SSH Support!
We received another support from SSH - School of Social Science and Humanities!
(Just gotta love them).
He is the Assistant Registrar of SSH, Mr Gilbert Lai!
SSH students would have recognised him immediately as he briefed us about the LJMU (Liverpool John Moores University) matters.
He has great hairstyles and from the looks of it, he takes care of it very well. I would say it is a waste to shave off his head, but guess what? He says, he is willing to shave of his head for a minimum fund raised of RM2000!
His principal – “Acts of charity, deeds of kindness” – he did it all for CHARITY!
Let’s not waste his effort and together, we will raise RM2000 for his bald head!!

MY LECTURER IS GOING BALD!!!
No kidding. This lecturer of mine taught us Mass Media Law few years back and we know pretty well that he is hilarious. He sang “Bei Jing Huan Yin Ni” in class and we love him for that. A little joke in class makes it livelier and arouses our attention. =P
Knowing him as a teacher with humour, it is not surprising that he agreed to participate in this Bald Challenge - “Botak Wanted”. When we interviewed him, he INSISTED that we put his weight as XX kg.
Despite his XX kg, he is one of the 17 wanted ‘convicts’ to go bald!
Oh, wait. I have yet to introduce him, haven’t I?
He is……. Tada!!!
Yes, our very own, MR JULIUS!!!!
He has step onto the road of holistic and honourable pathway to shave his head once the target of RM1,288 is reached!
Join this quest to raised up to RM1,288!
Visit us at the Canteen 2 foyer from 10am to 5.30pm and donate under Mr Julius’s name.

S.O.S EARTH in Tunku Abdul Rahman College
This year (2009) students from TAR College will be organising an event with the title of "S.O.S Earth" as an attempt to create a sense of urgency and also to create awareness among the public regarding the environmental conservation issues. In this attempt, we urge everyone to take immediate action as the earth is now calling out for "S.O.S"
In this event, we will have various activities and exhibition items to educate the public. First of all, the exhibition itself will be focusing on the 5 main elements which are Forest, Land and natural Resources, Ocean, River and Air. The capital letter of each elements is what form our event tagline:
Future Lies On Responsive Action
This event is supported by NGOs such as Global Environmental Centre (GEC), Department of Environment (DOE), World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF), Reef Cleck Malaysia and TRAFFIC.
Moreover, Mr Matthias Gelber, award recipient of the Greenest Person on the Planet by the Canadian organisation 3rdwhale), has also supported us in our goal to create awareness and a sense of urgency in everyone.
Grab a chance to meet the Greenest! And guess what? A live-performance by Aric Ho, artist, on the 12th August 2009 at 11.00am. Those of you who are a fan of him or simply, wants to get a glimpse of him, do come to our event to see him face-to-face! What you wanting for?
Join us on S.O.S Earth and be an Earth Ranger!
