HUGE NEWS!

Okay it's maybe not HUGE NEWS for anybody else, but I have been waiting a long time for this day to come. About a week and a half ago I bought the new iphone4s. Now, those of you who know me, know that I have been waiting a long time for this. :) After saving lots of pennies I was finally able to purchase one and I LOVE IT!

I figured you were dying to see pictures ;)

In other news.....

Life has been busy, but fun. For Homecoming Week we decided to participate in Hike and Light the Y. It is a lot of fun and Helaman, Maija, and the boys even joined us! :)

"Boom, Badoom, Boom, Boom, Badoom, Boom, he got that Super Bass"
We're on a flag football team and we're pretty hardcore.

We took a trip to Cedar City a couple weeks ago with some friends and had a blast there. I love being home and hanging out with the fam. We were lucky to catch the end of Bryson's football game on Friday night, except he didn't really play much after we got there cause they were beating the other team by quite a few points. Saturday morning we had a little Zumba session in the back yard and then left for Red Cliffs to do some hiking. We had a lot of fun down there and the weather was perfect! Of course we finished off our night with some karaoke and Just Dance.

Other than the trip to Cedar I've just been enjoying this incredible fall weather. Filling my time with Zumba, reading books, work and more work :) I'm enjoying my job though and we have been pretty busy, especially with football games. Here are a few pics to document

:P

Man! I always have such good intentions to keep up and then a month or so passes and I still haven't updated :P Sorry! I don't know if anybody read this anyway.....but yeah. So Bex and I finished off our road trip and had a blast! It was so fun driving across the country and visiting some of our most favorite people in the southern part of the United States. I'm so thankful for Becca, for being such a great sister and friend! It was so much fun spending time with her. We got to Cedar City and it was a whirlwind of holiday activities. It was so fun to be home and to have everybody home. Janae, Brandon, and kids surprised us on Christmas Eve and we were so excited!! All of us were together! The house was definitely crazy, but such a blast. We held the first annual Haynie Family Olympics and it will most definitely be continued. I stayed in Cedar City the whole break and just hung out with the fam and saw a few friends. It was a lot of fun! After the break I came back up to Provo to search for a job. I was here for a week turning in applications everywhere I could possibly think of, hanging out with the girls and seeing friends and then headed back to Cedar in hopes that I might hear back from one of the places I applied. Luckily I did! :) of course I couldn't just get one of the jobs I had to get hired for two so then I still had to make a choice haha I got hired in Park City to work at a resort, which I would have loved, but I couldn't find affordable housing so I settled for working for Jackson Hewitt doing taxes for the busy season. I know what your thinking..isn't that Becca's profession? haha true story she is working at a resort and I'm doing taxes...kind of backwards, but I think I MIGHT be able to make it work. Sitting at a desk all day is already a little much and I've only been working a week, but I can do it. :) If any of you are ever bored feel free to visit me at the Springville Wal-Mart I'm here basically everyday.

A little Haynie olympics :)

Also I ended up finding an apartment right above W4. Hooray! Back in the 61st ward and excited to meet some new people. Kind of weird to be back in Provo, but I think it will be good. I am actually moving in today so that should be fun. Also I just got hired for another job that I can do part-time at the Provo Beach Resort. It just opened in the Riverwoods Mall and I am pretty excited about. Definitely more my type of job and you should definitely all come visit me there because it is a lot of fun! They have surfing, bowling, a ropes course, arcade games, a play place, etc. The closest we can get to the beach in Utah so obviously that's where I belong :) Anyway that's all for now so until next time....

So the above post was clearly started approximately 8 months ago...dont' worry. For some reason it never got posted, but I was just talking to a friend today about keeping a journal and how I'm so bad at it especially when I get behind cause I don't want to try and catch up on all the things I missed. Shaved Ice!! Hokulia is the BEST!

