Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is always a fun weekend!!  This year we had it at my parents my house. Benjee and Rachel flew in from Oklahoma with baby Andrew, it was our first time meeting Andrew!

 As  part of Thanksgiving fun this year we decided to do some family service projects! We put together little wooden cars and stained them with mineral oil.  the guy who makes them send them all over the world to kids who don't have toys.

 We also put together hygiene kits for the food pantry.

 On Friday we had a girls craft day.   Some of us made Happy Birthday Banners and some made reversible blocks!

 Craft days are always fun!

 Friday we went to SLC for the USU vs BYU basketball game.  It was super fun!

Another Birthday!

The weekend before my birthday James had meeting in Layton and they gave him a hotel.  We loaded up all the kids for a fun hotel night!  We had a fun birthday dinner at Red Robin, YUM! then the kids played in the pool with James while I walked around Target to finish up some Christmas shopping. It was perfect!

 The hotel stay was fine until it was time to go to bed.  We probably wont bring them again.  I'd rather have the night away!!

 On my birthday (Monday) I answered the door to this crazy group of kids singing my happy Birthday.  It was so great!  I love were we live and my kids have the greatest friends!

 James made me one of my favorites, brownies!!

 As tradition has it my mom make me a cheesecake.  I find a fun new recipe for her to try.  This year it was a dark chocolate cheesecake and it was so good.  I ate the last three pieces through out the week but hide them in my fridge so I wouldn't have to share!

My cute friend Shelly took my to breakfast at Kneaders.  they give you a free pastry with a sparkler!  Really what more could a girl want!!

It was such a great birthday and I felt so loved!!

Another month has passed.  He is getting so big, especially his head!!

poor kid falls over on his head a lot!  he is getting much better!

We sure love this kid.  He is so happy and a good baby.  He is just about crawling, but really it doesn't matter he gets were he want to go by rolling and scooting.

We finally got snow, the kids wanted to build snowmen.  They had to use all our snow and some of the neighbors but they got it done!!

Kyron entered two projects into the reflections contest.  He did a 3D art sculpture and his turtle oils painting.  Both took first place and moved onto the nest level.  His turtle oil painting took first again and is moving on to the state level.
