large folio album part 7 - Gatefold attached Box
Working on the Gatefold Doors of the attached box on the large Folio album. In this tutorial we finish off the doors with our patterned paper and add the metal closure. On the back I add the policy style flaps that hold the extra photo matts in place. This uses up the space that would otherwise be wasted.

Large Folio Album Part 5 - Decorating and adding pockets
In this tutorial we get to do the fun part and we start to decorate our folio with our patterned paper. I have chosen the paper by Stamperia called Hortensia and is a very floral and stunning paper pad. In this video we add our pockets and magnets and finish our pages that go over the inner box that is fixed into the large folio.

Melted Beeswax Flower Tutorial
Hello everyone, nice to be blogging today. When the sun shines it really makes things seem that little bit better.
I have had a busy couple of weeks and a really hectic one to come. I'm not complaining as I'm loving my life at the moment. I have met some really awesome people over the last few months and I feel so blessed that I have been able to do that.
I have another video to share with you all today, this one is one that I had been asked to do from a number of people and that's "MELTED BEESWAX FLOWERS". I have been using beeswax on my paper flowers for a good few years now. I just love the effect that it gives your project and it makes the flowers a lot more durable!
I'm really pleased with the out come of this video. I don't seem to be as lost for words as I have been in previous videos. (Great when you can see an improvement)
Thanks for taking the time to visit my little corner of the internet.
PS. FPlease stop by and check out my blog on Friday as I have a secret to tell and show...

Mid Month Inspiration and Tutorial ~ Party Bags
Has anyone been watching the Radio one's Big Weekend? what a great day! I have certainly enjoyed watching it online with my daughter having a bop here and there. Its on again tomorrow with the main act being "Lady GaGa".
My project would have got posted earlier but if I'm honest I'd got my dates wrong and didn't think this project was due until next week.. Sorry ladies
This months tutorial is for
"Party Bags"
and our very talented Michelle has written a great tutorial for us to follow.
Visit
Ellephantastic Challenge Blog to see the tutorial and other makes from the DT
The image is a Digi from Ellephantastic called Rodger - Pilot
Bag is made from an A4 envelope, stars have been painted with crackle paint and then distressed, brown card stock, string, letters I made on the computer and a Martha Stewart punch to finish the top. Coloured with Copics.

Corner Bookmark ~ Mid month inspiration for Ellephantastic
Good morning, well I have come down with this horrible virus that is going about at the moment. First my daughter had it then DH. So I guess its my turn now, I'm feeling a little sorry for myself...:0(
Anyway, its my turn for the mid month tutorial over on Ellephantastic. I chose to do a corner bookmark. I love making these little projects as they are so quick and look fab presented in a box as a little gift.
Don't forget that you still have time to enter into the
and the theme this month is Anything but Square or Rectangle.
On to my tutorial
Craft Supplies you will need
- Score board and score tool (I used the Houghie board)
- Large Scalloed edge punch (mine is 3")
- Edge punch or border die (I used Martha Stewart doily punch)
- Pencil
- Paper trimmer
- Double sided tape and glue

- Large Scalloed edge punch (mine is 3")

Step 1
Card stock and Measurements
- Card stock cut to 4" x 4" square (if you prefer you could make the square bigger or smaller)
- 2x Squares cut to 2 ¾” x 2 ¾” (cut one out of card stock and the other from your chosen design paper).
- If you make your square bigger or smaller you will need to adjust your smaller square. To do this just measure your diagonal score mark this will give you the size of your smaller square.
Step 2
Mark three sides of your 4" square at 2 inches
Step 3
Score your lines from mark to mark
Step 4
The two smaller 2 3/4" squares, cut them both diagonally to end up with two triangles
Step 5
Use your punch or die to shape the bottom edge of the base of your bookmark.
Step 6
Using one of your design paper triangles, glue to the front.
Step 7 & 9
Measure from the bottom edge of the triangle to the top edge of your shaped border. Cut a piece of card stock and decorate. I used distressing inks to add some colour to my edges.
Step 8
Glue to the front and add ribbon
Step 9
Follow step 8, this is for the back of your bookmark to hide those ribbon fringes
Step 10
Use double sided tape to secure the two flaps at the back. Then add the other card stock triangle to hide the gap. Decorate with the remaining designer paper triangle
Step 11
Add your die cut circle and scalloped edged circle and decorate. For this bookmark I used a digital image from
Called "New Rosaline"
Add your chosen embellies and you've finished.
