Just Despicable Vance was quick to add no taking guns away!  As always, the only Republican solution to gun violence in America is more guns; it's just a fact of life.  For his part Trump didn't mention the Georgia shooting because he can't keep a new thought in his head.  Senile Trump's spongy brain can't muster a coherent response to the simplest of question but the last time he spoke about a school shooting he simply shrugged and "We have to get over it". 

It was always obvious "Thoughts & Prayers" was a tacit admission by Republicans that they intend to do nothing, absolutely nothing, about mass shootings in general and shootings at schools in particular.  In fact, in response to shootings Republicans have always made getting guns easier and senile traitor Trump bragged about resisting pressure to pass any gun law.

“Donald Trump and JD Vance will always choose the [National Rifle Association] and gun lobby over our children,” said Harris campaign spokesman Ammar Moussa. “That is the choice in this election.”

The father Colin Gray of the latest school shooter "Colt" bought his son an AR15 after the FBI had informed local law enforcement in 2023 Colt made multiple on-line declarations about conducting a school mass shooting.

Republicans ideas about enforcement encapsulate everything wrong with their thinking.  Brian Kemp praised law enforcement and declared, "today is not the day for politics and policy".  Get fucked Kemp,  you've been in power as the Secretary of State and Governor for 15 years, if you were going to do "policy" you'd have done it by now.

It's still utterly shameless that the Corporate Media allows Republicans to get away with this 'Let's heal first, then we'll tackle politics' and then never follows up when Republicans simply never get around to it.  I've seen enough of these shootings to know the Media and Republicans love to broadcast the after images of a bunch of Cops and speciality response units standing around with an (unused) AR15 slung across their chest, while the solemn journalists talks solemnly about the tragedy.  It's the theater they love;  the caring politician calling for unity, myth of the Good Guy with a Gun and the easy solemn media coverage. 

In 2022, when Beto O'Rourke was speaking about the Uvalde massacre during his unsuccessful campaign against the murderous Republican governor Greg Abbott, a gun humping Abbott supporter was laughing and heckling him, O'Rourke responded to the heckler in the most appropriate way, "It may be funny to you motherfucker, but, it's not funny to me..."  Republicans love gun rampages because it keeps their gun nut quotient of voters in a constant lather of fear and anger and ready to buy more guns and vociferously attack anyone who questions the sanity of American gun culture.  

Besides, his searing-white hatred for women, Just Dishonorable Vance couldn't care less if your child or loved one is gunned down in school.  And Republicans have no ideas, no solutions, and not a care about guns and mass shootings and simply offer up the three things they've always offered; empty thoughts and worthless prayers and more guns always More Guns.

Kamala Harris and Tim Walz have plans to tackle gun violence, even if you don't agree with them, they have something to offer.  Incoherent Trump and Just Despicable Vance proudly offer We, the People nothing other than you better accept school shootings as "a fact of life".

We have to defeat these vile monsters in November because what Trump,Vance, and the MAGA movement have planned for America is nothing less than the mass murder of millions and the enslavement of the rest of Us.

The shooter is apparently dead, two other people were shot one killed, and Donald Trump is not seriously injured.

The Boomers have been yearning for a return to their youth and the 1960's and today's shooting may be the catalyst to bring back the turmoil, violence, and era of civil unrest.

Already we have seen Police Departments act as their Grandfather's did in rousting and beating student protestors.  Trump's constant vile rhetoric has introduced so much latent violence into the Nation since his full-throated entry into Politics in 2015. 

Greg Abbott, the slimy Texas bastard, appears to be the first prominent Republican to insinuate a plot by Twitting "They tried to kill him."

And...... just like that J.D. Vance (who is considered the front runner for Vice President) has now concocted a conspiracy implicating President Biden.

Mike Collins (Republican Traitor in Georgia) declared, "Biden did this, we must retaliate."

I will await the full investigation and details surrounding the shooter before wildly speculating about motivation.  At this point, I know the response will be terrible.  Of course, it will start with the more unhinged conservative conspirators, but quite frankly major conservative groups like the Heritage Foundation have already laid out a roadmap of extreme state-sponsored terrorism and violence, while rightwingers across the Nation have been promising to enact revenge and hurt millions if given a chance.

So, expect Republicans to ratchet up the violent rhetoric.  Republicans have been yearning to become fully fascist and this shooting has all the possibility of being the Cases Belli, Republicans have sought.  

