The Greeks are here! At last I have made a start on the 6mm Greek Hoplite Army from Baccus. And it is only a start three bases complete so far with another half done just waiting to finish the remaining strips.
I originally had a mixture of shield designs throughout the bases but eventually decided on keeping a standard design throughout the units.
So far i have got two units of Hoplites and one unit containing the General. These figures will be used for the DBA rule system and i will be creating a Foot General and a mounted General to give some flexibility in army design.
I really enjoyed painting these figures as its been a while since i have painted figres from Baccus and after this weekend i think i might have to invest in some more possibly go bck to creating a Napolionic force, just got to decide on a rule set now!!!
The General 4 Sp, the next General base will be all mounted for 3 CV as per the DBA system army lists.
This is the half finished unit still awaiting the remaining strips and sporting a different shield design.
As well as these figures i have been finishing off the 10mm buildings for BKC, these i will get some photos of and put up next, hopefully the BKC reinforcements from Pendraken will arrive this week so that will shift my concentration again!! along with some Late war British for FOW and Bitish colonial troops in red coats and pith helmets for Funny Little Wars!!!!
