too bad! The other picture is her
4 mos. birthday picture. She is lying on a quilt
Grams made for her. She is a little dolly and the
kids just adore her.

Haleigh looked absolutely beautiful the other day, so I took a few
pictures outside of her. They turned out really well. She ran for
her 3rd grade class rep. and unfortunately lost. :( Nothing a little DQ, didn't solve though. She is now going to be in a play...Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. She finds out soon which part.

Daddy and his self portrait. These are the pictures I find on the camera all the time. ;) That's ok because he's still a hottie!
We found out recently, the company he works for, got bought out and he got a new position w/i the same company. He's excited about it.

Family Picture ;)