Be prepared because Republicans are going to want revenge and will not discriminate in their targets.

ETA:  All those people who vehemently declared you can't blame Sarah Palin for putting rifle scopes on Gabby Giffords, who openly mocked Paul Pelosi after he was bludgeoned, who wax poetically about the need to shed the blood of Tyrants and Patriots, who lionized Cliven Bundy or Kyle Rittenhouse, who dismiss school shootings and demand they not be "politicized" all seem to be angry and want blood and violence.

Will they get it?  I think win or lose Trump will incite them to take Revenge.  Project 2025 is both a roadmap and an aspiration.  Large scale rightwing Domestic Terrorism is coming...

Shall Not be Infringed 13: There are Two Things America Loves - Football and Mass Shootings

And I'm not so sure about Football...

There was a mass shooting as the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl victory parade ended.  The result 2 killed, 20 confirmed injured (half of the children), perhaps two or three suspects have been detained.  I guess with thousands present it could have been far worse.

Now we begin the kabuki dance, which accompanies these events,  conservatives will slag Liberal Democrat Kansas City and point out it's full of BLACKS (Kansas City has a rich history and connection to African Americans in sports),  Republicans will offer up their hollow thoughts and prayers, Gun Nuts will blame gun free zones, and despite the American people overwhelmingly wanting gun control and restrictions on firearms the Government will be unable to act.

Now, this is not a BothSides issue, I'm not blaming those Clowns in Congress.  The Republicans party is owned by the Firearms Manufacturing Industry and the Supreme Court is run by 6 unjust mullahs who put their warped minds above the health and welfare of the American people and believe their divinely inspired wisdom is above any human made laws.

Of course, this will not move Republicans towards any type of gun control or any efforts to limit gun violence in America.  Jello-Brained Trump, still upset over Tayler Swift and Travis Kelce spurning his advances, proudly proclaimed, 

"Nobody took care of our Second Amendment [more than me], during that four-year period, nothing happened with our Second Amendment," Treasonous Trump who fundamentally broke The Law and violated his oath to office as President declared he'll fully "uphold our great Second Amendment". 

Even well before Trump decided to destroy the United States of America, because President Obama made fun of him, Gun Violence has served Republican interests as a source of political power and money for Republican officials.

And MAGA culture (such as it is) cares nothing about the deaths from gun violence, because rightwingers don't care about society or anyone other than themselves.  All conservative caterwauling about protecting the children is utter tripe and pure performative bullshit.

Conservatives know they won't be victims to gun violence because; they have their guns with them at all times and they don't go into libtard-controlled, ANTIFA/BLM destroyed, smoking hellhole cities.  Conservatives live the pure fantasy life of a gun wielding movie character, the actual reality and actuarial statistics about gun deaths and violence are no more real to them than President Biden and VP K. Harris election victory in 2020.

Rightwingers are the Righteous and the Chosen ones; the Real Americans.  And why shouldn't they believe it?  The Corporate Media does everything it can to seek them out and elevate their false beliefs, Politicians (especially Republicans but, many Clinton Era Democratic ones) cater to their whims and delusions, and mainstream culture has always made a concerted effort to glorify their ideology (hence the rightwing outrage when Hollyweird is ramming that gay agenda down their throats).

Shall not be Infringed 10 Part 2: Murderous conservatives gunning for Democratic Governors

"When do we get to use the guns?"   

As a follow-up to my earlier post about the on-going and increasing Political Violence from Republicans and their rightwing domestic terrorists, New Mexico Governor Lujan Grisham and her family have faced thousands of direct threats of violence and murder.

A Source New Mexico review of posts on social media by elected officials and other users following the public health order issued in New Mexico on Sept. 8 shows numerous calls for Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham to be hanged or killed by other means, and for the publication of private information about Lujan Grisham, her family and staff.

Threats were made in various forums, including the comments section of a website owned by a state representative, and during a rally attended by several state Republican party officials. 

Conservatives yearn to murder Democratic officials because conservatives are terrorists.  Elon Musk demanded the Governor be removed from office.  Baldly blatant Nazi Tim Pool who already has two mass shooters to his credit is now he's gunning for a 3rd to get Governor Grisham but, perhaps even worse elected Republicans in New Mexico are actively engaged and full participants.

