The kids came over this afternoon. Tessie babysat Kota. I am not sure that it wasn't the other way around though.
The two of them spent the afternoon in the bedroom while the rest of us enjoyed Mexican Food and Kid's cartoons.
After they left, I found Tessie trying out her old furniture from the townhouse in the room box that she is working on.
It's pretty boring so far. One bed. One table. One chair....
Did I tell you that, after the townhouse was emptied Rocky Raccoon has taken to his old habits of wandering from place to place, looking for a new place to live...
Unfortunately, he has not changed his habits and still carries a champagne glass wherever he travels...
I found him this afternoon, wandering around the Tudor Trailer with his glass... He is getting so desperate that he was looking into sharing the under trailer cave with the baby dragon... I don't think that is going to work.
The baby dragon keeps trying to set Rocky on fire and merely succeeds in lighting the champagne on fire and taking away all of the alcohol.
Not good for either raccoon or dragon...
I may have to stop what I am doing and find a place for Rocky to live, before he goes up in flames!
I am going to have to get right on that. Maybe a tree house?
Back to work. See you tomorrow.
Don't forget to poke the photos to enlarge!

The Clean Up Crew...
Now that the Skeleton Crew is gone, we of the clean up crew get to work.
I had to take all of the party participants home.
Tessie left Zar where he was. He must be getting old. He fell asleep about 10:00PM. He still hasn't budged. He has Spike to keep him warm.
Tessie actually started cleaning the closet. She announced, "It's much easier without all of those extra aprons.
I have the feeling that she is, as a grandiose gesture, going to give the Skeleton Crew each an apron... I am hoping that will mean that she will let me off the hook for making aprons for a while.
I had to check and make sure that there were no more party goers upstairs.
No party goers, but a very dirty floor.
I spent the morning deep cleaning our real kitchen. The microwave hadn't been moved since well before the cancer came into view. Now that it is gone, I am slowly, but surely getting things in the real house back in order... Step by step.
OK... Another floor that really needs cleaning! The rooftop garden is in bad shape. Rocky Raccoon is still drinking. He seems to do that, party or not. Maybe it's because he has to put up with Tessie all the time.
Anyway, after all of the kitchen cleaning, I am going to wait until tomorrow to do the floors in Tessie's Townhouse. I do them a LOT faster than she does, so she just waits until I am in the mood. Tomorrow Tessie!
See you then!

Rocky Raccoon is in the House.....
I promised you the pattern for the beanbag chairs today. Here you go!
If you enlarge it to the point that the length of the narrower pattern is 4 1/4" long and the wider one is 4 1/2", you will have two different shapes. I have always preferred the narrower one, but someone may want a larger one. Take your choice.
I haven't had a chance to hunt up the example yet....It's somewhere around here. I will try to get a photo by tomorrow.
Meanwhile, have at it. It is simple enough to do and you can refer to the photos from yesterday, if need be.
First you cut out the pattern pieces. Be sure to leave a seam allowance. It isn't included in the pattern. I usually do it 1/8" if I am doing the stitching by hand and 1/4" if by machine.
First stitch all of the long seams into a tube. Then starting with the top, pin and sew the piece to the smaller neck of the tube, wrong sides together. Do the same with the larger end leaving at least one section of the panels open. You have to turn it right side out, fill it and then stitch the last of the seam by hand. Not my favorite part.
I usually use either salt or sand to fill pillows and beanbags in miniature. Be sure to fill it enough so that it will have a nice shape when someone sits in it. Don't over stuff it. If you do that, you won't be able to wiggle around and make a nest in it. I would say maybe about 2/3 full. You may have to experiment a bit. Just sit it on the table upside down, with the opening at the top and start filling....You should be able to tell when there is enough.
Rosanna of La Stanza Di Guiggiola http://lastanzadigiuggiola.blogspot.com/ helped me out with a comment yesterday. The correct name for this chair is a Fracchia chair. It's from a popular comic movie in Italy. I am going to go look around for some more info now that I have a clue where to look. Thanks for the lead Rosanna!
Now....About that title. I finally got even with Tessie for all of her harassing. I brought home a raccoon for her to contend with this morning.
I found him running around Target and asked if he liked tomatoes.....He does!
That should keep Tessie busy until I can find the Fraccia chair example. Wish me luck.
See you tomorrow.
