Colour Inspiration - Orient

This weeks colour inspiration is all about the orient and in the mixed colour flower pack of the same name the colours are fire engine red, white, black and red.

We teamed the petals with our red mesh ribbon, white crinkle satin edge organza, black satin, red cobweb ribbon. Our petals corodinate well with our apple blossoms, cherry blossoms and small flowers.

Colour Inspiration - Vintage

These soft vintage tones are from one of our new mixed colour packs and coordinate beautifully with our lace and satin ribbons:

The colours in this pack are: Aubergine, Dusky Mauve, Ivory and Taupe. They are shown here with our ivory pearl flowers. The coordinating ribbons are aubergine, mauve and cream lace and baby pink satin.

Colour Inspiration - Green & Gold

In the lead up to Australia Day it is always hard to know whether to don the green & gold or go the blue, red & white of the flag. I think we will start with the sporting colours of green & gold this week and share the flag next Monday - Australia Day:

This weeks colour combo is soft and feminine with ivory, mauve, heritage pink, purple and cerise.

This weeks colour combo is totally inspired by Heidi Swapp with crisp tones of black, white, silver and sky blue.

Colouring In

The acrylic embellishments have been flying off the shelf and while white and ivory are classy, we have been playing around with them to see what we could create:

White pearl cluster coloured with black alcohol ink (Copic, Sharpie etc) and combined with black pearl stamens, 6cm white petals and 15cm black satin ribbon.
