WHAT HAS HAPPENED SINCE MY LAST POST

A lot of things have happened since we quit doing this blog. Only a few years have passed, but we had so many ideas left unexplored, so many bands we wanted to talk shit about, and since then life has literally exploded. I have become a father yet again, and have had a series of personal triumphs as well.

First and foremost Chappa’Ai. I write about my noise band first because this is where the most amount of stuff has happened, and this is by far the most dynamic band I have ever had the pleasure of playing in. Aside from having an infinite amount of songs at our disposal, we also have a set theme that is also endless, generating endless amounts of recordings, songs, titles, etc. We have just recorded and released a split with Bollock Swine, and our side is a collaboration with Ignacio Ruiz, called v8.08 on stage. He is a harsh noise dude from Chile, and when he was here, our minds clicked. When we told his of the recording he merely said “I feel like a duck in the waters of life”. Nuff said.

We also will be releasing a split with Melanocetus Murrayi, which is a fucking dream come true for me. If you saw this blog when it was still active as a source of cultural destruction and not just as a repository like it is now, you may remember that I featured them like every other post. They are that important. Total abyssal harsh noise grind chaos. Now we are going to do a split with them, what the fuck. Life, man. Here is their bandcamp, they literally just made it:

A childhood fantasy also came true for me, as we went on a 3 day min tour with Agathocles. We were all reminded of why we make this music, why wed this, even though all you fucks do is pose and talk shit, and become totally mired in your scene. Scenes are not the way to go, it’s about individuals, it’s about bands, it’s about motherfuckers who press shit, release shit, do shit and get shit done. A scene is tremendously important but it will always be secondary when compared to what is actually achieved, what is actually being done. I would also like to take this time and tell you that Agathocles are the last true grindcore band left from the first wave. Everyone else is dead, split up, sold out, or mostly inactive, only getting together to play large festivals and shows that are somehow “worth it”. We are releasing our live set that we played opening for Agathocles as a split with them. Life, man.

We will also be releasing the Goa’uld Pleasure Palace in a matter of months. We recorded these songs 2 years ago almost, and have been dicking around until now, but it is done, it is everything everyone ever wanted. There are songs, so finally there will be a Chappa’Ai recording with not only improvised stuff but actual written material mostly, it is much more controlled. And we will never do anything like this again. It’s a one off.

The band that only the two motherfuckers doing this blog are in, Cancerous Aggravation has recorded its 5^th and final demo. We only played improvised ghetto grind, and these 5 demos are a testament to the conditions we see and the world we live in. It is everything that we believe was missing from grind today, the spontaneity, ridiculous speed and ferocious not giving a fuck that this band entailed. These 5 demos will be released by yours truly on a tape, if you want in, give me a holler. Instead of this band, me and Marci will be doing a Discordance Axis influenced band but ti will NOT be like Damage Digital or Syntax, even though I fucking love those bands. It will not be just DxAx theft all the way, but will be very recognizably influenced by them, it will more lo-fi and noisier, with lots of intros. Our current bands just do not reflect the paranoia, stress and constant questioning of everything that living in the internet age of brainwashing infotainment brings. I want to express these feelings too, so we need to make a band about it.

Speaking of new bands, Chappa’Ai and Human Error have joined forces. The singer of Human Error playing guitar, me on drums, and the rest of the Chappa’Ai crew doing what they do best have made a grindcore band called Scum Of The Earth. First gig is set for September 14^th, will be sharing the stage with Abortion, Sedem Minút Strachú, Internal Excavation and a bunch more local bands. We will record shit too, although recordings are not a priority for this project. Straight up grind, no bullshit, no other influences. Keep your eyes peeled, as the rehearsals are fucking awesome.

Diskobra is now a complete band, a stable 3 piece instead of being completely a one man band. Kobi still writes all of the music and all of the lyrics, but we now do it together. We got a second demo and a split with the Ukranian Displease out. I released both of them on tape.

Human Error also released an album, one that was also sat on for over a year. I am exceedingly proud of it, it’s quite different than the other ones, but the same general concept, so no changing up our steelo. Checkum.

I also wanted to do a little segment about bands I wanted to mention on this blog but never got around to it that are active, are in touch, and we loved playing with them, or just listening to them.

