Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan pay under 16% in Taxes. I would say they rountinely pay even less than that, but as Willard Mitt Romney refuses to reveal his tax returns prior to 2010, we can only reasonably infer Romney made Hundreds of Millions by eliminating American jobs, closing American factories, while he got millions in tax subsidies and corporate welfare from the George W(orst President Ever) Bush's reverse-robin hood Tax schemes.

But, Romney and Ryan really shouldn't pay any taxes because they are the "Job Creators". They are the Elect. They are the Social Darwinian Champions.

Only workers need to be pay taxes. Hopefully, as the Coal Miners from Murray Energy learned, it will be Mandatory to Vote your Bosses Pocketbook and a new tax on the Middle Class and Poor titled The Pleasure for Working and Voting for Romney Tax will be enacted.

Mitt Romney tould CBS News Scott Pelley what Government programs he'd cut. Romney rattled off, "the subsidy for PBS*, the subsidy for Amtrak, the subsidy for the National Endowment for the Arts, the subsidy for the National Endowment for the Humanities."

Listening to Romney glibly discussing his plans to cut nickels from the Federal Budget what is more apparent and has been revealed often by Romney is his plan to turn the United States into a Giant Wealth Sucking Machine.

Willard Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan will lower taxes on the 1%, raise them on the Middle Class and Poor, cut programs which aid the Middle Class and eliminate any and all regulations which hamper the small cadre of Elites, with whom they associates, to steal Trillions of Dollars from Us and funnel it into their off-shore Cayman Island and Swiss bank accounts.

It's not that Romney or any Republican wants to limit the size of Government. No what they want to do is to convince enough people to Vote away their own Rights and Benefits. Those Rights and Benefits will be lost but the monies won't be. Instead Billions of dollars which should go to 99% of the American people will then easily be transitioned into the pocketbooks of the Wealthy.

A Vote for Romney is a vote for his Tax Plan which raises the tax burden on the Middle Class and lowers it on the Rich. While not lowering any of the Government handouts to the Corporate Moochers. So you pay more in taxes and Romney gives that money to Corporations are People, my friend who then hide that money in their off-shore bank accounts.

A Vote for Romney is a vote to transfer Social Security into Wall Street, from whence it can be gambled away and lost into the bank accounts of Sheldon Adelson.

A Vote for Romney is a vote to transfer public lands and mineral rights into the hands of the Koch Brothers, who having no vested interest in keeping those lands pristine will rape, despoil and pollute the land and extract the funds for their private use.

A Vote for Romney is a vote to chain yourself and your prosperity into the shackles of Wage Slavery and Corporate Bondage.

She's used campaign funds for personal benefit and expenses, just like her idol the Queen Wicked Conservative Witch Sarah Palin. But It's Okay she's a Republican!



O'Donnell not only has the lack of ethics and criminal past like Sarah Palin, she has the vacant look and stilted speech patterns of the Cadre of Conservative Wicked Witches Palin, Michele Bachmann, Marsha Blackburn, Virginia Foxx and Sharon Angle. Palin and Bachmann, most likely, with their mangled words, choppy deliveries and inability to process language, have learning disabilities and it's a testament to the ability of public school teachers that they manage to operate.

And the Queen Wicked Witch of the North Sarah Palin has advised her nominal protege to only speak through Fox News. And why not? Fox is a one-stop shop in which Conservatives can receive a salary, softball interviews and as much time as needed to expound their scripted anti-Middle Class, anti-Poor Plutocratic Talking Points.

But, despite all the rigamarole the Tea Party is nothing more than an attempt to quicken the Republican Party. It's controlled by the same Republican Operatives and it's fueled by the same agenda as it has been for the last 80 years. The telling and salient point is the clear fact that almost every Tea Party candidate are lawyers or career politicians who have never had a real job and have never done a day's worth of real labor.

Here in Illinois the 8th District Tea Party nominee is William "Joe" Walsh running against somewhat Democrat Melissa Bean. Walsh is a teacher (+1) and has worked helping disadvantaged children in Chicago (+1) but has morphed into a career politician having run for office in 1996 and 1998. Back in the 90's, he attempted to distance himself from his Colonial Master Newt Gingrich and the 1994 Republican Bigots by claiming to be socially liberal and fiscally conservative. But, all of sudden now he's troubled by Government and Walsh has joined and proudly acknowledges the Tea Party so either his claims of being socially liberal were a lie then or now. Joe Walsh also has some shady background aspects as his Illinois Driver's License has been suspended at least once.