At a rally in Albuquerque, gun nuts declared the shooting which spurred Governor Grisham's executive order a "false flag",

Among the rally’s attendees were Republicans Stefani Lord, Sandoval County Commissioner Jay Block, state Senate candidate Nicole Tobiassen, and U.S. Senate candidates Eric Knight and Ben Luna.

In a social media post on Sept. 11, Block a January 6th insurrectionist compared Lujan Grisham’s gun order to the al Qaeda terrorists who attacked the World Trade Center.

“Never forget the Islamic extremists who attacked and killed thousands of innocents... One extremist a few days ago attacked our constitutional rights. Always stand guard, never forget, and always fight for your God-given rights and your beautiful country.”

The post included pictures of the World Trade Center towers exploding in the terrorist attack next to a picture of Lujan Grisham’s face.

Thanks to the combination of rightwing media and online encouragement, Republicans have almost perfected their stochastic terrorism.

Republicans & Conservatives instantly flood news stories with threats of violence and encouragement at each other to do something.  Then take to their toxic social media accounts to regurgitate their noxious nonsense at each other until the concentration of rightwing propaganda hits a critical mass then a terminally online "lone wolf" conservative executes a rightwing domestic terrorist attack.

Meanwhile, media, State Legislatures, and law enforcement is uwholly unequipped, unable, and/or unwilling to deal with online threats ( except for abortion where Cops are licking their chops at the thought of scrolling through your feed to catch some sluts).

We should treat this for what it is; an on-going campaign of domestic terrorism from Republicans upon the American people.  I laid out the sequence in my last post.  

As I said Political Violence is here and Republicans are doing it but, it's rapidly accelerating and heading to an obvious Inflection point in 2024.

If you live in a Republican controlled state or an Unconstitutional Sheriff's County start getting ready now because conservatives absolutely believe they will be able to "use the guns" very soon with the explicit backing and support of elected Republicans.

America's ridiculous infatuation with guns continues to claim lives and in reality, the one in which 50,000+ are year die from Gun Violence and another untold quarter million or more are wounded each and every year, Jon Stewart, inadvertently hit upon the crux of the Gun Control Argument.  Us Gun Grabbers always FORGET the MAGIC WORDS;

Simply, observe how Oklahoma State Senator Nathan Dahm responded to being made to a laughing stock by Jon Stewart on guns and the death toll it extracts amongst Americans and especially children.  His responses afterward show he doesn't give a fuck about the law and believes the Constitution is a static document that contains magic immutable spells and he as A True Believer in the Constitution interprets those spells correctly.

Look at the concerted and immediate pushback to New Mexico Governor Michelle L. Grisham's emergency ban on open and concealed carry in Albuquerque.  Republicans want their psychotic followers armed at all times and gun nuts want guns at all times because they want to murder people.  That is the whole of the Law, everything else, as they say, is commentary.

Therefore, Americans just have to live with the constant threat of dying from gun violence anywhere, anytime, anyway.  So, here's two quintessentially American recent deaths by gun;

In western Washington State,

Dan Spaeth of Snohomish, Wash., was outside his home with his wife on the evening of Sept. 7, trying to alert passing cars to deer that were crossing the road, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office Det. Kendra Conley wrote in an affidavit of probable cause filed in court.

He was shot once by a man driving by, who later told authorities that seeing Spaeth and his wife in the street made him afraid and said he didn’t know whether he had hit someone. He drove away.

Because of Stand Your Ground Laws in Washington and the doctrine of No Duty to Retreat, the 22 year old shooter Dylan Picard probably stands a great chance of getting off on Second Degree Murder charges because of his "Subjective Fear".  Maybe not, because Spaeth is a "good guy". i.e. white male who worked as a corrections officer.

In DeLeon Springs, Florida just North of Orlando, 

The victim, 42-year-old Brian J. Ford, was trimming tree limbs along the fence line between 1880 and 1890 Alameda Drive when 78-year-old Edward S. Druzolowski confronted him about being on his property. Druzolowski told detectives he threatened to shoot Ford, and when Ford didn’t leave, he shot him.  The Sheriff’s Office received 2 911 calls reporting the incident around 7:13 p.m. The first two deputies on scene attempted life-saving measures until EMS arrived, but Ford was pronounced deceased on scene.