I don’t believe I ever got to write about Whoresnation, for example. They are precision grind for certain, not too dirty at all, but goddamn it are they good. The recordings do not do justice to the amazing live set they pulled off 3 years ago in Budapest. They are fast beyond belief, really on top of it, really precise, almost surgical in execution, and went from sounding a lot like late Ulcerrhoea to sounding a lot more like The Arson Project, but keeping the simple, blastbeat oriented vibe. Their place is on this blog. The other thing I love about this band is that they expound the usual political opinions of Western European grind scene, anti- homophobia, anti-sexism, anti-fascism, but they do not do it in the hippie way that most of these jackasses tend to. Usually you will have people talking half assedly about acceptance and tolerance, where as these guys take the approach of attacking bigots, an approach much more easily digestible to my shit laden guts. They are another one of those bands like Cellgraft that are fucking stellar, unique and need to keep doing this, and they also had a really fucked up snare sound that I loved (hopefully they will be active for longer), and have changed it in their 2014 album to a more acceptable one. I am sad because of this change- y’all need to bring out the old snare again. Stand up guys too. Me and the singer had a half hour conversation once about how grindcore is not music that should be played at festivals, for example. They are people you can talk to even though they keep busy as fuck, thank the sweet heavens. Come catch them in July in Budapest, you fucking tool.

Horrible Pain is one of those bands from Canada that is linked with all of the other bands from Canada. I imagine their scene is much like ours, a 10 person strong cancer constantly spreading and engulfing more and more of the hardcore and punk scenes, with all the bands consisting of the same people. Horrible Pain is their Excruciating Terror rip off band, and if you don’t know ET, don’t admit it, just quietly go to my youtube channel and listen to all of it. You are welcome. I think it’s a one man project, it is fucking awesome, much better than all of their other offerings, which I find to be good, but just too one dimensional and silly in their approach, but that’s cool though, I like silliness. This however, is not silly at all.

Wound was a band from Japan, and I owe the biggest debt of gratitude to Kitti for fucking finding this thing for me. She is me mates girlfriend, and I owe her a debt of gratitude, I simply don’t know how this could have gone under my radar. It is exactly what I like, the only band that I can really say has GBN as an influence audibly, but mixing it up with that good Boss HM-2 death metal feeling. I simply cannot get enough of their shit, their two longer demos are fucking awesome, and the rest of their shit is all promo materials. They did not exist for long, but they fucking did everything there is to do as far as I am concerned. Not the fastest but definitely the noisiest and most fucked up of Japanese grind. Brings a tear to a grown mans eye. Also, their logo is an upside down Venom logo.

  SickGoreSuffer finally dropped their shit too. Essentially the same great people as Cock Brutality, this is one of those bands that is speed oriented like a motherfucker. It is insanely fast, with that super duper fucked up snare sound that I absolutely admire. High pitched and tinny, with a long as sustain, the blastbeats make your head hurt like a motherfucker. Average song length about half a minute, real pv shit, none of this namby pamby Hexis inspired dark hardcore with black metal elements BULLSHIT masquerading as power violence. I want to take this time also to say a giant fuck off to all hipster hardcore motherfuckers, bring your shallow self-absorbed bullshit somewhere else, zero tolerance to fucking hipster attitudes and the bullshit fake ass “irony” and pop culture elitism they bring with them. Go somewhere else, you are not welcome here, fuck right off. This bands first offering was released as a split tape with Karak, where Marci, the other guy who does this blog plays drums.  I would write about Sedem Minut Strachú, as they are the most fucking radical thing to happen in this part of the world in a very, very long time, but I assume Marci will do it. If he doesn’t I will devote an entire post to these three motherfuckers. They are the only bastion of noisecore south of the Czech republic, and north of Serbia. Well, there is also us, but these guys are loads better. World class 7MON worship band, with two basses and super primitive approach.

If you have Facebook and are into grind, I don’t see how you could have not heard of Shitnoise Bastards. They must be mentioned because they were not around when this blog died, and they most definitely fucking belong here. They are very prolific, always and continuously pressing records, almost exclusively releasing splits, and we released one with Chappa’Ai (thanks Seluar!!!). They ply noisegrind in the SMG vein, and it is fucking awesome. There are kinda riffs floating about, but kept so primitive and undefined it is essentially noise, super raw recording style, and a blastbeat that is insanely fast. It really is sonic torture, and our split is just like that too. People from this part of the world have an attitude that will make you humble, they are so positive, even while keeping very honest. We have a lot to learn from the Malaysian grind scene.