It's the same with Christine O'Donnell. She has run for office over and over and over. And she has said things either for shock value "blood soaked satanic altar" or to buttress her bigoted intolerant christian dominionist beliefs. But, the Teabaggers are dupes, imbeciles and hypocrites.

IOKIYAR. And so it goes...

Of the Tea Party candidates who spoke at the 2010 CPAC, Marco Rubio a favorite Tea bagger went into politics as soon as he was done with law school. Tim Pawlenty, the beloved Dark Horse Republican candidate for President, has had a Government job since 1988. So according to Tea Bag logic he's been unemployed for 22 years since the Government doesn't create jobs. And isn't the lack of military service and being a DC Lawyer and career politician what the Tea Party claims is wrong with Democrats and Washington DC?

And so it goes... the Tea Baggers are being used by the Republicans. Certainly they will make inroads and get a few maybe even several dozen candidates elected for a term or three but it will all end the same. The Republicans will hem and haw push an occasional social issue to the forefront but never get around to outlawing gay marriage or abortions while ensuring the Agenda of the Koch Brothers and the Other Moneyed Masters of the Nation dominates and destroys the Working and Middle Class.

Glenn Beck is a vile racist. Glenn's fans and supporters are racist bigots and christian white fascists; the Conservative Tearrorists. Beck has spent everyday since President Obama was elected whipping up their 'white fear'. His whole show is predicated on playing on the racist ignorance of christian fascists. He invites the ignorant bigot Sarah Palin who tweets a racist should "reload" and continue calling black persons the n-word epithet. He wants his racist followers to take back America from black persons and minorities.

That there are Americans, who after hearing someone claim that god is speaking to them, would weigh that claim as positive evidence for the truthfulness of the speaker is sad and disturbing.

The Bulls did end up losing to the Celtics in Game 7 of a very exciting playoff series. Too bad, however, the Bulls players did not resort to cheap shots on the Celtic players in order to win the game or in retaliation for the Celtics dirty play through the series, mainly by Rajon Rondo.

What struck me as pertienent was the Bulls’ fans reactions to the perceived injustice in the foul calling. The actions of Rondo were against the rules and the spirit of the game. When the fans saw his actions were not be penalized they wished the Bulls players would exact some measure of revenge.

Humans have an evolved sense of right and wrong. What the fans wanted was a variation of the Tit-for-Tat, Retaliator or other system given to the evolutionary defense mechanism of reciprocal altruism.

Tit-for-Tat is not the best strategy ever and has been defeated but only when others have worked out detailed attempts to specifically defeat it. The one I favor and have used (playfully) is nicknamed Grim. Grim punishes cheats with ETERNAL vengeance. I do seem to recall "someone" else favoring the Grim strategy.

College Republicans and Chickenhawk Warmongers prove Evolution

Cowards (e.g. College Republicans) who champion war without any intention of risking their own flabby asses are proof of evolution.

It's an extremely successful strategy, in which their genes convince them to start or support a fight and then they allow other men to go off and do the fighting. That way the Cowards, a.k.a. College Republicans increase their chances at copulation from none to slim.

So, I'm not going to be too mad at the College Republicans because they can't help that they're cowards, it's their nature.

However, I recommend you read Army of Dude. He is doing a much better job of eloquently expressing and highlighting the unfair burden shouldered by those who have been repeatedly activated whilst Cowardly War Proponents (College Republicans) skulk around twittering.

The Two Truths Theory

The 200th anniversary of the birth of Charles Darwin approaches and those who seek to roll back knowledge to the Dark Ages are busily at work trying to litigate mythology into the teaching of Biology, Geology, Anthropology, Paleontology, Astronomy, Medicine and Education. Namely, science is false because it disagrees with holy revelation.

But, I do have a memo from the 12th century to the Creationists out there: Science and Religion are not incompatible.

At least so say the Medieval Scholastics. Those men when faced with reality and the newly rediscovered works of the Ancient Greeks understood revelation could not account for the observable world and, in order to reconcile their myths with reality, crafted several philosophical edifices to buttress their beliefs.

