I got this stool at a barn “garage” sale a month or so ago. It’s mostly for taking photos for my biz but it sits in our kitchen looking cute. I thought Hazel would fall out of it but she will sit in there for hours watching what’s going on in the kitchen. She won’t even try to get out and often asks to get in. I did an impromptu shoot with her because I wanted to try a couple things. The pics turned out more then sufficiently hazelesk!

I just can’t get enough. I was testing to see if I could plop her in front of any background and get some good pics. There are a couple distracting things on the fridge but other then that I think the focus is on Miss H.

I was showing my brother Windows Live Writer (which I LOVE for blogging) and this is the picture I inserted randomly. I don’t remember ever blogging this one but it’s one of my favorites from the summer. Happy sunny days!

Grandma at the pool who doesn’t have a pool anymore.

Scotty actually says that whole name when he talks to or about Grandma. We got to visit her on Halloween. She looks pretty amazing don’t you think!?

The kids fun runs around her are a full mile. I think they should do a shorter one for the younger buys but oh well. You can tell how exhausted Scotty was. Aunt Pam was a trooper and ran the whole way with him. You can tell from the last pictures what his motivation was…CANDY!

I love the picture of him coming off the starting line. He was in heaven with all the other super hero's around. He wanted to run with Batman but was faster then him…until he stopped for water (the third pic) and then Batman ended up beating him. Oh well. Next year. 

We love you Mimi

I’m not feeling very clever today. It could be that I just got hit in the head with the corner of a metal Jack-in-the-box toy. Or maybe it’s the cold, or maybe it’s the lazy Thanksgiving day but anyways, it’s Mimi’s birthday and she deserves lots of pictures on her day! We love you!

I told Scotty when he woke up that it was Mimi’s birthday. This is what I got…

“I just had a thinking! We could go visit your Mommy, who is Mimi, and we could visit your Daddy, who is Ricky (he always jokes with me) and then tell her Happy Birthday!”

All in one sentence and one breath really.

Ok, so I’m playing catch-up! I just loved these photos and the best part was the when we asked Scotty what was on Daddy’s pumpkin he said, “Why is it a BYU Cougar pumpkin?” He totally new the Y!

Crawling

She's crawling. Weird. If you've been following Baby H's life up until this point you'll know that she doesn't crawl. She scooches on her bum. It turned out to be very beneficial while her leg was in a splint. Recently she's been flopping on her belly and playing, kicking her feet, looking at books. Yesterday she got on her hands and knees and took a couple 'steps' to reach for something. She's looks around to see if anyone is watching and then giggles. I believe she thinks it's a joke!
