2 Hot 2 Squabble

Dennis: It's SO freakin' HOT today! Why isn't the air conditioning on???



Dennis: Let me tell you, Ched, I have lived through times hotter than this even, and before we had central air!




Ched: How hot was it?



Dennis: Well, it was back before you were born. It was the very last day of a cold wet April, and suddenly, Wham! It was like 90 degrees! It went on for a week! It was misery! (whisper whisper whisper)





Dennis and Ched: Please turn on the air conditioning!

Dennis Says: Enjoy a Kitten Pic!

Dennis hasn't been doing anything but napping lately. Dennis has the blahs. Dennis flirted with a cat named Crystal then found out Crystal was not a girl cat. Nothing happened, there was no hug or kiss even, so Crystal is not offended. But the incident didn't help moral at Chez Dennis. (more confusion and self doubt.)


As for the kitten pic, Dennis was shaped like a long skinny tube with long legs. It's hard to find pictures that show this, since Dennis spent much of his kitten hood curled up in a basket, so people would say "awww...kitten in a basket..." everytime they passed by.

Dennis Reflects

Dennis says he has been reflecting on his life.He is thinking he might be mellowing out just a little bit. He thinks he might be able to commit to being mellow every Saturday and alternating Tuesdays.


Dennis was a nice enough kitten. He loved to get attention and could not get enough head pats and tummy rubs. He was picky about food from day one and would casually go on a hunger strike for a week if necessary. Dennis feels food must be savory and presentation is important also. He needed a lot of 'alone time' too, because he was prone to little bouts of depression. He had mood swings and could be very demanding. He once complained so frequently and so loudly, that he lost his voice for a few months. Dennis was still popular with all of the humans despite his moodiness because who doesn't like a kitten jumping into their lap and falling asleep? Who doesn't like a kitten who snuggles up to you and looks at you admiringly? Dennis is still that kitten. He knows how to show love to humans.
He never bites, and he's a gentleman at the Dr.'s office. (putty in the Vet's hands.)

YEEEOW ARRRGGH!

Dennis screams for the loss of his dreams.

Dennis is OK now and understands that Daisy is lost to him forever. She loves another. Dennis will retreat. Dennis has done a lot of personal work this past week. He has stopped being mean and spiteful with Chedwick and the two have actually played a few games of scrabble together without incident. Dennis went through hell with this LOVE business and is trying to sort things out: What is Life all About? Dennis is glad Chedwick was there for him in his dark hours of the soul. Irritating at times, but there as a good friend.
