The Hello Kitty Murders

If you have not figured it out yet....I adore hello kitty. Have you seen my shoes?

Seriously I'm a 37 year old with Hello Kitty shoes and I need another pair just for a back up!

I was sent the set of 12 image stamping plates from Born Pretty Store

a while ago and one just happens to have a Hello Kitty image. I have been pondering how many ways I can use that image (A LOT) and decided what is more perfect than Man Glaze Matte is Murder as a base for such a cute image.....

This is with Seche Vite top coat

The pink is 12 drops white and 2 drops red that I mixed myself

And then to make it perfect top it with Matte-Astrophe

The Hot Guy even loves this!

I will be treasuring this plate...might even buy an extra, just in case!

The image plates I recieved from BornPrettyStore are, in my opinion, better quality

than the Bundle Monster set I purchased a while back. So far all of the images I've used have worked very well with very minimal learning curve. There are a lot of images I did not have so I'll be using those more.

OPI Go Goth and Big hugs for Kris

In low light it is easy to under estimate this set of Gothic gorgeousness!

The packaging is adorable and the lace wristcuff...well you know I'll be wearing it!

2 coats of Unripened in shade. Pretty but....

In sunlight this deep blackened blue with duochrome shimmer is so beautiful!

Nevermore in shades is sweet

In sunlight this hot navy with fuschia shimmer is as badass as the band!

In the shade Sanguine is sexy...

In the sunlight you'll catch yourself drooling on your favorite studded leather bondage pants!

Obscurity is obscure in shade...

and obscenly matte worthy in sunlight!

Love this set and I need full size bottles of these...NOW!

NOX Twilight swatches

NOX Twilight Nail Polish

I will admit that I have not read nor seen any Twighlights.

Not because I'm unwilling but I just haven't had time.

This is a review I've been meaning to post for a while but everytime I went to crop and watermark

my pictures I found myself wandering into an idea for a fabulous manicure to use these with. So I got distracted and now have finally got myself inline to do this. I will try not to stop and drool too often.

I was quite excited at the oportunity to review this

line as it is truly right up my Vampy alley!

Red Velvet is a bright blue based bright red jelly.

Look at the bottle....could you just stare at it all day!

Droooooooolllllllll! Oh sorry, back to it then.

Speechless

This is 3 coats of Red Velvet no top coat

Why yes I took eleventy billion pictures of this because I am in lust!

OK moving on.

Black Tie is a very dark black creme.

I'm not sure if everyone is as particular about black as I am or not but..well I'm a bit obsessive.

A lot of Black polish is a brown, gray or purple base or a mix of two of these. Black Tie is a blue based black which gives it a much deeper pitch black color.

This is 2 thin, smooth coats no top coat.

Sugar Plum is a Faerie of a different color! This one is a juicy fuschia with bright purple iridecent shimmer.

This picture in in natural light, shade.

I did not size this one down so click to make huge and stare at the shimmer!

It's a larger shimmer particle than most but not glitter and completely smooth.

This one is a little sheer at 2 coats but I think a 3rd would take it to opaque.

Disco Darling is a holo glitter in clear base. It's actually denser than I expected.

This is over Sugar Plum except on my ring finger which is 2 coats Disco Darling alone.

I was surprised to really like this one.

My Thoughts:

I love the bottles, the shape, the crest and all. The brush is nice.

The formula is a good workable consistancy, dries well and is very shiny on it's own.

The price is better than I had expected ay $6.99 each so I will be ordering more.

The only down side is that I hope they will come out with more colors soon.

Bloody Mary is a line of F/X makeup designed by

Bobbie Weiner, a long time Hollywood F/X makeup artist and one really cool lady.

Seriously go read her Bio it's so interesting...I could hang out with her!

All products are made in the USA (rare these days)

So how excited was I to notice that she has a line of nail polish....Like a goblin on Halloween!

I'll be swatching all of the ones I got very soon!

I am a huge lover of Black nail polish (look at blog name) and I am always on a quest for the best Black polish and all of the most interesting ones as well. I could not wait to put this on and The Hot Guy was laughing as I ripped into the package polish remover in hand! :o)

This is Called Nocturnal Desire...love the names too!

Oh yeah, one smooth coat of black liquid happy!

I so love a one coat black!

I added some silver studds and nail decals for fun.

The price is not bad either $3.95 for a single and there are some sets of two for $5.95

This manicure is so me it's a little creepy

There are a lot of very interesting, unusual and pretty colors oh and Red mascara...I must own this too!

It's a little hard to find your way to the nail polish because it's in a couple of different places but it's worth scrolling around and with all the cool F/X makeup and other great stuff you won't get bored looking.

I could spend all day looking around!

Gettin' Vampy with Eyeko

Eyeko Vampira is my kind of color!

Beautiful black base with red micro glitter.

This is 2 coats of Vampira in natural light.

Pardon my tipwear I had already worn this for 2 days when I realized I hadn't taken pictures yet.

For Gothic nails! I love those little tittles on Eyeko bottles.

Application was awesome, smooth and even.

I might need a backup of this!

I think this is the most perfect glitter polish I've seen!

A sweet black jelly base with bright purple micro glitter and large purple hex glitter suspended!

*Drool*

This is 3 coats, you could layer over a black creme and do one coat but I

think it's truly beautiful on it's own and well worth doing 3 coats to layer and give a stunning depth.

I can't think of a clever title

So you all know that I am totally crushed my the death of Dio.

Well last night I felt the need to do a Dio memorial manicure because well I can.

I used my Evil Shades Rainbow in the dark polish and some of the China glaze tattoo nail art stickers.

(I need more of these...a lot more)

There are eleventy billion pictures because this turned out perfectly!

Is pretty, no?

There is actually 6 decals there.

If my nails where longer I would have added a dragon or something.

I love the rainbow sparklies!

You thought I was kidding about how many pictures didn't you?

OK here is where I get all weird so if you can't or choose not to deal with my weirdness just skip the rest!

A few very interesting things happened yesterday and today.

First when I posted my tribute yesterday as I published I hit 666 followers.

Prior to posting I was at 664.

How perfect is that screen shot. (click to make huge)

Then When I turned on the Stereo my cd's skipped past 3 cd's and started up on Dio which is not what I set it to. yeah I know not that big.

Then I went over to my dear friend Mighty Lambchop's blog to post my hugs on her Dio tribute and this happened:

Note the word verification.....DIO uther. Heather is as huge a Dio fan as I am so I sent her a screenshot. I think Dio was letting us both know that he's still with us!

Think again this is a picture of  the same cd inside that I just took.

Yes I know that some would explain it all away and that's fine for them.

I don't mind if some think me crazy or silly.

I was raised to believe that those who pass send their love and hugs to us even after they are gone.

Double holo love

I decided to play some more with my SmART nails stencils

I used No 21 Small teeth with Bloom Mena and OPI DS Elegance.

I did a simple split down the middle design.

Sorry I had to take pictures in my lightbox, we had major storms.

Mena is so much prettier than it shows.

I'm so going to do this again and again!

Chris even loves this, so much so that he hid my remover....all of it.