I just found out about Kasosquad, Slovakia’s premier old school death/grind madness, too. Again one of those bands that I don’t know how I could not have heard of, seeing as they have been around for a minute. I found out about them by playing a gig together with them, Agathocles, Alea Iacta Est, Jack and Sedem Minut Strachú, one of the bets gigs of my life. Their Repulsion/Xysma inspired old school as fuck grind is really inspiring, and played without any bullshit allure, owning up to being metalheads, but not falling for the metalhead clichés, and being completely blunt, honest and in your fucking face. There used to be bands like this all around the area, but they died out; this band represents a dying breed, and even if you don’t like it, they deserve your respect.

A WHILE IT'S BEEN

Hello guys!

No the blog is not dead, I just needed some time away from it, but back in action, full force and all that shit. Because there is still music in this world that is just too fucked up and nasty to just let it go without proselytising about it. But before that I have a few things to say.

One, March was a postless month because I took part in the iternet boycot. No uploading or downloading anything for the entirety of March. Many of us decided to do this, if you wer ein on it, high five, if not, then I dunno, you must be an idiot. Or not. The reason I did it is because the SOPA act and the PIPA and the more brutal, European version, the ACTA are scray business. I dunno if the boycott had any effect on the ruling to get the fuck of our backs, and ACTA failing miserably in the court, although, to be real, I think that probably one or more of the judges just enjoys kiddie porn, or midget porn, or something, and he did not want it ruining his career, so, they shot it down.

Two, I went to a show yesterday of some band sthat I did not know were gonna be playing, and it rocked, spontaneous drunken moshpit, in a rehearsal room. I felt genuinely good, this cute girl was smelling me for some reason, our basist told her I smelt bad, so she checked. Its these littlr things that make a show fun, and of course, the weed and booze and general good sentiment also help a lot. One of the bands playing are friends, and half their team bucke don em, so they got new folks, ones who play music very differently than the ones who bucked, but it is still good. This is so rare and so fucking good when this happens, change your entire rhythm section and still have a good band? You must know something.

Three, I know posting has been next to nothing, but I have not even time to sleep. Even as we speak my wife is staring at me with these eyes that are saying "this is more important to you than me, you asshole?" How do you answer a question like that? I spend all of my time devoted to blastbeats, they literally gave me purpose in life and somehting to do. I have something that I love, that most people do not have. I am fairly okay at playing them too. Realy, its the only thing I have ever wanted to do wiht my life. Before I knew any of y'all, including me wifey, I knew blast beats. And this is not answering the question. Cana ny hiuman relationship be as all consuming? Does this make blastbeats more important? I dunno. I think I am afraid fo these questions.

Damage Digital have been mentioned before, they are like a zanier, more "Japanese" version of Discordance Axis. They are really crazy, the song structures and drum beats are basically the same, but with extra annoying high snare, god I love it. I dunno why I haven't put up their two full lengths albums yet,vas I have listened the shit out of them, they are a bit more serious than the shorts. Probably because they are a Cephalochromoscope band, they play the kind of music that has its place on that wonderful blog. Which is where I got both of these albums.

The next two tapes I wanna talk about are Agathocles stuff. The best AG material was written between 1994 adn 1998 in my humble opinion, and the best in that is when they played wiht that drummer guy who was really good at blastbeats. He was on all of their 95-96 shit. Most people do not like ot think of AG as being a good band, but they are. Even their live shit is killer on here. On one of the tapes they are playing n a radioshow, and it is fucking intense. Also on that tape is Rot form their classic, super burly, super primitive monkey noise attack of fucking rage state, when they were very sloppy and the songs were just SO good. On that tape also is the incredibly forgettable Masher. Mince band, though, so give em credit. Its hard to be Mince. The other tape is a live of AG and also has my special favorites Dahmer on it as well, and a creepy sounding, spazztic American or Canadian band (judging fomr the sound) called Jangle. They are kinda nice I guess. Too bad they released a tape with two of the best bands in the genre, because it is hard to get credit like that. Dahmer sounds hela raw and tight live. Sound Corrupter are also on here, they suck. Its like noise grind kindergarden.

