Mack can never get enough popsicles.
Many temper tantrums have been thrown when I have refused to give him a 3rd in 1 day, it gets pretty bad.
But on the days that I do give in to even 1 popsicle he loves lounging in the backyard after playing in the sprinklers and munching on one...or two :).
Speaking of the backyard.... It's finished!
Well, as good as it's going to get.
Before: (just the porch)
There used to be a cement slab under the kids window and then pavers.
We removed them and added grass (which hopefully gets enough sun throughout the day that it should survive)
It makes the yard look more open and there is a soft spot under the swings which was a must.
Also I wanted a little gravel pit to dig in. It's about 2 ft deep and the kids have fun playing in it.
The grass has almost filled in completely and the backyard has been so nice to relax in.
Aww i love it!
(yea, you get a really raw photo of "real life" in the backyard. Don't ya just love my rug hanging on the wall. That is going to be cleaned today. Now that's real:)
And after sprinklers and popsicles, the kids received a fun toy from their cousins. Vsmile!
Katelyn LOVES the games and I LOVE how educational they can be:)
I lost 19 lbs a couple months ago, however right after that I went through a hard time and being the emotional eater that I am, I gained 5lbs back.
I have been working really hard at eating healthy w/o killing myself. I cheat when I want and I am smart about my cheating for the most part.
I am running/walking 3-4 miles every morning and trying to be more active.
I feel more positive about myself, I was truly struggling and felt lost, but now that I am focusing more on myself along with taking care of my family.
I AM HAPPY!
(me this morning after my walk:)
Goodbye 2o lbs!!!!
