Had some fun with this guy Tues night.

Talked with Tallarn about cleaning up the Xs so the edges are more crisp.  He gave me the OK and mentioned a couple of other ideas about the red X on the wings.

Look Who Brought Some Friends a.k.a. Death Company part 1

Have to say my January promotion has been quite successful.  That coupled with a fellow blogger whom I deeply respect, it is simply great and an honour that he trusted me to paint some of his models.

Dante Blood Angels Completed (5hr challenge)

Was given this bad boy to paint for someone special.  Decided to challenge myself.  Wanted to complete it in 5 hours.  I failed.  Completed it in 5h49m.  My armour.  I'm carrying too much weight.  I need to be-- I need to be faster.

Bit was missing.  First thing to do was procure another Infernus Pistol.  Thanks to LT for finding one.

Finally able to put solid time at the table.  Only had a little bit of time Mon night.  It was enough.

All the little gems on the Chaplain are based Scab Red.  Golden Yellow high, Evil Sunz Scarlet middle and Blazing Orange for bottom highlight.

Damn, last weekend was quite the struggle to get to the murder table.  Hopefully this isn't an indication of what will happen this, Eldar release, weekend and next week.  Need to seriously kick this in the ass.

Taking a cue from Ron.  Army Painter Mat Black on armour so cleaning up line-highlighting black will be easier.

12.5.16 2500 Dark Eldar vs Blood Angels

Had the pleasure of using my completely painted Dark Eldar with my second favourite opponent tonight, Connor.  Reason why he is my second favourite is because unlike Shawn, we are all game.  Rarely do we BS.  It's down to business with us.  An added perk is whenever I game with him I always learn something new.  He's a great teacher with plenty of patience and generally an all around great guy.
