More pictures for my walls, success

I noticed my friend Jenna had taken beautiful pictures for her blog. I asked her to take some photos of my family. She is extremely talented and her hubby too! I love these photographs and I can't believe their mine. Thank you forever more.

Of course they think it's funny the baby is eating dirt
I think I like my head chopped off

Ballet

To say Claire enjoyed her dance class is a understatement. She professed her love to me more than ever before. She hugged me when she saw her ballet clothes and begged me to keep them on after class. During her last class they had a 15 minute recital. That girl smiled for the full 15 minutes. It was like she was floating. I couldn't stop smiling either!
These girls are so adorable together.
Preston happily waiting in front of the television.Thank you Nichole for coming with me to watch the boys.

Three Lakes Nature Park

We checked out a new park today with some friends. The big climbing rock was impressive and scary.

Girl's Trip

Our county offers awesome programs through the parks and recreation. It is a luxury for us while we are living the student life. In April they offered a day trip to James Madison's Montpelier and Jefferson's Monticello. We had  travel guides, transportation, and a lunch at Michie Tavern. I forgot my camera so these are pictures from Brittany and Christen, thanks ladies.

The fun crew. Brittany, Lissa, Marcie, Nichole, Chisten, and Me
Brittney captured the essence of the Madisons. I was quite impressed with them.

Their home was just recently restored. In one room they left some of the original walls exposed. It was amazing to see the way it was built. They were still working on getting the interior furnishings back or close to the originals, but I kind of liked seeing it in it's raw form.

Can you tell we were starting to get hungry?
Off to Michie Tavern for a old fashioned lunch, yum.

The tulips were in bloom at Monticello.

These girls are leaving us soon. Sob.

We tried on all of the time period hats in the gift shop, the one of us wearing lace bonnets was just too cute to post. The day went by way too fast, but it was a blast. The husbands were great to watch the kids.
