Cheese Tart

The other time, while at JB celebrating my friend Birthday, when going back, after friend drop me off, thought I will walk one round at City Square before I return to Singapore.

Passing by Season, a Confectionery & Bake shop, saw their Japanese Cheese Tart with Salted Egg @ RM3.80 each, bought 2 pieces.

The second round, after the meetup with Wenn, before going back, I went to bought 2 pc of the Japanese Cholocate Cheese Tart @ RM3.80 each.

Both, I like.

Johor Bahru (27th May)

Wenn WhatsApp me one month ago that she will be in JB and ask if we could meet up.  Of course, I was delighted.   But told her, I only familiar with City Square or Aeon Bukit Indah.  We set on City Square.  The last time I metup with her was in the airport while she was transiting.  As the transit time was less than 6 hours, she was not allow to come out.  We only meet through the glass window.  This round, we met in person.  I was telling Wenn, too bad my mum legs problem, if not, will bring my mum along to meetup with her and her mum and also broader crossing, inconvenient for my mum too.

I left my house early, as I do not want to be late and also I do not know if it's crowded at Immigration.  Singapore Immigration was smooth, but at Malaysia Immigration, it took me 40 minutes to clear Malaysia Immigration.

As I was early, I thought I will go have a cup of coffee first.  Went to Nyonya Leaf at Komtar JBCC.

Ordered a cup of Ipoh White Coffee @ RM3.50.

Three Season @ RM1.20, with the GST and service charge, total is RM5.20.

Since I still have time, I went to walk a while before proceed to the meeting place to wait for her.

As earlier on, she already had lunch with her Sister, we had Ice Cream and chit chat.

After depart with Wenn, at first I thought go back Singapore then take my dinner.  But since I was at City Square, might as well settle there before go back Singapore.  Had chicken wing , fish cutlet with spaghetti at Robin's Chicken.  It comes with a bit of fries, but the fries was cold.  The set cost RM10.30.

Ice Lemon Tea RM 3.30.  After GST and service charge, total is RM14.40.

After that, proceed back to Singapore.

After clearing Malaysia Immigration, C pick me up at the pick-up point.  Suppose to go to another café which is further away, since I was late, and M last min has something to attend to, we didn't have much time, so in the end, we end up in Coffee Signature.

C Photo, as for this Café, u know lah, in Malaysia, I not familiar, so where ever my friend go, I follow, this place is found by C while driving.

As we are celebrating M birthday (actually it's over, her birthday is on 17th April, we are celebrating belated), we ordered 2 pieces of cakes for her.  Salted Caramel Cheese and Matcha Cake.

Before leaving, I decided to pay a visit to the ladies, while out from the ladies, saw a rabbit.

C drop me at the usual place, i went to walk one round in City Square, before going back Singapore.  While on the way back, saw that the Incoming Malaysia Immigration is still Mountain People Mountain Sea, while the outgoing, very smooth.

My first experiene

Last Saturday, I went to JB to meetup with my friends and also to celebrate a friend Birthday. I left my house at 11am, I was meeting my friend at 2pm to pick me up before proceed to meet another friend..

This round, I took Bus No. 160 from Jurong East Temporary Bus Interchange, going by Woodlands Checkpoint. When the bus reached Woodlands Road, saw many slow moving heavy vehicles, my guess is that the Checkpoint must be jam.

When the bus turn towards Woodlands Checkpoint, saw many cars, but the bus land, it was smooth.

After clearing the Singapore Immigration, while going to wait for the bus to take me to Malaysia Immigration, it was long Q and also many buses which seem not to move.

Then came a mother and daughter who Q behind me, they were mentioning about walking to Malaysia Immigration, so I curiously ask, can walk, as I thought can't walk since the opening of the Banglunan Sultan Iskandar Immigration.  Since they are walking, I decided to walk too.  So it's like people walk where, I just follow.

The walking path is narrow, so I didn't manage to talk much to the mum and daughter as many people walking, they will want to overtake.

Coming to this part of the road, Malaysia side, have to be caution while walking, as no walking path for walkers.

Takes me about 1/2 hour to walk from Singapore Immigration to Malaysia Immigration.  I was in a state of shock when I arrived at the Immigration area.  I mange to reach Malaysia at around 1.20pm.  Since it's a long weekend, I thought morning, the jam will be very bad, and afternoon, won't be that bad.  I was wrong, the whole places was people mountain, people sea and was slow moving.  I only manage to clear Malaysia Immigration at around 3.10pm.

After the visit to Eco World, it's lunch time. 

(1) This place is recommended by C. Heard that C has brought her mum here when her mum is in JB (C mum stays in KL).  It was quite crowded when we reached and we have to wait for diners who left after their meal then we have a table.

(2) C daughter mention that they do sell the chilli sauce and many people has come to buy the chilli sauce.

(3) Had Ice Lemon Tea, @ RM6, as it's CNY period, saw from a notice in the wall that they increase the price of drink by RM0.30 till the 8th day of Lunar New Year, actual price is RM5.70.

(4) Fried prawn @ RM7.10, the price increased by RM0.50, if i didn't remember wrongly as i didn't take picture of the notice in the wall.

(5) Avocado Rolls @RM6.40

(6) Fuzhou Fish Ball Soup @ RM10, for soup, the price was increase by RM2 during the Lunar New Year period till the 8th day.

(10) Kway teow kosong - dry @ RM3.20

After that, went to C house (CNY visitation), before i call it a day and return to Singapore.

Eco World

After C fetch me from Bukit Indah, she bring me to Eco World. Heard that the developer is building houses in this area, in order to attract people to come, the developer make this place nice nice, hoping more people will come and take a look.  We went there for photo taking.

A trip to JB (13th Feb) ~ 正月初六

Usually during the Chinese New Year period, i will make a trip to Johor Bahru to visit a blogger (no longer active in blogging) cum friend C.

(1) I was suppose to meet C at 10.30am at Bukit Indah, left my house at 8.30am, giving me ample time to travel.  When i reach Singapore immigration, saw quite a number of coaches, i quickly whatsapp C that i might be late.  Above picture was taken after i clear Singapore Immigration and was waiting for the bus to take me to Malaysia Immigration.

(9) Reaching Aeon Mall (Bukit Indah) when i will alight and my friend will fetch me from there.  This is where i arrange to meet Claire the other time she was in JB.  Wonder when will Claire come to JB again, wink wink.

(10) I reached at around 10.35am and i didn't see my friend, so i thought i will walk into Aeon Bukit Indah and make use of the wifi at Starbuck and whatsapp my friend.  Usually when i enter Malaysia, i will switch off my data plan, to avoid accidentally incur any unnecessary charges and get a shock when the bill comes.

(11) While whatsapp my friend, saw this 财神爷 @ Aeon Bukit Indah, took picture of it.  Think some problem, i could not connect with the wifi, so i thought i will walk out and wait for my friend at the taxi stand.  It so happen my friend mention she didn't see me, so she drive one round and come back.

(12) My friend went to buy movie tickets for that night as she's watching movie with her family that night.  So i took the CNY decoration that i saw inside the shopping mall.