Next up is the noisey, raw, raw shit of Melanocetus Murrayi. Truly unmarvelled in sheer pummeling onslaught of just garbage noise, this band can be exemplified in just one word: relentless.
The highlight of these tapes for me is the split with Industrial Noise. First off, Industrial Noise is fucking great, noise/grind or just raw grind, the music is weitten, but there si pplenty of just playing aorund in it too. Loose atmosphere, leaking almost. Its sick. And the MM side of it is like a noise grind band, but it sounds like a band, you can hear that there are insturments involved, its weird. Usually you dont know what the fuck is happening to your ear drums wiht these guys. Their self titled tape is like really fucking long, endless barage of noise. All of the tape rips were made by Marci, so big up for contribuiting.

So there was a hardcore band from the States called Deadfall. They released 3 EPs, did their thing, were around for a bit then split up. Then some of the members founded another band, called Nightstick Justice. The former was a fast, kinda political American hardcore, with, sometimes, blastbeats. The latter is more like an old school faster type of hardcore band, and is fucking killer. Not sure which one is better, overall, as they are both really good. I hardly know anything at all about these bands, but they are on par with Tear It Up for me.

Leaving you yet again with some classics. All of these were intended for the blog a long time ago anyhow, so yeah. The first is Entrails Massacre and their split with Cruel Face. Fuckin eh, EM in their prime, probably one of their best records ever. I own this one, but this is not my rip, my vinyl rips are just NOT sounding good at all. Maybe if I wasn't a complete idiot with machinery of any sort, this would not be an issue. Cruel Face are a Brazilian hardcore band that has leanings towards grind. It is fucking great, and on this recors I would say they are as good as Entrals Massacre's side. For me to say that is quite an honour, really, I have a serious soft spot for EM. Tons of blastbeats, good sound quality, in a way, although extra fuckin grimey. Highly recommended.
The other is Excruciating Terror. I have not put anything on here yet form tem, and I cannot seem to remember why. For a while, I only had this EP of them, and when I got a hold of their longer material, I was disappointed. The riffs were great, even cooler than Phobia riffs, but so sloppy, with the drumming so shitty, and the sound so high tech and sterile, it was aweful. Since then I have come to love those two albums, but like how one loves a relative who is insane. This EP however, is true love. The vocals are great, the sound is grimey and foggy, and all kinds of different flavors of fucked up. Sloppy and raw too. Really some of the best grind you can get.

GRIND/MINCE

Back to the oldschool way of posting, I got 30 albums, mostly split 7"s, mostly grindcore, mostly super lo-fi, mostly classics. Nothing new on this post, if you have been listening to grindcore for the past 10 years, just scroll down, there might be some discography filler material for you, otherwise, this is not gonna be interetsing for you. But a lot of you think that grindcore is the fucking locust, and this post is for all of you assholes. Not hating on 'em, but come on. Give me a break. Plus, the internet needs more rainbow puking and also, grindcore.
What it needs even more is for all of you shit talkers to realize, mincecore is real, it's a subset of grind, but it is as different from the old, raw grind, as goregrind is, and Agathocles are not the only band playing it. It has somehow stayed very little, an underground within the underground, staying true to the original precepts of grind, and nto deviating, until grindcore became so different from it, and until it got its own little delicacies going, to the point of, yes, being a different genre. So here is some mince, also, some of it is indistinguishable from raw, oldschool grind, so I'm gonna post some of that as well, but first, some obviously mincecore records.




Instead of talk about each of them, I am just gonna put a list up here, you can download which ever one you feel comfortable with. I am gonna mention though, that Rot are from Brazil, as if you didn't know, and they fucking rule, sloppy, fast, mince vocals, sorta like PV vocals, but more grind. Also, the Cornucopia/Agathocles split tape is like one of the best things ever, it's rare as well, I think that it gives a really good idea of what mincecore is, where it stands in the grind spectrum, and what it does. Also, Abstain do not call themselves a mincecore band, neither does Carcass Grinder, but I think that the label does in fact apply. Also, the Violent Headache guys also do not subscribe to the label, but in reality, come on, that is what it is. Also, I tried to avoid Agathocles,a lthough I fucking love them, because everybody knows them, and thinks they are the only people, since they created the genre. BUt of course, it was impossible, neverheless, this did not turn into an Agathocles post. Which will happen, soon.

