Måtte bare stoppe bilen på vei hjem fra frisøren i går…..Det var så mange fine motiver der ute.

Det var så vidt begynt å rime til og i dag snør det lofiller

Ja noen syklubber er skikkelig ekte der sytøyet står i sentrum og skravla går…..om søm og sømteknikker, utstillinger og garn.

Det er virkelig gøy og utrolig inspirerende. Her er glad gjengen min

I englemodus

Jeg har aldri vært en stor tilhenger av julenisser, søte ja, men ikke noe jeg liker å ha overalt. Mens engler derimot er en svakhet. Det kan ikke være hvem som helst engel. De skal ha en personlighet og de må kunne stå fremme hele året ikke bare til jul.

Jeg elsker engler kanskje fordi de har en mening for meg i hverdagen også. Jeg tror at de virkelig finnes. Mennesker du møter som sprer glede, en venn som gir deg omsorg når du trenger det, en hjelpende hånd…Ja engler. TV serien “Engler i blandt oss” en absolutt favoritt. Tenk en serie hvor livet har en positiv mening!

“Doteppet” mitt kom aldri helt til doveggen…det kom sammen med englene på kjøkkenet til sist.

Strasbourg

With a rent car we could travel a bit more around Merete and I. So we drove a bit early back to Starsbourg where we should leave the car and Merete showed me around in the town.

To tell you all…that women…she has a glued memoary :-) She had been here once some years a go going by bus….but she found the way around…I saw the Europeen Parlament

We saw the Cathedral of Strasbourg A master piece of a building

She showed me the “Petite of France”

The win route in Alsac

  It was so nice traveling around with arent car looking,stopping, driving to see more of the lovely places on te Win rout Look at all the birds ontop off the roof…they are taking place for the night::soon the roof will be full off them…and only on these three one This wonderful garden was full of flowers in all color and just a view…….
We just had to taste some ….they were so tiny and full of taste The sweetes one I ever eaten in my life

It has been started but it takes time to get warm….. So David Benjamin and I had to try it before we took the evening..27C is not warm….but we HAD TO TRY….
Early tomorrow Benjamin and I will take time before he leave for school 38C and massage………

I love shrimp and lobster….I had shrimps for lunch….sitting at the dock and peel my shrimps…..

Oh sorry what I buy at Quiltkroken……? Fabrics, fabrics……they all are cream or white with a small pattern on…a magacine,shippers,tread… and more fabrics

I make a lot of bags and I found two pattern from Bente Malm I did not have….LOLOL so I bougth them….

Bergen

I went to Bergen for having a day with Janne in Øygraden,but I love Bergen and have some friends over there so I staid ….shopping, visiting my good friend Agnete, longarmquilting……and going to Hardanger. Wow what I enjoy! I will give you some gleam and show you some photo…………..

I came to Bergen early friday morning….so after putting my suitcase at the bustation saftybox I went to turisting Bergen…

I had the best sunny day…. The master photo is Lille Nordgårdvannet,I went to Bryggen and took the turisttrain going aroud Bergen to rest my feet….I photo a lot of old buldings and small nerrow streets….You can read more about Bergen here.

Inger Lise

Elverum i Januar

Friday evening I left for Elverum with Anne Ida and Bjørg in my car. The weather was dreadful it was snowing heavy. The car was filled up with fabric and sewing machines….ready to make “Tepper som varmer” quilts for longtime sick children. May Britt have open here home for us to sleep and her boss opens their canteen to sew in.

Look what we reach to do…It was so fun. Doing what we love and charring it with friends and then give those away to spread some love to make someone’s day a bit lighter.

Back home we dropped in at Løitens lights to buy some candle. We had a good trip back home….well nearly all the way. When we reach Gardermoen the heavy snowy weather just come up. I was glad it was so close to home…

My last miles alone back to my place was a dreamy way…no snowing…..but there were someone going out for work….the snow plough car….and he hit me when we meet in the curve just ten minutes from home…. Happy am I. I live and my car can be fixed

Big day is coming soon

Preparing the upcoming day in January my DD and two of my sons DS4 DS5 are working hard for me. This is going to be a big room where a lot of my visiting friends are going to sleep over on the big happening.

For me it looks like they really have a little time to get ready, but they keep saying it will be done. I have to believe them don’t I?

This room has standing untouched for many year now and I had trouble with mice, squirrel, bat and birds building nest inside the roof here. So I am glad he started on it and that I need it finished for my birthday. ……J

My DS4 is just finished his education as an electrician so he is helping me with electricity and DS5 is a really good helping hand for both of them.

So my friends ….I think it will be done in time for your arrival!!!!!!!!!!

Some wonderful gifts

Yesterday at our local quilt club I got two wonderful gifts from good friends.
Bjørg bought me this Christmas win for all the times I picked her up going for our quilt meetings. I drive in all time you want me to Bjørg. XOXOXO.

Isn’t she nice…..I loved the etiquette telling me it is Christmas win LOL.

The wonderful Christmas card I got from Inga who made this herself. On the back there is a stamp….. in fabric of course. She bouth the stamp fabric when we went to France and I fall for it...so I asked if I could whish for a Christmascard. Inga you remembered me.....Thanks A LOT.
