Easter Parade

Hello everyone and welcome to Tuesday. I haven't been at all well over the last days, having caught this terrible cough/cold that has been going around.  Hopefully I'm on the mend now that the antibiotics have started to kick in.
The place that I work had an Easter Bonnet parade so all the staff had to make their own Easter Bonnet.  I decided to use some of my stamps from Sweet Stamps and as the challenge this week is "EASTER" which worked in great.
Head on over to Sweet Stamps to join in the fun and enter for your chance to win a spending spree in the Sweet Stamps Store.

Onto my card for the card, well its not a card as such, I decided to make another wall hanging for the occasion. Thought it was something a little different to send that a card.
I started with cutting a Scalloped square for the base using Cheery Lynn XL scalloped square dies (the biggest die). The Craft Den will be getting in some new stock of Cheery Lynn Designs Dies they should be in the store sometime this week. This includes doily dies, borders, cutie flowers and lots more.

The design paper is one of the new paper pads from Prima called Songbird just love these new papers.  The card stock is Bazzill - Deep Sea Dotted Swiss.  The paper doily behind is a new one from Nellie Snellen called paper frames and come in two sizes 9cm and 10cm.  I masked Tilda in front of the flower basket and managed to get it just right in one try..

I have coloured the gorgeous Tilda in copics

Happy Easter Tilda Style ~ Creative Belli challenge # 115

Welcome to other challenge over on
This week its Challenge # 115 and the theme is...
Eggs/Bunnies.

I would also like to extend a fair well to Holly and Chris they are leaving the team to head on to pastures new.  They started Creative Belli way back in 2008 wanting to use up all their old and forgotten crafting items.  So Creative Belli was formed! Holly and Chris have managed to find a very talented lady
Leah Corneilus who has agreed to take over the blog.  Leah is the owner of
We have a few exciting changes to come in the following weeks.  One of them being a few prizes up for grabs so stay tuned for more information to come..
Welcome Leah hope you have as much fun as we do designing for Creative Belli

Onto my sample card for this fortnights challenge.

I brought one of the Martha Stewart Punch around the page sets last month.  I had lost the instructions of how to use it.  So I looked at the corner punch and noticed the sliver marks at the side.  "Arr" I said to myself "you must have to line up the edge of the paper to them"  Needless to say it didn't work out and I ended up with punches and holes in places I didn't want them.  So about a week later after having numerous failed attempts I decided to look on the net for instructions.  It was only then that I discovered that the corner punch has wings!   What a plonker!!!...  lol.

My DIY embellishments are
Flowers and I used Nessie labels and cut in half and used them as hinges, distressed and crackle painted them.
