Esoteric ritual evokation to the darkness! Masterpiece from 1990! - fresh to this times music and gloomy magical athmosphere, like a funeral rite for the ancient past..

"Odes" was recorded in very special conditions at L'Antre, in November 1990. Despite the not excellent sound quality, it proposes an incredible atmosphere for somebody able to come in it. Remixed at Dark Sound Studio in 1994.
"Black Roses from the Dawn of the Chaos" was also recorded at L'Antre, for a very important aim. It was used for the limited edition of the compilation ARÖG / MORDOR / GORA in 1991. Remixed at Dark Sound Studio in 1994.

"Dark Throne of Blasphemous Evil" is dedicated to Howard P. Lovecraft.
"The Great Kat is God" is dedicated to Katherine Thomas.
"Lamentations for Corinne" is dedicated to Corinne D.
"Black Roses from the Dawn of Chaos" is dedicated to Tënëbrâhl.

"Agony: The Ascent of the Mountain" was recorded between march/april 1995.

All songs remixed at Dark Sound Studio in 1994/1995.

Mordor - 1994 Dark Is The Future picture 7''vinyl EP

From the darkest past.. I dont know definition of this music .. and this is right!! Eklectic mix of dark metal , black metal, black doom, black ambient and industrial and .. who cares? This is very dark and experimental release from 94, band plays this experimental mix 5 years earlier.. I know one - this is dark .. this is ritual .. this is black .. industrial .. metal .. ambient.. And show me one band todays who plays music like that ...

Strongly recomended!!!!
