Of Baju Raya

It's so frustrating to finally discovered that I have changed size from S to M after given birth. My bottom changed drastically to L size, btw. And to make it worse, all my baju raya are ill-fittingly snug at the hips area. Sigh.

This year, our theme is supposed to be electric blue but of course, there's a little mishap here and there and turns out, the theme is still blue, but a different shade of blue for each of us and that includes baby Aisyah.

Husband's baju melayu sticks to its original theme: electric blue, but mine went out a little further and becomes royal blue instead.

Modern kurung  from Fuzana Mokhtaza. The top fits me just nice but she had to alter the kain about three times to fit my gigantic arse.

Was attracted to Zawara's latest offer of Ayu Dress and bought a piece online. As usual, I can't fit in it and had to personally went to their boutique in Plaza Damas to change size to M. Just nice but it's still a little fitted around my hips. I'll most probably sell this. Sigh. It's a really really really beautiful dress, you know. Uwaaaaaaaa!

I need to raid the last minute Raya shopping in Jalan TAR or Kompleks PKNS to find bargain on another baju raya. Hopefully I can find something that can finally suit my new size. :(

A Token From Bee Little

About two weeks ago, I received a special gift from Bee Little. The owner is such a nice lady, and she gave me some products from Earth Mama Angel Baby for both me and my baby's daily use. All I can say is, thank you very much Zhuriqa for those lovely gifts!

She sent me two boxes of tea, one is Monthly Comfort Tea which is to be consumed during postpartum and has a delicious cinnamon blend. Yums! While the other one is Organic Milkmaid Tea, which is good for breastfeeding moms as it can help you to produce healthy breast milk. I have yet to try the latter since I'm still on the Comfort Tea but can't wait to try the Milkmaid Tea, which has nice, fragrant smell too.

And Aisyah is not to be left out. For her skin wellness, I received 2 boxes of Angel Baby Bottom Balm to protect her skin from diaper rash. This balm has a nice lemon-y smell and soft, perfect for baby's delicate skin. Apart from diaper rash, I used this balm for other purposes as well, such as bug bites and blisters. Amazingly, the balm works out just great!

Well, that's not only what Bee Little has got to offer. I went online and found that they have other items selling at a very reasonable price (if not cheaper!) too. And since Raya is coming soon and if you're still looking for baju kurung for your little ones, why don't you head down to Bee Little for a feast. They have them in colourful designs and are too cute to pass.
Priced at RM35 each. Much cheaper than what other online stores have to offer.

And that's not all. Bee Little also sells boardbooks and clothbooks for toddlers and kids. And I love their Young Khalifah products. Apart from Islamic clothbooks, they have colourful prayer mats for kids too! Check this out:
Aren't they the cutest? These designs and more at RM55.

Oh, let's check out this bandana bibs from Funky Giraffe Bibs, originally from UK. The name says it out loud, these bibs are funky and have cheerful designs which is prefect for babies and bubbly toddlers. And you don't have to go far to order one as Bee Little sells these too. Yeayyyyy!
Grab this at RM16 each!

For more info and products for sale, you may head down to Bee Little FB Page. Most of their products are sourced from the UK and Europe, thus it explains why the price are cheaper than other online shops. Till then, happy shopping and salam Ramadhan.

Pupsik Studio Nursing Cover

It's payday today but I couldn't do much shopping now seeing that the car roadtax is due by end of this month. How can I forget about such thing??!!! Now, I have to shop moderately and thank God most of the baby's items are settled.

I plan to fully breastfeed my baby and that explains why I've been googling online for a decent yet stylish nursing cover. It's still early I know but I'd like to be prepared. Oh, talking about preparation, I haven't even start doing the hospital bag and I'm at 8 months now. Gasps!

Ok, let's forget about the hospital bag for the time being. We'll talk about that some other time, in another post.

Anyhoo, upon searching online I noticed most nursing covers sold at the market are the standard plain colored ponchos. I don't like ponchos. If I want a poncho, I'd better buy a cheap and pretty RM10 pashmina anywhere and wrap it around my chest as my nursing cover. Duh!

Then I went to Mothercare Alamanda and found Pupsik Studio nursing cover in bright hues and design. Pupsik Studio is based in Singapore. Apart from nursing cover, they also have baby carrier and baby beansprout pillow, just to name a few. The nursing cover is priced at RM99 but I want to buy it at cheaper price and found a few websites selling them but in a very limited design. Well, it's better than nothing, right?

Some of the designs available for nursing cover. These are preeettyyyyyyyyy!!!

The features of the nursing cover

Okay, here are our local websites which sell Pupsik Studio nursing cover, just a few ringgits cheaper than retail price, if they're on sale.

Little Whiz is currently offering a really good deal of Pupsik Studio nursing cover, only at RM89.10. Too bad, they are currently out of stock. Sedihhhhhhhh! But I will definitely grab one once they restock them. *grins*

Krabi: Shopping Review

You will get bored reading my blog for the next whole month because I'll be updating about Krabi, where almost everybody went there already. Hehe.

The next thing I loved most about Krabi is shopping, apart from massage (will review about it later). Eventho the scene is practically nothing compared to Bangkok and people knew that Thailand is actually the cheapest and most affordable option for shopping, I still think Krabi is great. Maybe because of its ambience or you really have nowhere else to shop, so the only option that you have here is quite a bargain.

As mentioned, both hotels that we stayed in are situated in the heart of Ao Nang shopping strip so spending your money everyday is easy. Because Ao Nang is a beach area, so most of the shop sells almost the same thing and clothes are very beach-friendly, if you know what I mean. Singlets, bikinis, t-shirts, dresses, all those skimpy outfits are aplenty here. They are pretty and absolutely cheap. If you're good at bargaining, then you'll be happy here.

Just a quick example. A t-shirt should be around THB1500 or RM15 only. Please bargain until you can get that price. For dresses, the average price should be around THB2000-3500 or RM20-30 only. If they cannot lower their price tag to that extent, please pretend to walk out of their shop and they will eventually agreed to your price. Haha. Just bear in mind, bargain rightfully and sensible. A piece of clothes should not exceed RM50. Okay darlings?

I bought block magnets for colleagues at office, stuffs for my bridesmaids, t-shirts for family members and pashmina for female relatives. I bought a lot and totally forgot the total damage but I knew they are cheap. A pashmina only costs RM15 per piece. So does the t-shirt. Cheap aite?

Krabi is a small town. The biggest malls here are just Tesco Lotus and Big C which is practically nothing and shouldn't be bothered. By big I meant just as big as Tesco outlets here in Malaysia. That's all. They have a factory outlet too, about 6km from the airport. But the stuffs there are still expensive, and you can give it a pass. Nothing can beat those factory outlets in Bandung. The town is a little crowded tho, not my type. So it's best to stay put in Ao Nang for all the hype and scene.