This case is laughably simple.  Libertaryans argue that someone trespassing by touching a single blade of grass on your lawn has abrogated their rights and can be thus be safely killed.  Therefore, by demanding Get off my Lawn in his best Clint Eastwood impression Druzolowski has satisfied the conditions of a warnin' and then a shootin'.  Case Closed.

Just like with healthcare coverage, wherein Republicans simply believe if you're born with a genetic condition, develop an illness or become injured too bad, tough shit... Die.

Or with the non-stop Republican efforts to steal Social Security if you're life savings are swindled by the Republican financial sector or Crypto Bros well too bad, tough shit guess you'll become homeless or Die.

And if you should become homeless?  Well then Republicans get to treat you as less-than-human garbage and just be grateful Republicans don't light you and your tent on fire.

Republican media: Liberals are traitors and deserve to die.

Conservatives on social media. Liberals are traitors and we should kill them.

Firearms Manufacturing Industry: Liberals want to take your guns, you should buy some more now.

It is incorrect to say that political violence is coming.  As with the crazed rightwinger who absorbed Faux News talking points about Nancy Pelosi, then descended upon her home to duct tape her and beat her to death with a hammer but, instead merely cracked Pelosi's husbands skull open Political Violence is here and Republicans are doing it.  

But, even saying that makes you a target for more political violence from the Right.  As Mitt Romney mentioned on his way out of the Senate, 

“There are deranged people among us,” he told McKay Coppins for a forthcoming biography, an excerpt of which was published in The Atlantic on Wednesday, shortly after Romney announced that he would not seek reelection. “It only takes one really disturbed person.”

Absolute Truth is not a defense against rightwing domestic terrorism.  But, what's coming isn't a repeat of the Civil War of the 1860's, we're too integrated for that, but regions of the country are simply going to declare themselves free of control of Washington DC (when Democrats are in control of the White House or halls of Congress) and so-called purple states will experience the equivalent of the Irish Troubles.

So, make some preparations.  Voting is Necessary but not Sufficient with what's coming.  But, increase your situational awareness now.  Be brave if you can, but be ready.  Because Republican Domestic Terrorism is already here.

Republican RFK Jr Candidate Fact Sheet - Loves: Lies, 2A & 1488. Hates: Gun Control, Vaccines & Democrats

Police arrested a man who was allegedly posing as a United States Marshal during a Hispanic Heritage Month event attended by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Friday in the Wilshire Park area.

Adrian Paul Aispuro, 44, was booked on a felony gun charge and was being held on $35,000 bail, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Inmate Information Center. 

LAPD says that they took the man into custody at the event as he was trying to pass himself off as a federal official.

They also say that the man wasn't believed to be threatening RFK Jr. or anyone else, but that he was armed. They did not provide further information on the type of firearm he was carrying. 

It's frightening to imagine what could have happened!  Why, the man, had a gun(s)!  And I'm sure we're all aware of the assassinations of RFK's father and uncle.  Let's see what candidate RFK Jr said about Guns this July,

“I do not believe that there is, within that second amendment, that there’s anything we can meaningfully do to reduce the trade in the ownership of guns, and I’m not going to take people’s guns away. Anybody who tells you that they’re going to be able to reduce gun violence through gun control at this point I don’t think is being realistic,” Robert F Kennedy Jr.

Huh... well... that's interesting...  So since RFK Jr doesn't believe in gun control, declared he won't take guns away from people, and the Police declared Aispuro wasn't "believed to be threatening RFK Jr." why is Kennedy afraid?  Guns Save Lives. 

Even more interesting in this context is RFK Jr. constantly harping on his need to have Secret Service protection.  Why?  Well it's to signal to White Supremacists he's one of them. The usage of 1488, if you are unaware, is not an accidental number sequence for the Kennedy campaign to put out.

Kennedy Jr. has been claiming he is the first Presidential Candidate in History to be denied Secret Service Protection at this stage in his campaign. Besides being an outright lie, it's a slander RFK Jr. is using to denigrate President Biden and to boost his chances of being Traitor Trump's running mate.

Perhaps the HGH and steroids RFK Jr. has been abusing are taking a toll on his body but, something has broken in his brain and he's just going full in on Anti-Vaxx nonsense and lies.  The Republicans are funding his campaign, he's a Faux News darling, Joe Rogan loves him, his every position is at best rightwing and more accurately described as Quasi-Fascist.   So... why is he a Democratic candidate for the 2024 election?

