Hi all,   did anyone see the beautiful sun flowers on the morning news today??? ( I think it was GMA)
any, when I saw them I thought they would make a great card, 4 all together...My nephew is also growing them in his garden
I was looking for brown liquid pearls and found a brown stickles for the center of the flower....
I curled the pedals on all but one,inked around all

Hi all, I have a set of note cards to make for or DCE at church. I could just go through my stash and pick out a few but I have the time to make some (6 total)   I found this cute way to make a crescent moon over at .... http://scrappingactuary.blogspot.ca/2012/07/owl-be-right-over.html

when I saw this sketch I thought of a flamingo (something tall and lean)
I found her in Serenade with the help of MY cut Search... I had no idea it was in there

I remember as a little kid how my sister and I would be swimming in a lake and all of a sudden .... momma duck with her many babies would come swimming past.... all things would stop as we watched the family of ducks go by  

the ducks are from Nate's ABCs and the clouds are from pooh and friends

good morning,  I showed my daughter the "you rock" card I had made for her boyfriend and she looked at it and told me he is not into music...he is into fishing, so back to the drawing board and I came up with this one.
If she thinks it is too girly, she will be getting it for her bd...  it is a coral color, looks more pink in picture.

Good morning to all, a much cooler day in central WI. I even have the windows open,,,,aww fresh air!
I still had my pink papers t from out from the cupcake one (2) I made the other day, so I made 2 more cards for this challenge...
'Oh-So Pretty in Pink' along with this beautiful photo for inspiration and I ask that you create a card or project inspired by the COLORS IN THE PHOTO and INCLUDE A FLOWER!

Hi all, If this looks like you have seen this one, you have,  I have been looking at this one for a few days now and was not happy with it, so I added this guitar  and looks more like a "You Rock" card   also for a teen boy....

sew cards?

yup!!! I never thought I would ever sew on a card and here I did 2

My daughter was going to tare the straps off of her back pack,  so I got my sewing machine out and fixed the straps....much better because it just would have been worthless without them,,,, I think she wanted new and that is not going to happen...
as long as the machine was out I figured I might as well try a SEW card..

 I was going to have the inside of the card the same as the out side but that was too much work for one card and made 2 instead.   At least I know I can still sew a straight line and go around corners!
not sure if I will make another, but I can say "I did that!"

Our challenge this week is to make a card, layout or 3D project for Christmas.  Use pink, black, white and one other color of your choice.

this is what I came up with, I think the gold  music notes go well with the touch of gold in the sock.

We have a new Die Cuttin' Diva challenge this week and we sure hope you will share your card, layout, or altered project. All the projects from last's week sketch were quite impressive and we are hoping for a large turn out for this challenge.

The Challenge...Christmas in July

It is that time of year to get a head start on those holiday projects, so you do not have to worry about not having enough in December.

Last night I was looking at YouTube and found this type of card under window cards, think I can find it again, nope!!! about the only thing that looks anything like hers is the window effect with the snowflakes on it.  Hers you could see through, but I did not like it on mine so I covered if up and used my snowflake cuttle bug folder and pasted it in, I also had no luck with welding these layers from Elegant edges, so I made them separately and glued them together hers had a darling little boy and mine has this WW deer.  if I find it,,, I will give her credit, but for now I cannot find it anywhere.

 I deleted all the cut marks with my design studio, but after taking a closer look at Donna's, she left them on.

Wow!!!   the BIG 2.... seems only like yesterday,,,, I am excited to show you this card today, I had so much fun, from the smiley sun to the little red crab and the dino is on a wobble.

 I wanted the dino a bit more to the left, but once those wobbles stick there is no turning back!

Once again, the heat wave kept me from finishing a card and I wanted to see what it would look like with this rose,  I used 2 shades of red and inked the edges with white.. and curled up the edges.
I think there are 6 layers of red and 2 of the green

Welcome to a new BBTB2 challenge.  Brenda here and it is my first time hosting a challenge here at BBTB2 and I'm so excited!  I went with "Window to my World".  Use any Cricut cart to create a project of any kind using this theme.

blue and gold pieces are 1/2 inch wide
white.... 1 1/2 inch sq
blue       1 1/16 inch sq
heritage sewing machine @ 2 inches

NEXT TIME I would like to start the guilt with a 2 1/4inch sq.   so I can get another white layer behind quilt, also will have to down size the white and blue squares    KEEP THE OTHERS AT 1/2 inch wide

It was actually comfortable this morning up in my craft room so I made this card...it is up to 81 in here so I will be going down stairs where it is cooler....

Hi all, Remember blowing bubbles when you were a kid? I still love to with the grand kids!
I found something like this over at bugbites , she had one made from something else and I thought I would put one together with my design studio, George, indie art and don juan....
I think it turned out quit well.... and I did save it because it took awhile to figure it out...hope you like..