The rest of this stuff is grind, some of it is sorta mince, but the label does not reall apply, couple of gore relics in here as well, as well as some good ol' japanese hardcore. Gonna hit you with descriptions, or at least some of them, cuz I just cannot contain myself. It will be easy to skip. Don't worry.

First up is two split tapes of Carcass Grinder with bands that I have never heard of, who play noise. These two tapes are simmilar in that Carcass Grinder has some rehearsal footage quality grind with the same songs they always play, and the other side is a harsh noise band. Got these tapes from Music Stinks!, and that label is awesome if you like noise and also grind. CxGx are from Japan, mind you, and the music they play is like mincecore and grind, so they just hit you with their own shit even harder, they have moments when they sound like a 90s hardcore band, except not on these tapes.

Next up is some shit from Discordance Axis. I really have a soft spot for this band, even though their drummer now plays in Municipal Waste. This band absolutely fucking rules, every second of every record is sheer genius. I tend not to post so much of it, because Cephalochromoscope has them so covered, it would be embarassing to fuck with them after that. One of these is my own rip, one of them is theirs. Discordant, semi-technical, super tight grindcore. Plutocracy is the same crew as No Less, but this band was their best by far. Capitalist Casualties you should know, but I am gonna post more of them later. They also rule.

Some gore stuff for you guys as well. I have been neglecting the gore, it's sad. This is Regurgitate playing a demo that rules, and a split with a noise/gore/grind band. Cannot go wrong. This is the way gore should sound. Also, here is some Ulcerrhoea, possibly my favorite band of all time doing a split with a gore band. Also, here si this band, Tumor Ganas, playing fuckng awesome grind that has it's little tendrils into gore and also mincecore, they represent all of grind. They are sloppy as fuck, too.

The next block is some awesome 'muhrican grind, who sound like 'muhricans. PLF bring the pain real hard, turbo speed grind, none stop, they only play what's necessarry, nothing else. Awesome band, they played live last saturday in Slovakia, and I fucking missed it. I am ashamed of myself, it was a gig with Alea Iacta Est, whom I love. Also got some Massgrave shit on here, who sound too much like my own band Human Error for me to be comfortable with writing anything else about them-they rule. Also In Disgust, but you should know them by now.

Now for the odd ends. Mesrine's split with Glaucoma is very, very good. The Mesrine side is exactly what you would expect, nothing more, nothing less. The Glaucom side is very weird however, lots of noise and weird samples, blastbeats, double times, kinda quiet vocals, it's a fucking trip. I am also gonna post two japanese hardcore bands stuff on here, one is the almighty Chainsaw, and all I have of them is this EP, noisy as fuck japanese style hardcore. The second one is some crasher crust in the form of Rabid, really sloppy and all over the place, but the sound is so awesome. Prostethic Cunt are an update of my space series. Alien abduction themed porn/cyber-gore by members of Mortician. Great fun, takes like 1.5 minutes to listen to this. Vomit For Breakfast have the coolest name in the scene ever, and they play noisy hardcore/grind/pv on here, this record is great. The feedback is instrumental to the music. It facilitates. For real. Emma-ho are also noisy, also hardcore, also fucking fast.

BLASTBEAT CRUST! (and some more stuff)

So, this one is gonna be about crust, crust with blastbeats. Why? Because all you guys wanna run with is melodic ass neocrust and slow ass stenchcore, and I have not heard a decent crust band in a million years. Don't get me wrong, I love Misery, and slow ass crust (although neocrust is fucking shit, most of the time), its fine, but lets not forget the real deal here. I play in a crust band, its got blastbeats, and everyone is like, oh my god, how uniue and interesting!! It's not unique, it's not interesting, y'all just forgot how its done. Looking at you younger cats mostly, older guys still know whats good, for the most part, although yall getting soft too.

The picture is of my wife and child as of last year in front of a big as spiece of some cat named "Grind". I know, it looks like "Gryno" or some shit, but it is actually grind. Ready?