The most famous was the attempt by Thomas Aquinas to reconcile the "truth" of revelation with empirical observable fact by using reason to prove the existence of god. However, Aquinas is disingenuous because what he was attempting to do was shoe horn Aristotle and evidence from the real world into the corset of Catholicism. He already knows the "truth". His appeals to reason are to reach an already revealed conclusion.

More impressive than Aquinas were the Averroists, after the muslim Ibn Rushd, who created the the Dual Truth Theory of Reason and revelation. There is one truth shown by the observable world and another through holy revelation and the human mind is not capable of merging the two, due to it's inherent limitations. Of course, the muslin fanatics had him condemned for placing reason on par with faith and as a result the engine of scientific advancement passed from islam unto the West.

And there in lies the interesting parallel. For the modern creationists are attempting to accomplish the same work the Berbers of the 13th century. Destroy the upstart philosophers and return the holy word to prominence.

If, Darwin, Wallace and those who've built modern science upon their theories, disagree with the bible? Then, the theories are incorrect and need be burned.

The researchers, from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, say they have unearthed 7600 dinosaur bones since March in Shandong province. Hmmm, since March you say? Obviously the Commies have been making fake bones, sticking them in the ground and uncovering them after aging them.

Detailed information on the fossil find is not expected to be published in scientific journals until later in 2009. And why? Because the clear falsity of the dinosaur plaster molds would be uncovered by William Demski or Denise O'Leary.

The scientists hope the find will help to explain why the creatures died out. Well, that can be explained very easily. World Wide Flood killed all the Behemoth(s) of the bible.

I can only hope as we delve into the Year of the Darwin (sounds strangely like the way the Chinese Communists use their calendar the year of this or that...) that Eviloution will be destroyed and children in all levels of schooling in America will be able to respond to every question with the ontological answer: God did It.

No wonder The McCain Camp and The Extremist Christianist Base did not want Sarah Palin interviewed. She's a Warmongering Zealot who doesn't know what War she wants to Monger for, God's Holy War in Babylon, going to War with Iran on behalf of Israel, defending NATO "ally" Georgia against Russia, jaunting over into Pakistan...

Bush Doctrine? Why Charlie, what do you mean? Go to WAR with Russia? Absolutely, American interests must be served! The Iraq War is a Task from God? Oh no! It's unhinged diatribes like these which can not be allowed to stand. The Troops are not a monolithic body. And you can only love the Troops by supporting their leader and by natural conclusion his War.

Chuck's use of langauge is also insulting. He's done two tours in Iraq? When he was in his 20's Chuck made sure he didn't rejoin the Air Force to do two tours in Vietnam.

For Chuck it's simple. It's a Holy War. Chuck is on the National Council on Bible Curriculum in Public Schools, he wants the Bible enshrined in classrooms.

I agree. Directly after learning the Greek Myths children should have the option of an elective course on Judeo-Christian Myths. Of course, Chuck doesn't see it that way.

For Chuck the Bible is a Science Text Book because, "educational arenas have become limited learning environments because of biases against God, the Bible and creationism."

I've always wondered if Creationists think all those Biology, Anthropology, Geology, Archeology Teachers who support, teach or reference Evolution are simply gullible or part of some vast conspiracy. I've got an answer. Evolution: The Big Hoax! It's the Darwin Conspiracy!

According to the site The Theory of Evolution has three fatal flaws. The best being Babies. Babies are proof Evolution is impossible. And here I thought Babies were proof the Second Law of Thermodynamics should fall flat on it's metaphorical face. Do you dare visit the Darwin Conspiracy and learn the other two?

But,a real treat is The Conservapedia. A Wiki for those who like to read Right wing news to reinforce their preconceived ideas, which is, of course, not a right/left issue but a human brain failing.

The Conservapedia entry on the Theory of Evolution is interesting... One of the great all-time thinkers in mankind's history, Archimedes, didn't support the Theory of Evolution therefore Evolution isn't true. Archimedes was brilliant one of the three greatest thinkers in history. But, here goes... It's possible Archimedes may have developed a theory of Evolution but we'll never know because ignorant Monks in the 13th century scrubbed away Archimedes great works and inscribed silly fairy tales on them.

