Wonderful

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

I started by popping some Scarlet Mist and Plum Twist Pixie Powder onto a piece of copy paper. I rubbed the Woodware Paris Collage into the powder. I misted the stamp with water and stamped onto a piece of Coconut White Card. Once the image was dry, I inked around the edges with Soft Cerise CS Colour Cloud using a Smoothie. I cut out using Sue Wilson's Pierced Essential Rectangles and poppd onto a Black Card mat. I wrapped a piece of Grape Fuchsia Sheer Iridescent Ribbon around it, tied a bow and added a little Craft Consortium Key Charm

I misted a little water into 2 areas of my Craft Sheet. I added a little Scarlet Mist Pixie Powder to one area and Plum Twist Pixie Powder to the other. I picked the pixies up onto 2 separate pieces of Cut n Dry Foam. I used one to ink through areas of the Boomerang Mask onto Coconut White Card. I used the other to fill in the gaps. The mask is a repeating pattern and my card was larger than the mask so I moved it down and repeated the process to extend the design. Once dry, I inked around the edges with Soft Cerise Colour Cloud and matted onto Black Card. I popped onto a Coconut White Card blank.

I popped a little more of the Pixie Powders onto my copy paper and rubbed the sentiment stamp from the Woodware Celebrating You Stamp Set into it. I spritzed with wter and stamped onto Coconut White Card. I trimmed and matted onto Black Card.

I completed my card by adding a Small Black Circle Dazzler to each corner.

Dress Up Days

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

This card uses some leftover background from the piece I used on the waistcoat card in this post. To recap - I used a piece of Heat Emboss Acetate. I added CS Glue. I misted with water and used my finger to spread the glue around and then sprinkled CS Pixie Powders over - I used Rich Gold, Silver Dream, White Pearl and Midnight Sky. I scrunched up a piece of White Tissue Paper, opened it out and added it to my background. I tapped it down using a piece of Kitchen Roll. I put aside to dry - approx 4 - 5 hours.

I embossed a piece of Coconut White Card with the Creative Expressions Tulip Twist Embossing Folder. I rounded the corners using the Woodware Corner Rounder Punch. I matted onto a piece of Black Card and popped onto a Coconut White Card blank.

I stamped the slim fit dress from the Woodware Little Black Dress Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Versafine Ink. I coloured the mannequin using Antique Linen Distress Crayon from Set 3 using a Water Brush. I cut it out using scissors.

Once my PP Acetate Background was dry, I dusted with an Anti-Static Bag and stamped the dress using Clear Perfect Medium. I added CS Black Detail Embossing Powder and heat set using a Low Speed Heat Tool. I cut the dress out carefully - tip : if you snip into the embossing and it comes away from the acetate, use a Quickie Glue Pen to glue it back in place.

I used a Quickie Glue Pen on the belt and the top of the bodice. Once the glue was clear, I added CS Sparkle Star Polished Silk Glitter.

I added the dress to the mannequin and popped onto my card using CS Glue.

I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Black Detail Powder. I cut it out using Sue Wilson's Double Pierced Rectangles Set B and a mat out of Black Card using Sue's Double Pierced Rectangles.

I tied a bow using 3 lengths of Black American Seam Binding and added a Craft Consortium Rhinestone Square Charm.

I finished my card off by adding a 5mm Black Pearl to each corner.

Thanks for stopping by.

Chase Your Dreams

Hi Bloggers.

I have a card featuring some brand new products today - I've been using up some of my demo bits from the recent Trade Show.

For my background, I misted a piece of Coconut White Card with water and sprinkled a little CS Golden Mint Pixie Powder over. I added more water to diffuse the colour and put aside to dry. Once dry, I inked through the new Matrix Mask with Basil Leaf CS Colour Cloud using a Smoothie, moving the mask down to cover the whole area. I gave the ink a few minutes to settle and then inked around the edges. I gave this a couple of minutes to dry and then dusted with an Anti-Static Bag. I ran the edges through a Clear Perfect Medium Ink Pad, added new Everglades CS Brilliant Sparkle Embossing Powder and heat set.