Autoritar are form Germany, and unlike most music from Germany, with a few notable exceptions, they do NOT suck ass. They play tons of d-beats and blastbeats, tight enough, but loose enough to let the soul of the music waft around. Gotta be like one of my favorites. The lyrics are fairly mundane PC punk lyrics. Not that impressed by them in that sense. But they fucking rule, the vocals are total cookie monster, they get to be hillarious, especially on the split with AG.

Autoritar/ Abuso Sonoro

Two good bands, but Autoritar fuckin take the cake. Really anarcho, super crusty shit on this one, hardly any blast beats.

Autoritar/Coma

Fuckin awesome. I dont like Coma, but Autoritar simply rule on this one. Fast as fuck, Bastard cover, blast beats all the way, d-beat song on here as well. This is the epitome of a good split EP for me. Coma play like mid-tempo really brutal d-beat, tis swell, but no blastbeats. So....

Autoritar/Vomit For Breakfast

This might be a repost, I fucking hype both of these bands like non-stop. They both rule, VFB is at their peak o this one, super noisy, sloppy, fucked up, really ridiculously fast, great riffage, really crazy shrieking vocals. Autoritar are not their usual selves on this one, and rule slightly less then some of their other releases.

Autoritar/Totalitar

D-beat, for the most part. Both of these guys. It's decent, Autoritar slaughter the legendary Swedes, though.

Autoritar/ Warsore

This is my least favorite Autoritar release. Hardly any blasting, funny intros, though. A good band knows who to do splits with, though, and of course, Warsore fucking rule. They are not my favs either, but you now what you are getting with them, always. This one is a 12", it's fairly long, but its alright.

Autoritar: self-title

Again, hardly any blastbeats, but really, really decent. Good d-beats, fucking awesome riffage, funny vocals, its got the standard Autoritar stuff going for it.

Autoritar/ Agathocles

And of course, all good bands have a split with Agathocles. This is a great record, both sides absolutely slay, classic AG stuff, and Autoritar absolutely slay on this one, they have a song called disbeat on here, lots of fast stuff as well.

Oh, and if you got a problem with my Agathocles obsession, then here is a record for you. Its their splti with Vomit Fall, who are like an awesome grind band, and I have never heard from them since, or before. I dont know where they are from, but they rule. Also, AG play awesome music on this one. This is one of those rare gems that has an atmosphere to it, feels like nothing else. Both sides. Awesome. Get it here.

Destroy are my favorite crust band. See why find out for yourself. Fir all of you lazy assholes, here is a discography, although I really do suggest that you get some of their EPs and dwell on them first, cuz they are so awesome, you need a couple of listens. These records feel so unlike anything else at all. It's one of those cases when yo can ear the chemistry and the awesomeness on the records. And of course, tons of fastcore and even quicker blastbeats, great shrieking and also a really, really bad ass growl. But its like punked out, man, just listen.

Destroy! Burn This Racist System Down

Best 7", perhaps in my collection at all. Great shortb songs, really catchy, longer crust songs are also awesome, drumming si fucking on par, vocals, as always,a nd every riff is memorable. Its like edge of your seat the whole time that it is on. Just the best crust band, by far.

Destroy!/ Disrupt

Everything that is good about crust. Grime, blastbeats,, d-beats, hardcore shit, mid-tempos, awesome growling and yelling, good lyrics, pissed off, but still somehow disgusting and grating. Really mindblowing shit. The bets meets the best.

VA: Bloodless Unreality Compilation 7"

Destroy on here, Hellnation on here, Assuck on here,a nd some band that is always on the comps that are totally left in the dust, this time called Confrontation. All of these three other bands have been on this blog, you know they are absolutely great, Destroy sound like a little bassier and more low end than usual, and the songs are awesome, I love these tracks.

Axiom are one of those Tribal War crust bands form Portland, some of these folks now play in Hellshock, with whom I have had the pleasure to drink with, and also in Resistant Culture, who I might post later on, and who play like Native American hardcore, its weird, sorta beatdownish. But anyway, who cares, Axiom play crust, its full of blastbeats, really, really evil and dark sounding, these folks know about their metal, but do not over do it, in fact, tis the type of fats crust that leans heavily on the hardcore side.

