First Valentine's Card of 2015
and I am sure it won't be the last. I received these pearls from Cropper's Delight's My Favorite Things crop and wanted to use them on a card. I received these hearts from my Secret Sister from last year's MFT Crop. Would you believe there are no die cuts on this one? The stamp sets are from Stampin' Up (love) and the Happy Valentine's Day is from Close to My Heart's Artfully Sent Cricut Collection (1 of 3 stamps set that come with this collection). Here is my super easy card:
Thanks for stopping by. Until next time...

Fishin' for a Happy Birthday...
Greetings all. In preparation for the Snowzilla storm they are expecting for the East Coast, I decided to make a card after prepping (aka food shopping and gas for the snow blower). One of the Giveaways from the 2015 My Favorite Things Crop with Cropper's Delight was from The Pearl Girl AKA Michelle Paolercio Borsack. As soon as I received the multi-colored pearls, I knew I had the perfect use for them. And here it is:
It allowed me to use a Stampin' Up stamp set I have had FOREVER, scrap paper and my new Washi tape (Silver Geometric from Close to My Heart). I used colored pencils and metallic gel pens to color the stamp. I just love it!! Thanks Michelle for your generosity that inspired my creativity. Please check her out on Facebook and share the love. Until next time....

I'm baaaaacccckkkkkk....... (I think)
Greetings and Salutations!
Have you all missed me? I have missed you all! Things are finally beginning to feel like they are somewhat normal since Dad's passing. I went to my monthly Stampin' Up group and we learned a new technique. I am in LOVE with the Framelits dies and embossing. The stamp set is from the Occasions catalog and is called Petite Petals. It comes in wood or clear mount stamps. I used the Square Lattice Textured Embossing Folder. Here is the first card I made:
If you know me then you know that these are not my usual colors. I decided that I wanted to make a second card but a bit different. My friend Erin and I put our heads together for a man card. Two heads are definitely better than one and here is what he came up with:
I used the By The Tide stamp set (also available in wood or clear mount). I had way too much fun. We always have a card swap and these are the ones I received:
Thanks for coming by to share my crafty day. If you are looking for a Stampin' Up rep, I would definitely recommend my friend Julie. You can shop on her website HERE. If you are looking for a Close to My Heart rep, I am always happy to be of service. My website is suenj.ctmh.com. Well off I go to sort my latest order and I will be sharing some pics tomorrow. Until next time....

Joy to the World....
Good day my friends....
I took a couple of days hiatus to get acclimated to being back home and to work. I had to wait to share my current project as it was a early birthday gift for my bestest friend Laurie. We have been friends since H.S. (1983) and she appreciates when I make her hand made presents. The holidays were rough for both of us and I wanted to bring a little JOY to her winter days. Thus, I made her this winter Joy banner....
The banners are canvas and the papers were all Stampin' Up. I figured that she can hang it in her office at work. I added Stickles to make stamped letters to make them stand out.
I will try to post frequently but this is a difficult time for our family. Family is always first for me so I promise to post as much as possible. All good thoughts are definitely welcome. Until next time....

Get Inky! Stamps Challenge Inspiration Post- Onward and Upward
Good day all! It is my turn to bring inspiration for the Get Inky Stamps Challenge "Onward and Upward." I have to say that this was a team project with my dear Hubby. He loves tart candles as they make our house smell delicious. I always say that he is my MacGyver. He decided he wanted to make his own tart warmer for our main bathroom. He, of course, needed my help to make it pretty! To me onward and upward makes me thinking of the flying creatures of the world. Here is the finished product:

Guest Designer Day for Crafty Card Gallery
Good day all....
Today I am guest designer over at Crafty Card Gallery. Our challenge this month was Fall Colors and I decided to piece together a card with some of my favorite stamps and tools. Here is the card I made:
Stamps for Ghost, Pumpkins and Sentiment are from Get Inky! Stamps 2013 Spooktacular Halloween Set. The clouds are from Get Inky! Stamps Whimsical Moon and Stars. The fence is cut with my Creative Memories Border Maker System and the Spooky fence cartrtidge (RETIRED). The buttons are Stampin' Up and the tree was cut with my Cameo Silhouette. I decided to make the ghost peek out from the pumpkins to say BOO! Thanks to Crafty Card Gallery for having me today. Until next time....