Which now brings us to fall(meaning the school semester, not necessarily the weather). I randomly did a triathlon with Mashay about a month ago and it was a blast. I signed up about 2 days before so I was a little nervous it might not go well, but I loved it! Things have been pretty crazy with football season starting. I usually work events for the football games so that makes football days extremely busy and long, but I am loving it. I am so happy and grateful to be working on BYU campus and it's so fun to be back in Wellington 4. The ward is mostly new and there are lots of fun people. It's crazy and fun to be back in Provo since I wasn't planning on staying here for more than a few months, but I'm enjoying it mostly. :) There are still lots of fun friends here and plenty more to meet.
I have met a lot of fun new friends especially the ones from Zumba. Now for those of you who don't know what Zumba is....it is basically the best thing that every happened to me :) super fun music, crazy fun dancing, tons of friends, AND it's a great workout :) Who knew you could combine all of that into a class taught at the gym!? Not me! Feel free to check out the zumba.com website, and you can find a class near you :) It really is the best. I have met so many amazing and fun people, most of them are married with children...but after being a nanny that's what I know anyway, right? :)

**warning next paragraph is kind of long...all about T-swift :)

Also a most exciting moment in my life happened this past week.....wait for it......(okay some of you might already know...) but I met TAYLOR SWIFT!! Can you even believe it!? Me either! Every time I think about it I feel like it was a dream! AHHH I don't know how I got so lucky! I have been looking forward to her concert ever since her Speak Now album came out last year and I followed her around NYC for a day. They announced the Utah show about 6+ months ago and I've been waiting to get tickets ever since. When the tickets first went on sale it was pretty tragic and I didn't get any so I checked the website everyday this summer waiting for them to release more tickets. The day they went on sale Saryn and I were waiting patiently and the second they went on we bought some. Floor seats, row 19! We couldn't believe it. We were so stoked and I've basically been counting down the days ever since. So this last Wednesday the day finally arrived and let me tell you, I was pretty stoked! Cailey and I made spray paint t-shirts for everybody that said S W I F T and then the number 13 on the back (her favorite number) then we wrote 13 on our hands, etc. We were pretty psyched. Shandi had gotten a ticket for her birthday from my parents so the second she got up to Provo we headed up to SLC to wait outside the arena. We ended up talking to Grant (her guitarist) for a little bit before he went into soundcheck and then just hung around until the show started, meeting other obsessed fans like us, and participating in fun activities going on outside. Saryn and Becca also met up with us there and we went in. When we got to our seats we were so stoked. Now I don't know if you have heard about the T-party's Taylor does after her shows, but I knew all about them and had hoped for a long time that we would get picked, but didn't really know if that was even a possibility. Much to our surprise after she had sang about 2 songs and we had been dancing around singing at the top of our lungs a lady comes over and says "hey you 5 right here, (at this point we all thought we were in trouble) have you ever met Taylor Swift? (in my mind: AHHHHHHHHHHHHH FREAKING OUT) Cailey started screaming and she and Shandi are practically crying. The lady says "have you ever heard of the T-party!? (BAHHHHHH totally freaking out all of us are screaming and so excited) she gives up these wrist bands that say T-party and tells us where to meet after the show. We were all so excited and in shock we could barely listen to the next song. After the show we meet at this portal, there are about 30 of us and we are taken back to the T-party. The T-party is a room set up backstage at every concert similar to her living room at her apt. It has fun furniture, rugs, mirrors, etc. There is pizza, drinks, and cookies, and photo booth. So we all walk back and get settled and then Taylor comes back and we start chanting her name. When she gets in there she takes turns talking to each group, getting a picture, and signing something. AHHHH she was so kind and so great, just like I always thought she would be. We also got to meet and chat with Grant (her guitarist) and Liz (her back up singer) It was seriously a dream come true. We were all wonderstruck :) and definitely enchanted to meet them! I still can't even believe it happened.

Basically my life is pretty great. I feel very blessed and happy :) I have an amazing family and great friends. Conference weekend was wonderful of course, we had the opportunity to sing with a group of people from our stake on temple square before the Saturday morning session for about an hour and a half and then we got to go to conference. It was a really neat experience and I love being in the conference center. We spent today just watching it at our apt, threw a little breakfast for friends and had a great time. Also Cali and Nate are moving to Ohio this next week so we had a little get together with them before they move. So crazy! I am so sad to see them move so far away, but excited for their new adventures! Love and miss them already! We'll see how good I am at keeping this updated, but I'm going to try :)