Axiom: Impaled By Chaos

This si an EP, its crappy sound quality, the upload aint that good either, but its awesome, more metal then any of their other stuff. Awesome EP though, the intro is really good as well. The riffage is great, but the drumming takes it all.

Axiom: Apathy and Privilege

Real classic crust shit, with blasbeats. More hardcore then anything else, has a spoken word track on here about suburban american punks who pretend to be poor and thus squander all of the wealth that is at their disposal. Really good little monologue, although I do not like spoken word on my records, but this one is aight.

Axiom: Establishing A Culture Of Resistance

Their best one in my opinion. Four tracks, absolutely rules, blastbeats and a classic d-beat tune on here as well. This one is really awesome.

Okay, last band I wanna talk about today is Dismachine. Big up to Dr. Slayer for hooking me up with these guys. Fucking grindcore band, with this name, they are crusties, but the music is straight up grindcore, for real. Its awesome.

Dismachine/ Nailed down

Grindcore band versus some PV. Really noisy and fucked up split, really good material, but of course, Dismachine take the cake with their crusty feeling grindcore.

Dismachine/ Cumbrage

Same members in both fo these bands, Cumbrage is a d-beat band, really negative and fucked up atmosphere on both of these guys. Dismachine are a filthy, raw as fuck band on this one, they absolutely rule.

So yeah, keep that shit in mind.

FINLAND. WHERE IT'S AT.

You know what's like half a million times cooler than Sweden? Finland. All of you neo-crust guys with your black hair and nails, your guitar solos and d-beat drums, you all need to look to the east and learn some lessons. I am not Finnish or Swedish, so for me it does not matter, but realistically speaking, from a third and quiet removed parties point of view, the awesomeness is obvious.

Let's take the crust/hardcore shit that I have not posted on here yet. In the early 80s, Finland had Kuolema. Sweden had some cool shit, but nothing as noisy, ballsy and negative as that. And to this day (aside from Brain Cancer, who I think might have some Fins in the band, based on sound alone), Sweden has not been able to show anything for itself, that is in that league. So let's keep it real. Everyday you hear some neo-crust Swedish band or rock n roll d-beat band touring wanting a show around here (Budapest), which is cool, but wouldn't you rather book a band like Pohjasakka? Or Uutuus? Or Noituus? Not even mentioning heavy weights, here like Genocide, Kuolema, Lama, Siviilimurha, Kirous, Kaviosurma, just some meager folks like let's say, HC Andersen or Tampere SS? I know I would. Don't get me wrong, I am happy to see you play if you don't suck, but come on.

For starters, Kuolema. I put a bunch of their shit in one file, for convenience sake.

Also, Ulcerrhoea, possibly my all time favorite band, who are a little bit Swedish, decided to release a split with the above mentioned band as well. This band is nosiecore with the most annoying vocals and sound EVAHR!

Finlands answer to the Exploited, fuckin classic, never hear about them anymore, come on guys, you can do better. Just get to know it. The band name means scum or sediment. Neat-o.

Katastrofialue are like the perfect d-beat band. Of course they had to be Finnish. Fuckin really noisy, really negative lyrics about life and death and wage slavery. It's awesome. My favorite is Vapaus On Vankila, which means 'Freedom is a Prison'. All the rest rule as well. They have more stuff probably, but I cannot get a hold of it.

Also, since I am also obsessed with Japan (and Australia), here is a split between two Japanese bands who play Finncrust and also ahve song titles and names in Finnish. Japanese people do this sometimes, it's funny. Could've fooled me. Also, million thanks to Seanocide for having this on his blog and getting me into it.

Varaus SS- Kuolevainen split

HC Andersen, a finnish hardcore band that employ a marimba. It fucking rules.

Kirous are a Finnish, really fucking fast hardcore band. If crust would have naturally evolved to fastcore levels, this is what it would sound like. It's awesome, needless to say, the vocals I like in this one very much, nothing ancy just some guy yelling. Awesome. They also have a split with a Polish band, and although ti si good, I am not gonna post it because it's not as good as this one in my humble opinion, and because copies of that one are still sort of available. I see them at shows, when bands with distros come around.