A small sense of accomplishment....
has been obtained this past week. I have not been feeling 100% and my creativity seemed to be sapped. I have so many ideas in my head but they have not been cut and glued. I did manage to do a little scrapping and a little card making this week. Here is the fruits of that minimal labor.
We were mucking it up as a family in Walmart with the kids and got a kick out of the hats. David went with the car mechanic hat.
This week I got together with my favorite Stampin' Up rep Julie for a little holiday card making. She is so wonderful that she gave the class to just me! I enjoyed making these cards using the Festive Flurry bundle (available in wood or clear stamps), Frosted Finishes Embellishments and Silver 1/8" ribbon . I decided to use non-traditional Christmas colors for a more of a Winter feel.
I made sure I placed my order for these items before I left for the evening. You can stop by Julie's site and get them too. I am planning on getting a little crafty while watching the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. with the family. Thanks for stopping by and until next time.....

Get Inky Design Team Challenge- Glitter Challenge
It is another fun filled challenge over at the Get Inky Challenge Blog. This time we were to use glitter. You know that glitter is not one of my favorite things to work with so I decided to keep it contained. Here is my card:
I can never seem to have enough birthday day cards and this was so easy to make. I used the Buzzing Bees stamp set. You can find it here at Blue Moon Creations. I colored this little fellow with my Stampin' Up markers and my gold metallic gel pen. I used my Creative Memories Cheerful Birthday paper and some flower dimensional stickers that I had in my stash. I used my Stampin Up fine glitter for the inside. This was such a fun shaker card to make and the stamp set gives you so many sentiment choices and sizes of bees. I think this is my favorite set so far. I know you will love it too so make sure you hop on over and get one for yourself. Until next time....

I'm A Guest Designer today over at....
Crafty Card Gallery. I always enjoy being a part of Jenn's Design team and this challenge brought out my love of stamping! We were asked to take a stamp set we haven't used in a while and this one surely qualified. It is an old Stampin' Up set I have and probably used once. So I googled for inspiration and found a card layout I liked. I always change the colors and an element or two to make it my own. In this case, I used the More Amore designer paper pack from Stampin' Up. The papers are double sided and just the perfect background. My ink was Stampin' Up's Melon Mambo and the sparkly came from Creative Memories P.S. I Love You Embellishment Pack. The border was made with my Creative Memories Border Maker System and Frame Chain border cartridge. Here's my card:
The dimensions I used are as follows:
4 1/4" x 5 1/2" for card base
4" x 5 1/4" for heart paper
3 3/4" x 5" for white base for stamping
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you visit Crafty Card Gallery's page and show some love there. Until next time.....

I am seeing triple....
Triple step stamping that is! I went to a stamping group on Tuesday and learned this new technique. I definitely love it for sure. The paper and stamps are all Stampin' Up. You can see them on this website: Stampin' Up. Here are my wonderful cards:
The card on the top is a little different. I used a Sizzix embossing folder from Stampin' Up, stamped the lighter color in ink and the darker color is heat embossed on. I will definitely be planning on make some other cards like this! Thanks for stopping by. If you want to learn how to make cards like this, you can Google "Triple Step Stamping" and there are Youtube videos. Until next time....

I've been pretty productive....
I have been a busy beaver and have some cards to share. Some I made (one for a challenge) and some I received from my kind SU friends. First let me share the swap cards:
We had an amazing time creating together and I learned some new techniques. Here are the cards I made:
And last but not least, here is a card I made for a challenge:
I just love the embossing and then using the brayer. The embellishments are Stampin' Up Soda Pop Tops. The big one was flattened using the Sizzix Big Shot. I love the flower buttons too. I plan on having lots of new things on my blog coming soon (hint, hint). Thanks for popping by. Until next time...

I Heart U
Hi again! I have another card I made using a template from the Silhouette store. I always wanted to make a window card and now I can! I decided to jump start my Valentine's cards. I am not sure which kid will get this one yet. Here it is:
I used one of my Stampin' Up Cuttlebug folders, a brad from the same company and a heart brad I had in my stash.I can definitely see making more of these!!! I will have one more card to share with you tomorrow and my guest designer week will be coming to an end for Crafty Card Gallery. Until tomorrow....

It's that time of Year...
As we are getting closer to the holidays, it becomes time for card swaps and Christmas card orders. I even found myself getting excited about Christmas stuff in our local Walgreens (I even got a gift for my Dad that was too cute). Well, during our power outage due to Hurricane Sandy, I decided to work on some cards for a swap I am doing with Jenn of Crafty Card Gallery. The theme was winter so I opted to take out one of my older Stampin' Up stamp set and so ink spots. I used my favorite Corner Rounder from Creative Memories. To embellish on these cards, I used a mixture of products. Here is the results:
Can you see that I used my Cameo Silhouette to cut the snowflakes after the power came back on? I am so glad that I did not allow Sandy to interrupt my creativity. Right before we lost power I was offering a special for the newest Creative Memories products. I was offering $5.00 off of every $50 dollars ordered. I have decided to extend this sale to November 15th. You can stop by my website HERE to see all the wonderful items. There are some LIMITED EDITION products that you can see in the November/December catalog. The one thing you need to know is that the products in the mini catalogs are LIMITED EDITION and once they are gone they're gone. I do not want you to miss out on the products that you really want by delaying. You might have also have caught Nancy O'dell on TV talking about her newest book, "Here's to Fabulous You". This is a wonderful holiday gift for the special women in your life. Don't hesitate to contact me here. I can also be your own personal shopper and contact your loved ones with your special requests. Until next time...

