It was bittersweet leaving the hospital. The hospital staff was so good to us and the babies could be checked out by them when we had any concerns (new parent syndrome)! However we were so excited to bring the babes home. When we left our hospital room you would have thought Preston and Claire were celebrities! Once we figured out the car seats (it took us forever, for one we were ametuers, secondly the twins were so small we panicked) we were off!
Our babies arrived on June 26, 2005. Preston beat his sister to the punch and arrived at 7:43a.m. (4lbs,5oz) , Claire was born at 8:01a.m.(5lbs,1oz.). Both babies were born healthy and strong. Although Mom was pooped we couldn't have asked for a better outcome! They are angels.