Anna P. Luna is a psychotic liar whose only redeeming feature is there happen to be even more psychotic Republican Liars such as Major Traitor Greene, "George Santos" and Dick Exposer L. Boebert in Congress.

The nice reporters at NPR had a story about Stand Your Ground Laws.  They interviewed researchers.  Presented facts.  Complied data.  And presented it in that low gentle soft voice NPR is known for.

They still don't understand.  No reasoned argument will ever convince the Republican Gun Nuts to pull back.  NPR and so many others still want to believe the proper mix of facts and speech is the magic this one-weird trick which will reveal the truth to Republicans but, they don't realize that Republicans no longer cynically endorse guns and the Firearms Industry to get votes.  Republicans have been stewing in rightwing Moron Labe Tyranny for so long this is who they are now;  Fascists.

Guns are Power.  Gun Fetishization is Power.  Gun usage is Power.  Republicans love Guns.

Not, to put a bummer on this gorgeous Spring Day but, Republicans are already engaged in a low-level Civil War against Us.

By flooding the Nation with 400,000,000 firearms and undercutting local, State, and Federal Gun laws and restrictions the Gun Humping Maniacs, Republicans, the NRA, and firearms manufacturing industry have turned the Nation and 2nd Amendment into a Murder-Suicide Pact.  But, that's not the end goal.  

The end goal is an armed Coup begun by tip of the spear Rightwing Paramilitary domestic terrorists and then 

slowly but inexorably pulling in sympathetic Law Enforcement and Military to enforcing their Putsch.  Always remember rightwingers don't expect to defeat the military or National Guard in open conflict, they expect them to coalesce around them and help them neutralize or eliminate those military members of law enforcement personnel who don't.

Republicans have normalized the talk of overthrowing the government and unfitted access to all manner of weaponry to make Americans comfortable with it because on their next Jan6th (which Just to be Clear the Republican Party has come to defend and endorse) they plan to use guns early and often. 

This was always the point of the so-called "Stand Your Ground" Laws.  Coupled with this has been to enshrine subjective fear for my life court rulings.  Thus, everyone can claim to be "afraid for their lives" and ipso facto claim self-defense.  Obviously, this doesn't always work in every court case but, it's a starting point and make prosecution of these murders difficult.  As we saw Kenosha Killer Kyle Rittenhouse specifically went to Wisconsin to carry a gun and shoot people and then he did just that.  But, during his ridiculous hearing he was allowed to blubber on stand about his fears despite inserting himself into the situation with an AR-15.

Anxious to emulate, Kenosha Killer Kyle, in Texas Daniel Kelly posted multiple times on multiple social media platforms his desire to shoot and murder protesters.  After his trial and guilty conviction based on overwhelming evidence, rightwing propagandists revved up their Wurlitzers of lies to claim Perry's murder of Garrett Foster was "justified self-defense".  Fvcker Carlson did multiple segments on it and Texas Governor Greg Abbott swiftly declared his plan to get a pardon for convicted killer Perry.

“Texas has one of the strongest ‘Stand Your Ground’ laws of self-defense that cannot be nullified by a jury or a progressive District Attorney.  I look forward to approving the Board’s pardon recommendation as soon as it hits my desk.” 

Always remember the unequal application of laws is a key component of Fascism.  Fortunately, Texas constrains its' governors so Abbott can not unilaterally override the murder conviction.

Meanwhile, rightwing terrorists in Texas continue to exact a toll on the populace.  Mauricio Garcia, the "RWDS" Killer in Allen, Texas was regular on message boards posting the Republican message of Stochastic Terrorism, i.e. low level violence and "random" massacre which are nearly impossible to specifically predict but, an absolute certainty to happen somewhere in the United States.

But, a key component is to make all the white people deathly afraid of the blacks, this is why Faux News and Rightwing media are constantly harping on "Knock-Out Games" or "Black-on-Black" crime and spreading videos of young blacks "wilding".

David Doyle, heard a noise and saw shadows outside his home so...blam blam blam, he started blasting hitting her in the head, though she apparently survived.

The Subway Strangler Daniel Penny who executed a homeless black man is a Hero and being lauded on-line and on regular Fox News programs.