I stamped the new Woodware Paris Collage onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with CS Everglades Brilliant Sparkle Embossing Powder. I cut it out using die #2 from Sue Wilson's Scalloped Lattice Frames Set B and inked around the edges with Basil Leaf Colour Cloud. I matted onto Black Card and added some 3mm Black Pearls.

For the long heart panel, I dusted a piece of Coconut White Card using an Anti-Static Bag. I inked up the new Lots of Love Mask with Clear Perfect Medium. I placed the mask, inked side up onto my Platinum platform, then my card (dusted side down), my tan mat then my embossing plate and ran through the machine. I added Everglades Brilliant Sparkle Embossing Powder and heat set. I cut it down into 2 hearts wide and trimmed a little off a row from the top and added to my background. I wrapped a piece of May Arts Sheer Iridescent Ribbon around to hide the join. I matted onto Black Card and added to a Coconut White Card blank.

I added my Paris Collage using 1mm Foam Tape. I tied a bow from more of the ribbon and added another bow of Black Twine with a Craft Consortoim Charm.

I stamped the sentiment from the new Woodware Warm Fuzzy Greetings Stamp Set onto Coconut White Card using Clear Perfect Medium and embossed with Everglades Brilliant Sparkle Embossing Powder. I trimmed it down, inked around the edges with Basil Leaf Colour Cloud and matted onto Black Card. The heart embellishment is left over from my UTEE shows on Hochanda in December. Basically, I lit the tea lights in the EFCO Enamel Pot. I added some CS Clear Ultra Thick Embossing Crystals to a pie dish and popped it on the hot plate. Once moulten, I added more Cosmic Shimmer Ultra Thick Embossing Crystals in Bright Gold and Malachite Fire. I popped a small heart cookie cutter onto the Creative Expressions Feather Background. Once my UTEE was moulten, I poured it into the cookie cutter. I removed it after a few minutes. I added it to my sentiment panel securing with CS Glue.

Lisa Horton is launching a One Day Special on Hochanda this evening at 8pm with some more of her lovely new stamp designs and introducing her new Pop-ems to co-ordinate. I'm offering 10% discount on items I have on my website from the shows. You can find them here. Offer applies till midnight tomorrow night or while stocks last. Discount will be applied at checkout.

You're Special

Hi Bloggers.

Here's today's card -

For the background, I started by cutting the Spellbinders Renaissance Border One out of Icicle Pearl Card 6 times. I added 3 of them to a piece of Midnight Blue Pearl Card, setting them tip to tip. I then added 2 more into the gaps. I cut the final one into half lengthways and added it into the space left at both sides. I let the glue set and then ran it through the Spellbinders Platinum Machine with the Spellbinders Elite M-Bossabilities Folder. I matted onto another piece of Midnight Blue Pearl Card.
I popped a piece of Creative Expressions Double Sided Self Adhesive Sheet onto a piece of Coconut White Card. I cut #2 die from the Spellbinders Renaiisance Jewelled Frame from it. I removed the other backing sheet and then added CS Glacier Ice Glitter Jewels.

I stamped the sentiment from the Justrite Meadow Circles Stamp Set onto Icicle Pearl Card using Jet Black Archival. I cut it out using a die from the Spellbinders Acanthus Leaf Tags Die Set. I cut the corresponding larger die from the same set out of Midnight Blue Card. I cut the #3 die from the Spellbinders Renaissance Vine Die Set.

I tied a bow using 2 lengths of Craft Consortium White Satin Ribbon and added a Craft Consortium Vintage Pearl Charm.

I assembled the card as shown adding an 8mm White Pearl to the corners and piercing around the edges using my Tim Holtz Ruler, Precision Probe and Piercing Mat.

Thanks for stopping by.