The Scientific Legacy of Faith

I often speak with my smarter friends. Usually they just invite me over to move heavy things, then pat me on the head when I flex my pre-hominid brain and make observations on the world. During one recent conversation on Evolution my friend asked me if I recalled being taught anything about it during High School. I could only recall it being briefly mentioned in freshman biology. Today of course, we have the open assault on reason by the Library burning fanatics of religion but it seems my school quietly self-censored the teaching of science 20 years ago to head off the descent of wackos.

Of course, the enemies of reason never stand pat. Those hateful of science will never stop the stunting of man's mind and use every means at their disposal to tell other men what to think and what to shun. So, we stand at a divide in which we can proceed with rationality or we can fall back to lightning worship and the conclusions reached by bronze age desert nomads..

Anyway L. Sprague de Camp observed the Christian and Islamic worlds faced this choice over 800 years ago. As he wrote,

The pious and learned Saint Thomas (1225-74) spent much of his life arguing, at enormous length and in tiny illegible handwriting, that there was no conflict between science and religion; that all truth was one, and that therefore Aristotle's logic must fit the Christian faith. In fact, Saint Thomas promoted Aristotle to a kind of pre-Christian saint.

The pious and learned Ghazzali (1058-1111) also studied science and philosophy of the Greeks but came to different conclusions. After mature and searching consideration, he decided that these studies were harmful, because they shook men's faith in God and undermined religion; "they lead to loss of belief in the origin of the world and in the creator."

Europe followed Saint Thomas, while Islam followed Ghazzali. For example, in 1150 the Khalifah of the moment proved his piety by burning the books of the philosophical library of Baghdad. As a result of the diverging rends, science and technology flowered in Europe so richly and advaced so swiftly that the rest of the world is still breathlessly trying to catch up. On the other hand, science in Islam withered away.

The real irony is Ghazzali was right and Saint Thomas wrong. Science does shake men's faith in God and undermine religion. It has been doing so for many years and shows every sign of continuing to do so.

Cowardice and Using the Military are in the DNA of Republicans

In pre-historical times, warfare was limited by the lack of logistics, weaponry, transportation, lack of ideological motivations. Warfare mainly consisted of tribal fights or raids on supplies or women.

During the battles, some men held back during the fighting knowing that if they contributed less than the more ferocious fighters they would have less chance of being injured or killed and consequently would have access to the spoils of war afterwards, i.e. food and women. Which would mean the cowardly types would have a better chance of passing along their cowardly genes to the next generation.

In some cases you can easily observe the out and out cowardice of Republicans, for instance Dick Cheney and his five deferments or Rush Limbaugh and his ass cyst, not serving a day in the military. Or peruse the list of these noted Chicken Hawks here.

However, often the cowards are craftier. Sometimes they'll serve but they will ensure they are thousands of miles away from combat or safely ensconced in a unit which has no fear of deploying to a forward area like the buffoonish liar occupying the white house.

And that partially explains Tipsy Canoe. Prescott Bush served honorably in World War I but of course he had to lie and claim to be highly decorated in battle. Now unfortunately, the honorable genes of Prescott didn't make it to his grandson but the genes for working with dictatorships and making money off of the Banking/Military Industrial Complex are replete in the DNA of The Commander Guy.

So in order to cover their cowardly demeanors and Republicans have always glommed onto and used the military for their purposes by "claiming" to honor and support service men and veterans, while exploiting the natural affinity the American people have to support their armed forces.

Of course, Bush and the other Chicken Hawk Warmongers know nothing of the problems, dangers, evils, hardships faced by those who have served in combat zone. Nor do they care. Suicides, PTSD, skyrocketing Divorce rates, lack of proper health care, multiple tours of duty, home foreclosures are no big deal it's not them or their families suffering these things. To The Schizophrenic Decider veterans and soldiers are props to make him look good and cheer his unintelligble speeches.

The Expelled Rigamrole

Well, this post was supposed to be done a few days ago, I don't know what happened. So the news is old, in the modern understanding of old news.

As many people know, Mark Mathis, the producer of Expelled in a fit of hypocritical irony expelled Professor PZ Myers out of the waiting line to see the movie. But, apparently did not recognize Richard Dawkins, whom PZ Myers had listed as an invited attendee. Dawkins sums up the events in a post named Lying for Jesus?