The more Republicans hear about the Discord leaker Jack Teixeira the more they love him, as it turns out Teixeira fantasized about a mass shooting at his school, was overheard by multiple classmates speaking about Molotov cocktails and which rifle was best to use from the back of a pickup.  Teixeira's background was so egregious, the local PD requested the State deny him a firearms owners card.  Major Traitor Greene's darling Teixeira had an arsenal at his home as well.

I think besides NPR, many people in this country don't want to acknowledge what's happening.  I don't blame them.  It's hard to reconcile what we want to believe to what is actually happening.  The Republican Party is a fully fascist organization which does not believe any elected Democrat is legitimate, that the media, education, woke corporations and others are unlawfully restricting their "Natural Rights", stealing elections, stabbing them in the back, and ramming Tyranny down their throats.

All this adds up to the questions more and more conservatives are asking openly, "When do we get to use the guns?"  And as we are seeing more and more conservatives are answering that question with "Right Now."

America is so broken that mass shootings need to have a dramatic twist or turn in order to receive any kind of extended coverage.  In this latest mass shooting, three 9 year olds, as well a substitute teacher, a long term custodian, and the head of the school were shot to pieces at The Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee.

But, in the shocking twist the shooter is Transgender! Dun-dun-duuuuuun! So this will be an easy dismissal by the rightwing gun pyschos who continue to hold America hostage to an idea that More Guns is the Answer.  It isn't.  More Guns leads to More Gun Violence.  Period.  It's the Guns.

But, in a darkly humorous turn on the Transgender issue. Audrey Hale was born female and was transitioning to male before deciding to become a murderer.  Rightwingers anti-Trans effort doesn't focus on female-to-male transition but, the more frightening man pretending to be a women to sneak into girls bathrooms lie.  Hale apparently left a manifesto.  And Hale called a friend right before their damage.  Audrey Hale went to that School.  Were they molested?  Were they subjected to gay conversion therapy?  Was this their revenge?  

Oh no it's not guns!  It's mental health!  Oh and anyway Gun Control doesn't work!  We need armed Veterans roaming the halls!  Children need bulletproof backpacks.  We need a single entry/exit point to keep gunmen gunpersons out of the school.

But, so many others have pointed out the absolute absurdity of the American Gun Epidemic.  This isn't freedom, the idea that in order to be free, schools need to have one hardened entry point, have roaming guards armed with rifles wandering the halls, that every parent needs a sidearm in their Moron Labe gigantic SUVs to pick up little Connor or Madison.

In an absolute despicable turn I could see Rightwingers and Republicans passing legislation to make it illegal for the LGBTQ community to own firearms under the auspices of declaring Trans a mental health condition.  Remember that just 3 weeks ago, Tennessee moved at Warp Speed to ban Drag to save and protect the Children!  There is no situation in America which Republicans can not use to make the material lives of Americans worse.  And that is the goal of the Republican Party; to destroy and impoverish the American people.

The 5th US Circuit Court of Appeals citing the SCOTUS Bruen Ruling declared Domestic Abusers can not have their guns taken from them via court order.  Because as the Supremacist Court ruled only Gun Laws in effect at the ratification of the 2nd Amendment pass Constitutional Muster.

In 1996 the Lautenberg Amendment to the 1968 Gun Control Act denied abusive violent husbands from keeping or buying firearms after domestic violence convictions.  So, this would seem to be one of the areas of Gun Regulation which seemed to be uncontroversial.  And while this may seem uncontroversial to you, to the Firearms Industrial Complex and their co-dependent co-conspirators Republicans this is a problem.  Because a large component of firearms purchases are made by abusive men to kill their so-called loved ones.  Abusive Men are the backbone of the Republican Party.

The Copaganda Narrative of Uvalde has fallen apart.  The timeline of events does not correspond at all with the bullshit narrative Police, Authorities, and Texas Republicans first presented.  This whole thing is fucking unbelievable.  The shooter was outside firing rounds for 12 minutes prior to entering the school.  The Officers saw him enter and followed but were repulsed by superior firepower.  At this point once you have eyes in the shooter or once you know his location from the gunfire you are receiving you must maintain contact to keep his location fixed.  Yes, I'm sorry Boys you're going to get shot at with rifle rounds.  But!  Don't fret!  I hear from gun nuts on-line all the time that an AR-15 is just a 22!  A pea-shooter!  

