November is almost over so I thought I'd touch on October before it's long forgotten.
Here is a look of some of the things we did;
I canned peaches and salsa.
We had our first snow of the season, the kids woke up and the first thing they wanted to do was go outside and play. So cute. It's so great having our own yard.
Halloween;
The kids went to a friends Halloween party. Kambree was a kitty and Konnor spiderman.
Story time at the library. (Kambree invited her friend Molly to come with us)
Carving pumpkins. Trunk or Treat (this was a first for us but we wanted to socialize some with our new ward) Trick or Treating.
Meet Jack! Yep that's right we got a puppy. I still can't believe it sometimes, it's a lot of work but he's a good dog so far.

September- Picture Overload
Here's a peek into our lives this September:
We went swimming with cousins one last time before the pool closed; the kids had a blast!
I made lots of yummy raspberry jam! I was lucky to be able to get tons of raspberries from my mother in law. And I was very happy to be able to send some raspberry freezer jam home with my mom who loves it!
We did some house projects with the help of my wonderful parents :)
Kambree's room:
A couple "before" pictures Does it get worse than this?
This wall was no fun at at all! It had these adhesive spots everywhere that we had to get off before we could do anything!
"after"
This is more of a during.... the nightstand I picked up at the DI for $5 and painted white and put a new knob on.
I found cute curtains and turned them into a valance instead. (The way the ceiling comes down on both sides of the window I can't hang an actual curtain rod and thought this would work better.) I also covered some pillows with some of the extra material. I found fun butterfly ornaments at a yard sale Saturday that I've stuck a couple in the valances and I have one hanging form the nightstand knob.
This room has come a long way and I love it!! I'm no finished yet but the rest will happen gradually. It's time to move on to Konnor's room that also desperately needs a makeover.
The guys project was to put anchors on the deck to make it more secure. However, right away they found that the stairs were completely rotted. So it turned into replacing all of that so that no one got hurt one day... It was a big project and a lot of work and we appreciate it so much!
This was the kids all lined up for a movie during our projects.
We enjoyed our visit from my parents and wished they'd stayed longer.
Next we headed to Idaho for 5 days. Where the kids have so much fun with the animals, Grandma, Grandpa, and Riley.
Their new puppy! She is so cute.
We went the to fair! And got cotton candy!
yikes...
We came home from Idaho just in time for Simon's 2nd birthday party (And the last Leikis get together before Amber's family and Beckie moved to Virginia) I didn't get pictures really- I'll have to get some from others.
This last week was Sera's birthday and Kambree got to go to her friend party. Sera and Kambree have been spending more time together lately and it's been so fun to see them become closer.
Konnor excused himself right away to go play with Nolan's toys. We didn't see him for awhile.
After the party Britt and I made grape juice from the grapes I have in my backyard...
Awesome. Salsa and canned peaches to come. Also something with apples once they sweeten up!
