Thouars: 64th Salon des Vins et Terroirs – 25th, 26th and 27th March

 

I've not been able to find a list of exhibitors for this year, although the poster promises 120 stands. Details from previous years shows a wide range of producers from the Loire as well as elsewhere in France. Doubtless the 2011 edition will feature some of the Thouarsais producers. Domaine des Terres Blanches and François Gigon were at the 2007 edition.

  • nombreuses animations dont le populaire "Gagner son poids en vin"

Le Marché Médiéval: Chinon – 7 August
In my post last week I put in the wrong date (31st July) – the medieval market is a week later than I thought.

Lyon: 5th-7th March
Bordeaux: 12th-14th March
Paris: 26th-29th March


Autumn
Lyon : du 28 octobre au 1er novembre 2010
Reims : du 12 au 15 novembre 2010
Lille : du 18 au 22 novembre 2010
Paris Porte de Versailles : du 25 au 29 novembre

These salons are a good opportunities to taste and buy a range of wines from independent producers from all over France. There are likely to be a number of Loire producers at these events. The one in Paris is the largest. More details here.
