Good morning to all,  Happy Good Friday and Early Happy Easter!!!!  I Love this time of year! the sun feels so good even though the air is still a bit cool..and there is plenty of snow on the ground, the trees have been tapped, so the guys are ready to go when the trees start running
this card was a lot of fun to make with this cute paper background...

Good Morning to all, The sun is shining brightly into my craft room this lovely morning....

Wow! this card, what to say about it!   It was a challenge with all the tiny pieces and it was even cut at 4 inches.  I must have use the wrong brown, because it shred to pieces and had to remove and clean the cutter from all the fibers wrapped around the blade. So I went to the rust orange.  so glad this one is done!
I did not want to ink all those tiny piece, so I did enough for the look!

good morning to all, I had this saved on my DS and made 4. Need to restock my note cards and who doesn't like a cool chick! the one on the right lost its leg so I added some grass to cover it up!

 I took Jacob's card apart and will add this one to Ruthann's basket....

Hi all, Over at BBTB2 they have a challenge to use a cricut card feature. So I went through my cartridges and since I wanted to make a card with a fish on it for the fund raiser, found this one in life is a beach. I don't remember making this type of card before, my design studio came in handy with this card for sizing., would not have be able to with out it! the first one was a royal pain, but the 2nd went together like a charm!

 

after making the first on I noticed that it should have a water line in the bowl

so for the 2nd I created one, it is not on the cartridge but made one with my DS

Hi all, Sunday at church I was talking to my over worked girlfriend who was explaining to me how she has to put a gift basket together for a auction. (her son is going to Texas this summer and it is a fund raiser for him)
Knowing she is not the crafty type I offered to put together a basket of cards for her. much to my surprise she excepted my offer. (she is not the type to except such offers)
this is my first(decided to make 2, one for her and one for my stash)

Hello again,  looks like the sun is going to shine for a little while now,,,
I thought I had missed the deadline for this card, but looks like I have a few hours left.
I made this for the 2nd wedding we have this year. It is in 2 weeks and I am hoping the snow will be gone, but I don't believe it will be.

good morning to all, it is snowing like crazy again, but I don't think it will add up to much, they are huge flakes falling gently down.
I am really happy the way this card turned out. I saw this  at the deconstructed sketch and I knew exactly what cut I was going to use with these papers and even though my f-i-l birthday is not til the end of May, it is for him.

good morning to all, another cold day here in central WI.   20 for the high today and the wind makes it that much worse....I am house bound and can not drive at least til Friday from a surgery to remove my gall bladder, so I am thinking here..I pick the right week to have to stay in!

About Jacob's first card I made,  I was not happy with it at all and this morning made a new one with  cross that will be on the top of his cake...

these are much better colors for a baby boy,,, I think there was too much white on the first one I  made.

good morning to all, The fields are not ready for the tractor, but the guys are. the way it has been snowing, it will be April before they will be able to get out there. Little mud on the tires....

lost both Aunt and Uncle

yesterday my mom calls to tell me that my Aunt  and Uncle both passed with in hours of each other. They both were in their 90's and lived a good life. They had been married for over 73 years. I will not be able to attend the funeral because of a surgery I will have on Friday. But I will be with them in spirit.

good morning to all, look what I found at Wal-mart.com...2 for $50 with free shipping.  at the Wal-mart in town I have seen them for $40 each. when I placed the order it said it would arrive in 7 to 10 business days but I had it in 3 days,,,,,go figure! I also wanted the 2 of these so it worked out really well for me....

I just noticed I did not post this card, so here goes,  I am tired of winter this year, and yes it is snowing a bit this morning, but we are lucky, we did not get the amounts of snow they got the west and south of us. Talked to my daughter who lives in northern Minnesota  and they had 6 inches and counting.

Anyway, this is how my nephew ended up with a "summer" card..

good morning to all, this card is for my friend and I think we are going to have to start celebrating out birthdays together in summer. Mine is in November and it was stinking cold to go out and it looks like her is going to be the same, that makes 4 long months this year of stinking cold weather, I just hope I remember this when it is blistering hot this summer.
for her card I wanted to make a spring card, with a blue bird and a shaped card for a little fun,
sweet and simple... songbird cartridge does not have wings for the birds in it so I found it in create a critter.
added some flat pearls because it was a bit boring without.