Instead the Officers retreated, lost containment and waited an hour for the more heavily armed QRF to respond.  A fucking hour! 

The entire incident appears to be a mixture of sheer incompetence and pure cowardice.  The stories coming out of dithering, of handcuffing parents, of other Texas Deputies going into the school and retrieving their children, of incompetent attempts to reach students hiding and exposing them to the school shooter.

David Simon said in the film The House I Live In, that the War on Drugs and the Police State associated with it, could claim to be worth it if, we also had safety and security but, we don't.  So, instead we get the dehumanization of America from the War on Drugs in addition to the tyrannical authoritarianism of a fascist internal police.

The same is true with the bloated Police budgets and obsequious fealty Police Departments demand.  It might be worth it, to bow and scrape, and pay police exorbitant overtime pay for safety and security but, instead Police Budgets take away from other more vital services which can better address the issues facing society and because of the Republican policy of flooding the Nation with 400,000,000 easily obtainable firearms we have no safety and no security.

And I'm not even talking about the payouts for egregious violations of law and misconduct just the amount of money dedicated to keep the precious feeling of The Cowardly Thin Blue Line from being hurt when Police are criticized for gross misconnection, law breaking, and violations of rights.

40% of Uvalde's city budget goes to the Police Department.  They have a SWAT equivalent team.  This would be a great time to talk about Defunding the Police, but right now rightwing media would love nothing more than to change the subject to violence in Democrat Run cities and disgusting Republican slobs like Sarah Suckabee Sanders could get on Faux News and say Chicago Chicago Chicago!!!

I know Greg Abbott, Dan Patrick, Ken Paxton, Ted Cruz, John Cornyn are shameless and have no compunction about giving these petulant interviews oozing bad faith and uncaring sarcasm but how can Texans, tough talking, god-fearing, giant belt buckle wearing, self-reliant frontier folk vote for these slimy fucks?  Has the non-stop GOP rhetoric and propaganda worked that fucking well?  That these doughy, wide-waisted, flabby-assed, cowards are the epitome of Texas?  How can you look at Ted Cruz and go Yep! that's who I want as a Senator!

The sad truth is I expect the Faux News spun propaganda and righting on-line discourse to turn to those cowardly Cops failed to do their job!  If those Cops had done the easy brave thing, this never would have happened, and our theory of Guns making people safer would still be 100% correct.  Also anyway the Democrats are to blame!

I'm not even going to get into the SRO program and how states like Texas have used Police Officers in schools as a way to extract money from children and to bully and harass minorities.  (That's another post entirely)  But, of course, OF FUCKING COURSE, a Cop in every school is one of the Republicans ridiculous non-solutions to this.  Even though, there were 3 Officers on scene who exchanged gunfire with the murderer.  

Look, I'm not going to denigrate the Deputies or Officers who shot at him.  But, you have to stop him.  You just have too.  You can not let him get inside.  Because this level of slaughter is what happens if you let him get away/inside.  Now, this is a huge ask, in fact it's asking the Officers to lay down their lives because one or more would most certainly have been fatally wounded.

Republican Gun Policies ensures that Officers are going to get shot by these gunmen and Cops are not ready to handle that truth because they've been trained to view non-black people with guns as allies.  But, Republican Gun Legislation is a Fucking Death Sentence for Officers, I wish they'd realize this.

Besides signing an Anti-CRT Law last year, Greg Abbott signed legislation to do away with Texas gun restrictions and to ensure no Federal Gun Laws will be enforced.

And look Conservatives are always cavalier with other peoples' lives.  We witnessed this after Parkland when it was revealed the SRO failed to go in while NRA trained and MAGA Lover Nikolas Cruz shot 34 people, killing 17, and Faux News ran hundreds of hours of programming blaming the Officer and the FBI for the shooting while disgusting fat slob Traitor Trump claimed if only he was there he would have stopped the shooter! If only!!

And in a shameless bit of hypocrisy, Republicans Tailgunner Ted Cruz and Criminal General Ken Paxton also call for arming Teachers.  Mind you Republicans just last week, were claiming Teachers are Groomers and indoctrinating children with CRT and Cultural Marxism.

The brutal truth is Republicans don't care and enjoy when Liberals are upset by these school shootings. Republicans simply don't care except to get mad when their faults are pointed out.  Listen to Republicans screech and holler at Beto O'Rourke.  They are more angry at being "disrespected" and correctly blamed for their failures, than the dead children happening because of their policies.  THEY DON'T CARE.