Her Craft Kre8tions... Let them eat cake :)
Welcome to June's project for Her Craft Kre8tions. We have been very fortunate to have a wonderful sponsor this month that Scrapbook Society, http://scrapbookstampsociety.com/, has given us this beautiful design, http://scrapbookstampsociety.com/ auction_details.php?name=Marie-Let-them-eat-a-Cupcake-Sherri-Baldy-Digi-Stand&auction_id=102614. to showcase our creativity.
Of course there are rules that we implemented that the creativity could finish Marie as they wanted BUT (ok, there is always a BUT!!), it needed to be a journal with an additional image on the inside.
Now, with that being said -- have we got a line-up for you!!!!

Design Team Blog: http://her-craft-kre8tions.blogspot.com/
For my project, I decided to make this a bit humorous. Here is the front cover (with lots of bling):
I just love the colors as they are quite yummy. Now for the inside I decided to do something a little different. I took my Stampin Up Punch (that gets not enough love) and heart punch. This is going to be a journal that I use. Here is the first page that I will write my thoughts on. Marie can keep a secret, can't she? :D
Didn't I tell you that this is one creative group!!! Oh, yes, we even have some phenomenal blog candy which we were going to have last month BUT (there goes that word again) Miss Lynne had been in the hospital - we are going to have the "kick-off" blog candy for this hop!!!! Thus we have Accent Essentials Cricut Cartridge for one lucky winner!!!
Finally, Lynne Kirsch has an altered journal for one lucky winner as seen below!
Now, to be eligible for the blog candy AGAIN, there are rules --- you must stop and comment at each stop along the way which I know you won't mind doing as I know you are going to be having a great time checking out each and every project........
Hope you enjoyed our hop .... and next month we have another challenge that will be presented to our Design Team .... "Like the Wind"!!!

Crafty Card Gallery Sketch Blog Hop - June 2-3
Welcome to the June Sketch Blog Hop. Everyone has had so much fun doing these it's turned into a regular event! The purpose of this hop is to show how all of these talented bloggers can take the same sketch and come up with totally different cards. If you've never used a card sketch before, give it a try! You should have arrived from BLOG NAME HERE. If not, be sure to go back to the start at www.craftycardgallery.blogspot.com. Grab your favorite beverage and sit back & hop along with us! Here's the sketch:
My imagination ran wild on this one but here is the first card I came up with:
I used my Gypsy to make the die cuts. The hearts are a wheel through Stampin' Up. I used my PSA stamp that I won in a blog hop for the center sentiment. I plan on ordering this new Stamper System through Creative Memories as I love the look of my sentiment. I decided to add some bling too! I just love the colors.
Thanks for stopping by and now I send you off to Ashley. Until next time....

Crafty Card Gallery's Quilling Challenge
Happy Saturday all :)
I am super excited to bring you my newest creation. When I saw the call for a Quilling Challenge that Jen of Crafty Card Gallery posted, I just had to agree. I have seen so many beautiful things made (some that I will share here for inspiration) and hope to do even more. The tool provided by our sponsor made it EASY PEASY LEMON SQUEEZY :) Since I love butterflies, I decided to make one with my tool.
For Mother's Day I bought myself a new Sizzix die. It is a long one and makes two different border types. Here is my card:
I also used my Sizzix Scalloped Squares die and the paper I used were all scraps. I used a Stampin's Up stamp set for the sentiment "for you" and the inside says "because nice matters". I love the colors of the card (has two of my favorite colors).
Quilling is just so versatile and creative! I hope that you will stop by Crafty Card Gallery's website for a special offer.

Crafty Card Gallery's April Sketch Blog Hop
Welcome to the April Sketch Blog Hop. Everyone has had so much fun doing these it's turned into a regular event! The purpose of this hop is to show how all of these talented bloggers can take the same sketch and come up with totally different cards. If you've never used a card sketch before, give it a try! Here's the sketch we were provided:
And here is my interpretation:

I made my circle as an easel card and used a Stampin' Up set that I received from a friend. I stamped the two colors at the same time by using my Stampin' Up markers to color the stamp first. Of course I had to add some bling. Normally, I have the easel stand a bit lower but wanted to showcase this beautiful paper from my scrap pile.