First the basic premise of evolution, all life on earth (including mankind) have a common ancestry and we have inherited traits passed to us from previous generations is correct. Teach the controversy is a misnomer. Intelligent Design is better understood under the apt and accurate description, "Creationism in a Cheap Tuxedo".

The "controversy" is nothing less than the attempts by those with an agenda of pushing biblical account of the creation of the earth and man. It's been well documented under the "Wedge Strategy" and comments and columns by ardent ID supporters like Bill Dembski (If ID and creationism aren't the same why all the references to god and the bible?).

One of the funniest and disheartening things about the Evolution "controversy" is basic ignorance of reasoning and logic. Let us postulate Evolution is false, does that make Intelligent Design true? The answer is no, there could be a third or fourth or n number of other mechanisms currently unknown to the minds of mankind which account for the origin of life.

I always recommend reading all viewpoints and not prejudging things without watching them for yourself. But I'm reminded one should have an open mind but not so open as one's brains fall out. Rehashing the same tired attempts to link Darwin and Hitler is not a theory I need to rebut again. Having Ben Stein claim "god did it" is not science. Julia Sweeney has some comments on her view of the intellectual Ben Stein. And worst of all, invoking Galileo who was forced to recant his scientific views by Religious Authority is tawdry. I'm not going to watch the Expelled movie, but don't say I didn't warn you about your brain slurping out of your ear canal if you choose to...

Anyway the Expelled brouhaha continues to be laughable. Over at the Uncommodescent blog, the Intelligent Designers decided to add an new level of guesswork to their fantastical imaginations. DaveScot postulated why PZ Myers was expelled: An RSVP system was in work and "I’d guess it’s because Myers was vigorously exercising his anti-religious potty mouth loud enough to offend other guests and someone complained while the other members in Myers’ anti-Christ crusader party were exercising a modicum of discretion."

And there it is. I guess. Awesome. DaveScot doesn't have any evidence to support his slander about PZ Myers behavior he just guesses. It works perfectly to describe intelligent design as well. Slander, lie and guesses.

Mike Huckabee, If you believe in one fairy tale why not others!

So, Huckabee who knows that Science is wrong because it changes whilst the eternal word of the Lord is, well, eternal also believes the Right Wing Fantasy that Saddam secreted his weapons into Syria or Jordan (Huckabee is a little ignorant of geography).

Well, why not. Since Huckabee believes in the fairy tale of religion why not hold to the fairy tale Saddam loaded his weapons onto the WMD Train to Syria (or Jordan)...



I think someone should send Mr. Huckabee an essay from Isaac Asimov entitled "The Relativity of Wrong".

From the essay: "When people thought the earth was flat, they were wrong. When people thought the earth was spherical, they were wrong. But if you think that thinking the earth is spherical is just as wrong as thinking the earth is flat, then your view is wronger than both of them put together."

And therein lies Huckabee's ignorance concerning science. Huckabee proscribes to the something muat be 100% right or 100% wrong theory. And if Evilutionists can not produce an absolute and complete picture then the theory is wrong. Scientific theories start as ideas and are continuously refined until such times as a more refined theory holds sway or a new idea is introduced. It is the blinkered, arrogant Religious who proclaim they have the COMPLETE and FINAL truth which can never be changed.

Two Big Assets of the Rational Response Squad.

I first became aware of the Rational Response Squad when the group trounced Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort on a Nightline debate in which Cameron and Comfort set out to prove the existence of god. The "debate" wasn't even close. Cameron and Comfort trotted out the standard canard of everything has a creator and a picture of a "Croc-a-duck", but eventually could not produce the scientific evidence of god they claimed existed and ended up falling back on the words of the so-called living god and his book. I can only assume they meant Mithras.

As I watched the video I realized Kelly, besides being intelligent, is really, really hot and possesses some other impressive assets besides a brain. Wow.

Apparently at some point the Internet became aware of Kelly's great body and have been attempting to get a better look. The RRS put together a page making fun of the googling of Kelly and her boobs. The page is funny, but also points out some of those searching for Kelly do so not to gaze at her impressive rack or read her writing denouncing irrational beliefs but to issue her threats.