Anyway I await my village's time in the gun barrel.  I simply hope I have enough presence of mind and fortitude in the moment to face down the shooter.

One of the greatest tricks the GQP pulled was to get the Corporate Media to accept their framing of issues.  Now, this is a little cooked because the current Media is set up to push the agenda of Billionaires and the Rich, just like the Republican Party but, it's also been a great method of letting Republicans claim that their words are the equivalent of actions.  Republicans claim to be pro-life, heavily invested in patriotism, and with an eye towards liberty.  They say these things but, they don't follow through with actions because they don't have to, the words like prayers are enough to satisfy their followers.

Those Empty Thoughts & Worthless Prayers are also the only thing Republicans have to offer to the families of victims of the latest school shootings.  Republicans offer these things up because it is literally the least they can do but, Republicans know the Corporate Media will treat Thoughts & Prayers as equivalent of action.

Meanwhile, the Republicans are simply running out the clock on the latest mass shooting, knowing their bigoted hardcore followers don't care and the rest of the American people are too distracted in dealing with all the problems Republicans created to address gun violence that hasn't yet affected them.

And the Republicans can count on-line vile lying Rightwingers to spread all sorts of lies and misinformation as Alex Jones and others did with We Have to Talk About Sandy Hook, the way Major Traitor Greene stalked Parkland survivor David Hogg in DC and others claimed he wasn't present.  Already Republicans and conservatives are flooding social media with claims the murderer was Transgender (the latest boogeyman the right is using to undermine and destroy the United States).

The Left (in general) failed to respond because since the 1960s the Left saw conservatives cloak themselves in Flag and God so they ceded these things to the Right because of how repugnant conservatives made the concepts of patriotism and religion.  What the Left did not Not understand, unlike the Unionists in the 1860s did, is the American Flag, patriotism, and religion are things you take back from the Fascists.

And make no mistake that's what the Modern Republican Party is; Fascist.  Deeply.  Thoroughly.  And with a keen eye towards inflicting pain and violence on their True Enemies, Democrats, Liberals, and Progressives.

Elected Republicans wake up in the mid-morning after their coke-fueled deviant orgies and contemplate how they can harm Americans and the Nation.  From the most Hate Filled Republican Senator to the most vile TV newsman, Republicans spend every second of every day making things materially and morally worse for Americans because the Conservative Agenda is to Destroy the United States and replace it with their Neo-Confederate Fundamentalist State.

I could fill this entire post with bizarre, violent, hateful, vile, disingenuous, frightening, menacing social media posts, statements, State Laws, radio broadcasts, and Supreme Court ruling which demonstrate how far Fascist the GOP has descended but, to what point?  The Corporate Media is tasked by their owners and operators with helping to advance the Rightwing Agenda and with making it palatable to the large swath of Americans who can't be bothered or are too frazzled and barely hanging on to vote and organize against the Republican Fascist Death Cult.

And that is what Republicans count on.  By consistently making things materially worse for Americans Republicans know they can then blame their recalcitrant undermining of the Nation on the Democratic Party and be assured the Corporate Media will gleefully adopt rightwing taking points.

Note, the Media freakout over the withdrawal from Afghanistan and the ease which Republicans are all allowed to vote against any Governmental effort to address the baby formula shortage while Republicans still get to claim the mantle of Pro-Life.

It's the same way Republicans get to aid the NRA in flooding the Nation with easily obtainable firearms, while undermining Law&Order but, get to be labeled the Pro-Police Party and defenders of children; the very same children Republicans helped murder in the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.  All while blaming the Democratic Party for the damage the Republicans have wrought, as Baby Killer Ted Cruz did in the immediate aftermath.

After the GOP takes control of the House and Senate and enough Governorships through their decades long and time-worn methods of voter discouragement and disenfranchisement; they will have the Governmental edge to outright steal the 2024 Presidential Election and then like all good Fascist Disctatorships will allow the Form to continue even though all elections will be no different than the Saddam Hussein lead Ba'ath Party "democratic" elections.

After the GOP Fascist takeover, the Corporate Media will dutifully carry out their role of hyping the latest Rightwing propaganda and pretending the State of the Nation is the same as it ever was...
