Family Pictures

My cute friend Andrea, over at Tea Tree Photography, took some family pictures of us yesterday.

Kindergarten!!!

I seriously can't believe this day has come. Kindergarten!! Grayson has been counting down the days. I feel like we actually had 2 "first days". Monday was his "testing day", and then Tuesday was his real "first day".

I would say he is a little excited......

We are going to be walking to school every day since the school is only 5 minutes away.
(we'll see if I change my mind in a month or so when it is raining every day:)

When we showed up for testing day, he was totally fine. He wrote his name on his name tag, got his picture taken for the "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom" wall, and sat down and played with Mr. Potato head until the rest of the kids were ready. He was totally comfortable and did great! I might have got a little teary eyed, but tried not to show it so he wouldn't get nervous.
When I picked him up on his testing day, his teacher told me that he was a very bright kid.....I totally already knew that, but it makes me feel good as a mom!

Then, it was his real First day!!!

Daddy came home to make the walk with us!

Once again, he wrote his name on his name tag, and went to his "station" and started coloring....no problem!

Anyway, I think we are in for a good year. He is already loving it and that makes us all happy!
