Dennis Needs More Time

Dennis says Henry would be a sweet little lamb or a bunny and would like to be cuddled.

Dennis says Eddy would be a stubborn donkey or a busy make trouble monkey.




Dennis says Jeffrey would be a human animal and have a job--Jeffrey would have places to go and other human animals to see. Jeffrey would have appointments and go shopping, too.



Dennis says little Bob Dylan would be himself. A small cat.





Dennis is not sure what Dennis would be, but Dennis admits to be sort of goatlike --going through the trash, eating non-edibles, making loud goaty noises.

Dennis needs to take a break. Dennis will post again when Dennis feels like it.

Teasing Eddy

Henry is hiding behind a door, trying to "bozzer Eddy" as Eddy would say...


Eddy refuses to be bozzered.


Henry is doing the bozzering.


But Dennis is the mastermind behind Henry's actions.

Dennis Says it is Hard to Say Farewell

Dennis was so upset and sad to discover that his tuxedo cat friend, Mortimer C. had passed away. Dennis says death (especially a cat death) really freaks Dennis out, and Dennis is very sad and sends condolences to Mort's family in California. Dennis loves you.

Dennis Discusses Decorating

Dennis could talk for days about decorating. Dennis says cats need to get exercise and to have comfy places to nap. Dennis says not only should every room be safe for cats, rooms should also be absolutely cat-friendly.

Dennis says

Dennis has so many decorating tips...

Keep all surfaces clean and clutter-free so cats have full access. Dennis says windows should not be encumbered with heavy curtains or dangerous blinds -- cats like full access to views. Invest in cat towers, tunnels, toys, and beds. Keep closets clean and nap-friendly. Give cats plenty of cupboard space.

Dennis Puts the Spotlight on Bob

Bob was born in 2002 in Pine Island, New York. The animal rescuer named him Bob Dylan because he was born on May 24th. (She had a calendar of celebrity birthdays.) Bob is curious and playful. He also loves music and attention.

Bob had most of his teeth removed due to an infection but his fangs are intact.

Bob is a typical lap cat who loves to be brushed.

Dennis is Nonplussed

Dennis wonders why the new guy always gets marvelous toys (like the cool tunnel behind Dennis)


Dennis says Henry also got a catnip paint brush and palette.
Dennis says Dennis never got cool toys like this!


Dennis says it's so unfair that the new guy has his own keyboard (with sounds like zither and trumpet and even cowbell!) Dennis was amazed that Henry could play "When the Saints go Marching in" perfectly until Henry explained it was programmed into the toy. Dennis says so many things are puzzling him these days.

Dennis says Henry is No Big Deal

Dennis says the newness has worn off and it feels like Henry has always been here.


Dennis says Henry is a good guy, but no big deal.

Dennis says "It's a Trick!"

Dennis says if you get too close, Henry will put you in a headlock.

Dennis Eats and Sleeps

Dennis says Henry is an okay guy. Dennis "forgot" it was Yom Kippur and ate. Dennis says it was just a little nosh.


Dennis takes a little shluff in the cupboard above the refrigerator after his little nosh.

Dennis says "We are Blessed"

Henry (left) says: "This um... green thing is MINE ! "
Bobby (right) explains patiently " Okay, but we can share."


Dennis has learned from Jeffrey to be "unruffled". To really be top cat, you must not get involved in any drama. You must walk away from the petty competition, gossip, and backbiting, and be dignified. We are all alpha here. Dennis says we are all delighted with the newest addition to our family, a kitten named Henry.


Henry is a Taurus and his hobbies include breakfast in bed, , surfing the web in bed, toys, books, pillows & snuggling. (Even Eddy got along with Henry immediately!)

Dennis Admits to Getting Along

Dennis says, Okay, Yes, it's True. Although Eddy can be unpredictable at times, Dennis loves Eddy.

Dennis says due to much photo evidence, Dennis is forced to admit to getting along pretty well with Eddy. Dennis still grooms Eddy. Dennis also gets groomed by Eddy. Dennis and Eddy sometimes cuddle and nap together.

Dennis Wonders About Scary Eddy

Dennis says Eddy is scary in a psychological thriller kind of way. Dennis thinks Eddy has a scary face.


Dennis says *Papa Lazarou is scary in a horrible but still funny kind of way. Dennis loves The Beeb. Dennis wonders about scariness.



Dennis says the other cats get along fine with Eddy, and Dennis says this is a true puzzle. Eddy is pretty scary and Dennis wonders why the other cats don't notice this! (Eddy shown here snuggling with Jeff)

Dennis Loves this Old Toy

Dennis likes this very old toy mouse that hangs on doorknobs and makes a noise.


Dennis says every cat plays with this mouse except for Eddy, who tries to break it occasionally, which is probably not the same thing as playing with it.

Dennis says no cat is too old to play with toys.

Dennis Talks About Bullying

Dennis  has learned so much about getting along with others. Dennis now knows it takes a huge effort, but is worth it. Dennis wants things to improve and stay improved. Dennis never noticed anything wrong with bullying when Dennis was in charge of all bullying. Now that Eddy is bullying Dennis nonstop, Dennis has decided that bullying is bad. Very very bad.

Official Bullying Statistics:

* The American Feline Justice Department says that this month 1 out of every 4 cats will be abused by another cat.

*Surveys Show That 77% of cats are bullied mentally, verbally, & physically. "Stinkypants" is a popular verbal taunt, mental bullying includes denying access to catnip mice and balls with bells inside them. Physical bullying can include serious biting and scratching.

*In a recent study, 77% of the cats said they had been bullied. And 14% of those who were bullied said they experienced severe (bad) reactions to the abuse.

*1 out of 5 cats admits to being a bully at some point in their lives.

*8% of cats spend 1 day per month under the bed for fear of being bullied.

*43% fear harassment in the litter box area.

* More than 500,000 cats have access to a handgun.

* Most cat violence occurs when humans are not at home.

* Every 7 minutes a cat is bullied. Human intervention - 4%. Other cat intervention - 11%. No intervention - 85%.

Dennis has a Vicious Cycle

Dennis now knows it is all in his head. Dennis blames Eddy. Dennis blames Television. Dennis blames Fancy Feast, Dennis blames this high-pressure society, Dennis blames...



(All of the test results are back from the medical labs -- Dennis is in decent physical health, which will only improve when Dennis loses the anxiety and the extra weight.)

Dennis Struggles

Dennis heard the word "obese" mentioned while his team of doctors were discussing his many health issues. Dennis was highly offended at being called obese and decided to sue for slander. Dennis was going to call his lawyer, Stanford Fellowship, but Dennis remembered that one of Mr. Fellowship's nicer nicknames for Dennis was "Fat Lazy Bastard". Dennis realized that facts are facts. Dennis has been eating and resting to calm his stress. Dennis has a LOT of stress.




Dennis says it's time to do some crunches and get back to his old sleek physique of 2008.



Dennis can't even do one crunch. Dennis will hire a personal trainer with a feather stick or something. No crunches!

Dennis is Frazzled

Dennis is nervous and tense and anxious. Dennis feels like someone is always behind him, staring or something. Eddy thinks Dennis should be medicated.




Dennis is worried he might be turning into a paranoid. It DOES feel like someone is always behind him, watching him or something. Bobby thinks Dennis just needs more spa treatments.