This band Kaviosurma is like the most awesome shit. It is new (sort of), with alll of the stuff that makes Finnish hardcore awesome. Donald duck vocals, short fast sloppy songs, ridiculous distortion, and some klang klang klang. These are two demos that were up for download on their website, I have not heard of them since, I dunno what happened.

The only thing that Sweden has to compensate is some fo the best grindcore in the world. And in the end, to me, that is what really counts. Grindcore. So I am gonna move to Finland and make a grindcore band that will sound like Kuolema, but faster. Just to save face.

THE BIOLOGICAL IMPERATIVE (caps lock is epic)

But do not worry, everything he listens to is alright, it's not your thrash-clone bullshit. But before I go, I want to leave some food for your brain as well, not just your ears, and perhaps I can destroy a bit of both.

Everybody who deals with politics is obsessed with the biological imperative, somehting they all need to jump the fuck off of. Right wingers like it, because they misinterpret it, so as to make white people look better than they are. The left likes to not talk about it, and accuse anyone who mentions it as a fascist. The biological imperative has also been mentioned by Friedriech Nietzsche as "The Will To Power". It is basically saying that the only two ways to happiness are to relinquish, or to gain power and every aspect fo your life is focused around these things. The will to power is that force which takes on the journey that is your life, it is your lfie force, and biologists echo the words of Nietzsche unknowingly. It can be a little bit more complicated, because we now know that we are willing to die for our genes, and that our minds, our egos are controlled by our genes, and we are willing to do anything to anyone to make sure our genes stay in the game. It has been identified that organisms have these instincts, these drives, and if you do some research, you will find that they all boil own to either gaining or giving power, precisely what the will to power states.
But as far as politics is concerned, we will use whatever we can to justify gaining power for ourselves, our group, or our sets of genes, and politicans try and make justify our acts, our behaviour, in the light of some greater good while robbing us blind. The only way to live a decent life is to confront the fact that you are an oversexed monkey, to look truth dead in it's eyes, accept the truth about your genetic programming and it's purposes, and work for the survival and benefit of your sepcies. Everything else, all politics, religions and ideology are merely pretense.

Now to further my own culture a bit. This si the discography CD from Boston based hardcore/crust band (with some blast beats) Solitary Neglect. I picked up a copy of their CD in Rivno, Ukraine, of all places. They are awesome, they play sloppy a bit, but enough blast ebats and fast parts to keep you inetersted, although mostly it is just Destroy! type crust. They also ahve an old school feel to them, which helps matters greately. Also, I did not add the CD cover, because I do not have a scanner and I had no time to go to my cohorts house to scan it. I am not good at comparissons, so let me just say, pissed off teenish sounding vocals, sloppy fast drums, simple distorted as fuck guitars, bit of the American old school, bunch of crust, what could go wrong?

This is the first installment of the Agathocles Mince Core History, dated 89-93, and it is truly fucking awesome. I noticed talking about Agathocles, mentioning you like them, or God forbid, wearing their T-shirt has become most uncool, so all of you haters can eat a sack fo baby dicks, AG are fucking awesome, fuck off. By the way I am going to do a massive AG post one of these days, and a seperate mince core one as well. Next up is a live album, called "The Belgian Campaing For Musical Destruction", and it features Agathocles, their side project Acoustic Grinder, the crust legends Hiatus, and a band I do not know called Personal Jesus Detetctor, I have no info on them, they are Belgian, they play crusty grinding mince core, or something like it, and if you have anything form them, possibly something that is not so incredibly poorly recorded, please hit me up, I will have cybersex with you. I got his years ago on soulseek, and have not seen it on any blogs, any distros, anywhere at all. Also, be aware that the recording quality is very, very poor, this is not easy listening.

Here is my favorite Cripple Bastards EP, "Life's Built On Thoughts", it is awesome, totally unique, very short, very well composed songs recorded absolutely shit like, typical grind that they play. I will continue to love this band, even though everyone tells me that Guilio is a fascist, which I do not believe. I am sure he has his reasons for his Serbian nationalism, although I do not know what they could possibly be. Anyhow, this band rules, and if you check their lyrics, I do not think you can rightfully call them fascists. This is another one of my soulseek finds, from like 2003, or some shit, I have not been able to purchase this at an acceptable price. If you can offer me some kind of reasonable price, I will buy it from you.
